I want a fully functioning website where I can upload weekly podcasts using wordpress as the CMS.

This project will consist initially of designing a website that will look similar (but not the same as) thisameicanlife.com. I don’t need a logo, just a nice looking WordPress template that will present the uploaded podcasts well. I’ll give more detailed descriptions of the design over PMB.

The site must have the ability to upload and display a podcast along with a picture and some text. There are some plugins for wordpress that allow for this and I’m fine if the coder wants to use those as long as they are updated regularly.

Site will be expected to work correctly in all major browsers.

I have two projects that need completed.

The first is a redesign of my Website, i would like it to reflect the similar aesthetic look of my present site, but to have a whole new platform like Joomla or similar so that I may alter content far more easily, as well as have integrated social network sharing and cross platform viewing.

The second site I would like designed would be a simple blog, preferably WordPress, to host a podcast. I would like it streamlined so the backend is simple for updating and sharing via RSS and itunes. The file size of the podcasts, and possibly future VLOGs would be up to 100 MB so WordPress will need to be modified to accept that size.
Built in Social network sharing must also be included.

I would like this project to be up and running fairly soon, and I would think this is a pretty easy project for someone with a bit of experience.

I have a WP blog with podcast posts (MP3 enclosure triggers audio player to appear).

The first 7 episodes have been posted without problems the last few months, very simple and straightforward.

I have a problem with episode 8. I save the post with the MP3 enclosure. The audio player appears within the post on the home page. But within 2-3 minutes, the enclosure gets dropped from the post and therefore the audio player disappears from the home page on refresh. On admin, when I open the post to edit it, the custom enclosure field for the MP3 file has disappeared.

I have repeated the post 20x but I can’t figure out the problem. The MP3 has been correctly FTPed to the correct location. All previous 7 episodes are working fine.

This process always works perfectly but something is wrong this time.

I have a website, lencolabs.com that I made a few years ago. Every month, I post a podcast to the podcast pages(go here: http://lencolabs.com/Podcasts) and sometimes update the newsletter (http://lencolabs.com/Newsletter). I would like to do a complete redesign of the site since it is very outdates, and it takes me hours to post one podcast. I need to modify the podcast.xml file with the new podcast information, and then type everything out in the Episode guide, etc. I decided to buy a templates (it uses WordPress) so that I can update the podcast more easily and user friendly and to make navigation better for my users. I need to adjust some metadata in the feed but I don’t know how to access/adjust the raw XML data.

Also, today the audio is not playing in iTunes which I need to correct ASAP. In the past, the podcast was playing in iTunes without a problem.

I think about 2 hours of work here.
