I need a programmer to develop a spam removal script for PHP Link Directory free version 2.1.2 . I would like this script to run automatically each time links are approved which I also have set up to run automatically. I would like this script to remove spam based on a list of key words. I would like the ability to update these keywords regularly in one spot. For example…I have 25 sites with the script. The script calls up one site to pull the keywords from. I only want to have to update that one list rather than having to update 25 sites individually.

I would also like to have this script automatically add the IP address of the person than submitted the spam links added to the blocked IP list (IP Deny Manager in Cpanel) if it is possible.

If the programmer has any other ideas on how to make this spam tool even better I am willing to listed to suggestions.

I run many PHP Link Directory 2.1.2 based directories. A problem that I have never been able to solve is the extreme load these directories place on a server.

These directories seem to get added to auto submitters and the MYSQL get’s hammered to the point that it causes extremely high server loads.

I have made adjustments to my servers to handle this load but I’d like to find a programmer that can make changes to the actual script to prevent these high loads. With only 100-150 Unique Visitors per day there is no way that a properly written script should cause these high loads.

The winning bidder should download the free PHPLD 2.1.2 script and examine it completely to understand how it works with the database. I have 50 live directories that are placing a significant load on a server right now. I would like to implement your fixes onto these directories and see a significant load drop. Whatever fixes are done should not effect the ultimate performance of the site as far as accepting links are concerned. It seems to me the handling of the links when they are sent to the database is the issue but I may be wrong.

I will provide a sample of the basic layout I am looking for. I would like all rights to these templates with a link to my website at the bottom which may not be removed by those using the template. I would like to use the phpbb signup/login to also login into wpress and phplinkdirectory.

In wordpress users should be able to comment on blog posts and their username/url should be automaticly pulled from the dbase and inserted into the wordpress comment fields and if they submit a request though the contact page it should include their username.

In link directory they should be able to rate/comment on links. Alternativley I would like users to be able to login with openid for all three (phpbb/wpress/phpld) and only login once to access all services. Ie – they log into the phplink directory and can make posts in the forum.

I need someone who is familiar with PHP Link Directory (I’m using version 3.4) and who can scrub the data for my directory. I have about 26K records (currently in csv file) but many have duplicate content except for one field (example… 5 listings for X company but all data is exactly the same except email address). I want to scrub so there is only 1 unique record per business so the directory does not have a bunch of duplicates.

I am looking for someone who knows PHPLD and has done updates with ver 3.3 and Mod additions before.I want to add the Additional Payment Plans Mod from http://blog.rakcha.com/2007/07/04/phpld-additional-payment-plans/ .

The code they point out is not exactly the same and I would rather pay a bit to make sure its done right. We are upgrading the site from PHPLD 3.2 to PHPLD 3.3 and would like the mod inserted into the Dev site before making it live and replacing the old site.

To customize a PHP Link Directory so that:
1. A link owner can open his own account and create his own “Detailed Page” which means attractively formatted text and photos. There needs to be a contact form included in each contact page.
In his Account Area the link owner needs to be able to view how many hits his listing has received and a detailed history of the people who filled in the form.
2. A mailing list manager that is capable of:
(a) Mailing all the Link Owners and selected Link Owners (perhaps select by category or alphabetically or by check-boxes from list)
(b) Mailing to the subscribers of a newsletter.
