I need a religious app made which will display prayer times for all localities.

Any mosque may make a timetable in a specifically formatted way in an excel spreadsheet and upload it to my site.

Once uploaded, anyone who has the app (which you will create) can download any uploaded mosque timetable to their iPhone/iPad.

The app will display the data from the uploaded spreadsheet in a nice graphical way.

To understand how and where to display the data, you must become familiar with the spreadsheet and what it is conveying.

A particular mosque will upload its spreadsheet to my site and my site will verify that it is formatted correctly.

Once uploaded, it will display the various mosque timetables available, in a nice list order. All the information will be in a database.

People who have downloaded the app can then access my website page from within the app and download a particular (or as many as they wish) timetable(s) to the app for them to see the data contained within, in a nice graphical way.

In order to make this app, you need to know a little about prayers and how they are structured. You need to know some terminology.

Look at the attached example spreadsheet and the image I have attached found from a similar app to get an idea of what needs to be done.

In mosques, prayers are held 5 times a day at specific times.
Each of these 5 prayers are split into 2 categories.
The beginning time of the prayer and the actual congregation time of the prayer (Jamaat time).

Each mosque publishes its prayer times for every month and gives it to the worshipers on paper.

Now, worshipers can access these same prayer times through this app.

The app will show the current days prayer times (both beginning times and Jamaat times) as the main default screen.
By swiping left, they can view the whole months timings on one page (with scroll).

You will also pull data (from an online database) which contains the mosque name, city, Valid dates, month name and year and display that in its appropriate place.

Along with this, there will be some minor additions like a info page, a small text label at the bottom of the main screen, my logo, the 512 image and the smaller image needed for the app store.

This has to be universal app for iPhone, iPad and iPod.

All code needs to be commented properly.

There may be one or two minor additions or changes along the way so be prepared.

The web part is done and I have the xml webservice links you can use to connect to my DB.

When it comes to admin panel I would like to add custom times for each city and each month and each day. Or it can pull prayer times automatically from www.islamicfinder.org. or something similar.

I run a Christian community website which is powered by phpfox v2. I require a prayer room plugin to be made, which is very similar to one on tangle.com found here http://www.tangle.com/prayers.

The look does not need to be the same but i would like it to have the following features which appear on the tangle.com prayer room:

On the prayer room homepage, there is a submit form.
The latest prayers are shown along with most viewed and most commented.

I am currently using the built in bulletin board which comes with phpfoxv2 and i think this could be duplicated and adjusted to work the way the prayer room on tanlge.com works.

My website is a non-profit website, so our budget is not big and i am also out of work. If the job is done to a high standard and i am happy, the there will be future work as well.

We are seeking work for a one time project (possibly also maintaining) of a new web site.
The basic idea is for people to sign up to receive daily sms and email alerts that will be automatically generated from a self solutions/calculation database, that will run every 60 seconds.
basically its a prayer time reminder based on sunset and sundown and many more time zones inbetween, and of course every location has a different time, every day has a different time, and every user wants a different reminder, that adds up to 100′s of thousands of different messages created from a time/location database combined with user database.

We are using the Elgg framework to build a social networking site for women. This site will have scrapbooking (which is being done in flash separately). It will also have blogs with different 5 themes the user can choose to apply to their blog. (different css sheets). We will provide you with the design, all you have to do is style the site to look very similar to what we give you.

Additional functionality we need built in.
1. We need the scrapbooking to tie into their user account. (they can access their saved books / page / etc.)
2. We are going to have a “meditation / prayer” room. In this room, people can submit prayer request which will go to administrators in the backend under “prayer requests”. They can then choose if they want those prayers to be shown randomly in the prayer / meditation room where a random one is pulled each time they visit. There will also be a timer in this room which they can set, as a means of meditating with background music,which we will provide.
3. We need to have a store built into the site and tied with the backend. The administrator should be able to add / edit / upload pictures of products through the backend, and the store should again be incorporated with the users main account, so they can see their previous orders / tracking etc…
4. There will be 3 to 4 separate blogs for administrator use that will be subject based. These will also need to be accessible from the backend so that the owners of those 3 or 4 blogs can upload new entries.

Other features we need included are “fans” instead of friends. People can become fans of other users and on users profiles it will show who is a fan of them.

There will be some information on the front page in regard to statistics, which most of elgg already uses.

Please only bid if you have used elgg before and are comfortable customizing with PHP. Any extra experience with AJAX, jQuery, or anything else you can offer for beter UI would be great.
