– iPhone Pocket Travel Guide

This is a first glance about looking for an iPhone free-lance developer for a pocket travel guide for the iPhone, and maybe other platforms later.

I am just looking for a first contact and general orientations about how this job can be done.

The travel guide now exists as a printed pocket guide of about 20 pages, with the typical text, photos and a couple of maps about a city. Really a pocket version, so what we really need is a simple and standard browsing structure, similar to the printed version, nothing else; just programming (not graphic design, nor data entry, etc.) and as you can see it’s a very simple app.

If you are interested please let me know about you and, if possible, about an orientative budget based on the description above. Then, if we reach a good feeling about the project, I will send you much more details.

I want a 5 page website written and designed on ‘pocket laptops’.

The design does not matter if its not unique, just as long as its your own work to sell on. The design of the site will take into account that it will contain external adblocks from a PPC provider like 123search, yahoo or adsense etc etc – spaces must be seamlessly made in the design for these content units.

The page structure and content is as follows:-
index/1 – what? What is a pocket laptop and how it differs from a normal pc or a notebook
2 – why? why would you want a pocket laptop
3 – when? when were pocket laptops ‘invented’
4 – advantages/disadvantages of pocket laptops
5 – major brands and sellers of pocket laptops

The site must be ready within a week, must be uniquely written and each page must have at least 500 words. The most important thing is that you mention the word ‘strawberry’ in your bid replies so I can tell whether you have actually read this brief in its entirety and understand it.

Need some help completing code for pda application.

1. Application will be used for inspectors doing on-field work using PDA provided with camera and GPRS connectivity.
2. Inspector should login to application, search a contract using Contract No. or Contract Name, select record from Grid.
3. Once contract is selected, user could take a photo using photo control. Photo file should be associated with contract.
4. For each job detail related to contract, user should input date of inspection, quantity of advance and percentage of advance should be calculated.
5. Software should allow to upload data to central repository using ftp and mark record once transferred.

I started coding the application. I need someone to complete in timely manner the project as soon as possible to present demo to the customer.
