Would like to have a simple forum there (or something like a message board where others can discuss the game), statistics, players Elo rating system etc. I’m not English therefore I should be able to add other countries, their letters and a database of words for the game and translate all the menu. So actually on the home page you would simply choose your country, register or log in – after that you could create a table and wait for the opponent or start to play with the computer. Every country should have its own statistics and players and work independently.
The players need also a chat room (like on that picture) and the system should count the score automatically. Later I would like to add a few more scrabble games where players play against the computer but with different rules – will dicuss all the details by emails.

I am already dedicated to a web developer who I have chosen to design this website but I need someone who can develop very simple games for my site. For example a game like this one: (I DO NOT NEED TO PUT AN ADVERTISEMENT BEFORE THE GAME) http://www.addictinggames.com/helicopter.html and also maybe some skill card games like solitare.
I plan to only start with about 5 games but I will require more later on. These games are easy to create I know, but here’s the tricky part. In order to play this game the player must purchase tokens. Every time a game is played it will cost 1 token. Basically I will need my token system to communicate with the game.
Every time a player plays a game they will earn points. A “Leader Board” will be displayed on the right side of the game showing the scores of all players. Each time the player plays the game their points will add up and that is the score you will see in the Leader Board. The competitions will be timed and will only last for 12 hours. When the game ends the person in 1st place will be crowned the winner and a new competition will begin all over again.
I can understand this may be confusing so I’ll give you an example:
Let’s say Andrew F. wants to play the helicopter game. He buys 100 tokens. Each time he plays the game he will be charged 1 token. Every time he plays, his score gets higher:
1st play= 512 points
2nd play=312 points
3rd play= 789 points
4th play= 943 points
…
His total score so far that would be shown in the Leader Board would be 2556 points. To win the competition his score must be the highest.
He may play as many times as he likes!
When the game is over everyone starts back at zero.

The flex project supplied in the zip file requires customization to the screen that displays sentences, the SentenceLessonBox component. We have an existing app that splits the part that displays the sentences in two, in the top half displaying text, images and sound files relating to the exercise. The current (delphi) app displays html files directly in that space, but that is not appropriate for flex. The new display component also has to do the following functions:
1. When a green play button is pressed, it should use the current sound play function to play that sound.
2. When the user clicks the blue “zoom” button a new window should pop up, as per the html file.

I’m in the process of finalising 3 seperate short flash animations that will provide a ‘read aloud’ type of function on a website. All 3 animations are based onthe same charcter/artwork and the .fla .mp3 files will be provided.

Our site’s been installed with Open-Source Flowplayer for playing flv, ie flash videos. This was all fine. But when we create access restrictions to subfolder or folder that contains all the flvs (to prevent download of the files from the folder by our site audience), then flv cannot be played and we get the following error message:
“200, Stream Not Found.NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip:’[Clip]‘http://yourdomain.com/subfoldername/nameoffile.flv”
Alternatively, we loosen those folder access permissions, and all of a sudden the flvs play successfully.
But we want both twin goals to be achieved, as we want to prevent download of flvs by our site audience, while enabling the flvs to play successfully on their PC.
Who DEFINITELY can solve the problem without betting here?

We have a html5 video that plays as the background in a page (similar to this page, but it is not flash http://womens.timberland.com). we need to synchronize the jquery actions to the play position of the video.
I believe this will require some custom java code to monitor the time of video, and triggers the jquery to show buttons at certain moments of the video.
I expect this to be fulfilled by an experienced coder or engineer. This needs to be created in such a way that it easy to use and implement. I would like that the code remain unseen when rendered by the browser.
