I need a programmer that is an expert in PHPlist http://www.phplist.com/ to install and tweak it to run optimally on my server. The goal is to tweak PHPlist to be able to send approximately 10,000 to 15,000 emails every 60 minutes so that we can send to our entire list in under two hours.

You must show that you are an expert in PHPlist.

I am using the open source script Phplist. I need a small query script (called qscript from now on) to identify email addresses that meet my criteria, within a database used by my installation of phpscript.

The qscript must be written in php and will be hosted on the same server where my PHPLIST is installed. When launched, qscript will

1) ask for my db details (user, password and database name)
2) ask for a starting and ending date
3) ask for a maximum number of mailing lists

The script will then go through the database and extract all the email addresses that were entered between the starting and ending date and that are subscribed to more than the maximum number of mailing lists.

The resulting email addresses will be presented in a download link to a csv file containing all the email addresses that were extracted.

If you are familiar with PHPscript, this should be very easy.

This project is to integrate phplist on a linux server for our customer.
Once install the programmer will need to remove all mention and copyright of phplist.com from the program. Now i want to load 10million email from a txt file and this can be done easy.

But i want that this script report us all email sent and all email refused.

The mail server will be fast and also the script will do never fail.

I have big server with 2 processors and 16 core, 24gb ram and 10gbps fiber.

I am using phplist with a the maxblogpress subscribers magnet. I just installed masblogpress onto the site. When you enter the site, the footer pop up ask for your email and name.. I enter it and press the subscribe button and should be lead to a thank you page, however… I am lead to phplist subscribe page with my name and email already entered, so I must press subscribe again… I need to fix this asap!

On my web server (shared hosting) I installed phplist 2.10.16. download FCkeditor 2.6.6. All works ok.
I would like to use CKeditor instead of FCkeditor but I have no time for .
My request :

I am tired of having to support Mailman with it’s decades old interface and setup procedures.

I want a phplist.com style clone of it.

I will post a more thorough document soon, however basically it is:

1) Take this http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/
2) Port all functionality to PHP
3) Dress it up more modern like http://www.phplist.com/

Use MySQL for the backend to store the users, lists, configuration, and all other data points that make sense. This will GREATLY simplify the installation and usage of a mailman application. There are very few options out there for this.

You will need to understand some mail headers, how to route an email from /etc/aliases to a PHP script to be processed, etc.

Please code in a procedural style (I will post coding rules soon too)

Note: Code will be BSD licensed and will be downloadable/redistributed as an open source project upon completion. I want the world to be able to use this and enhance it. Thank you.

Like I said – I will be attaching a document soon with more specifics. But downloading mailman and understanding all of it’s features is all you really need to figure out what needs to be coded. Downloading phpList to see it’s UI (much cleaner, more “modern” and web 2.0-ish) will show you the UI design I am aiming for.

I need to integrate my phplist functions into my creloaded site, so customers can easily opt-in and opt-out within the store without having to exit into /list (the phplist default subscribe and unsubscribe page. I do not use the built in newsletter with creloaded, and will redirect links to this page.
I have mailing templates already, so this is the php and html work to integrate this into the store.

Hi. I need someone to properly configure phplist on a shared server. The problem we have is that the queue always stops somewhere during the mailing. We always have to resume manually.

We tried several settings with no success. The solution is probably to setup a cron job. There’s plenty of examples on phplist website but it’s a little complicated for me.

All the details concerning server settings and limits will be discussed when the job will start.

We are using the PHPlist mailing list and all works great except for images embedded into the messages do not show up in Gmail. they show in yahoo, hotmail, outlook, but not in Gmail. I need to tweak the /lists/admin/?page=mviews&id=58 page in the admin so that it includes a column for PDMD and MARKET. These two additional fields are in the contact database.

This is basically modifying the open/view statistics code so that it includes these two additional columns. Right now the statistics just show me the email address, date sent, firstview and responsetime. With this update, I should also be able to see PDMD and MARKET as the first two columns.

I have a zencart 1.3.8 store. I also have PHPList installed on that server under the same domain. I would like to integrate the PHPList into the store in two areas:
1. In the footer, I want a text box to type in an email address, hit submit, and have it work directly with my PHPList installation
2. I want a checkbox on the checkout page where, if it is selected, it takes the email address of that buyer and puts it into my PHPList User list.

A script to automatically import (do not import if an user email already exist) phpBB members to PHPList database during phpBB registration. This is for phpBB 3.02 version.

No welcome email should be sent by phpList (not sure if this is a config or needs to be developed)

Users can’t subscribe. When new users subscribe to my PhpList, they get the onscreen message:
“Sorry, sending the email to request your confirmation failed, please click “Reload” to try again. If it still does not work, it may be because you are listed on our “Black List”, which means that you cannot receive emails from our newsletter system. In that case, please contact the administrator.”

Sometimes they show up as confirmed subscribers on the list, sometimes they are shown as unconfirmed. In either case, they never get the confirmation or welcome email. And they do not show up on the blacklist. Everything was working fine before. This seemed to start all of a sudden.
