Upgrade working forum version 3.01. in pt_br language to current version 3.0.8
Upgrade appears to be done manually. Likely because previous upgrade (see previous project) might have made non standard changes to the database to fix language character problems.

We have a phpBB forum from a long time ago version 2.0.21 and we would like a programmer to upgrade it to the latest version phpBB 3.0.8

We are after a programmer that can create a form to upload database information into a phpbb forum.Will need 5 fields and additionally each uploaded form will need to have a poll attached to it with 6 options that never expire and only allow single voting from each registered member.

My 3.0.4 phpbb forum has a lot of issues. I had a cache issue a few months back and it was supposed to be fixed by a programmer, but I was getting blank pages in certain admin sections. I did not realize in time to get the programmer to fix it. So a couple weeks ago I tried to update the forum to the latest 3.0.6 version and it messed up more than it fixed, so I reverted back to the previous version… or I thought I did. Not sure, but still having issues. Blank pages in certain sections of admin. I get them if I try to move or create topics. Then yesterday I had a user that gets the no forum message after logging in. I logged in as that user and saw the same thing, but I can view things as admin. People are posting, so I know that it isn’t everyone. I checked her user settings and they were fine. I have no idea what is going on.

I think what may?? need to be done is a fresh 3.0.6 install done, my custom style updated with the 3.0.6 changes and the new SEO mod installed. The person that does this will need to save all topics and users, as I have had this forum for many years.

I’m looking for forum integration PHPBB with my website.
I want user to use the same username and passwords for both the forum and the website(php). My website login system will be the one to be used. I already have a DB and I would like users to be able to connect to PHPBB. All new users that register, will do so on my website as well. No registration in PHPBB(we can easily deactivate sign ups in phpbb)

We currently have a phpBB install with an ad structure written in Django. The problem with this is every time we update phpBB it breaks Django and the ad structure breaks and has to be re-written.

Here is how the current setup works. (can be seen at http://forums.leoaffairs.com/)

Advertisers can place their ads on the main forum page, or if they want they can advertise only in cities of their choosing. (sub-forums)

They can also log in and see their views and click-throughs, They can also change their ad as long as it fits their pre-purchased size. (if they bought a 120×200 they can only replace that img with another 120×200)

The forum changes weekly as new departments are added so the ad structure would need to be able to change dynamically as the forum grows.

The ads also rotate their spots on the displayed page on each refresh so that each advertiser gets their time at the top of the forum.

We need a phpBB template based on our site existing design. We have the design file in PSD, you “only” have to make a phpBB template from it.

Move PHPBB forum to a new domain name.
Old server: FTP, phpmyadmin
New server (and new domain) : FTP, phpmyadmin, SSH, cpanel
MySQL db is big.

No deposit for this project, once job is done I’ll pay you.

Need someone to:

1) Install VBulletin forum software in a new directory on my website, i.e. – newdirectory/.

– Needs to be private, only signup is through API (see #3 below) and only those logged in can view the forum.

– Since the forum will be private, need to have the VBulletin script hacked to allow for the RSS2 feed option to display all posts with the exception of password protected posts. Additionally, script will need to display only a portion of the first post instead of the complete post.

– create bb code to embed youtube videos and videos hosted on a private server.

2) Import forum and users from current phpBB forum, i.e. – olddirectory/, to VBulletin forum software.

– Include attachments and avatars.

– Create/modify .htaccess in olddirectory/ to allows visitors from VBulletin (newdirectory/). Only want people who are clicking links inside the new forum to be able to access the old forum.

3) Integrate signup through Nanacast (http://www.nanacast.com) to prompt for username/password and pass that information to VBulletin.

– Nanacast provides an outgoing API that POSTs variables to a receiving script. Create a receiving script that takes the username/password anc creates a user with that username/password. Additionally, this receiving script should log all api calls to a database (see next).

– Create a password protected page that displays all nanacast api calls, will need to setup a database that logs nanacast api calls and a script that displays results in reverse chronological order.

I have two issues that need to be done. I am looking for something that is pretty small and probably quick for many of you. I have a website that has a phpBB Forum and it is an older version of it. The first thing that I am looking for is upgrading the forum to the latest version of phpBB Forum without losing any of the current entries that I already have in the current forum. The second thing is that my current forum is being hacked so easily by porn sites and I cannot stop them. I even made the forum password protected and they are still able to add users to the user list which takes up too much time for me to delete them one by one. I am not sure if I upgrade to the latest version and that would take care of this issue. If so, then fine, otherwise, I need someone to help me make it harder to hack into. If that is too complicated, then I need someone to show me a way where I can delete multiple users from the DB and in a quick and easy way.

So here are the requirements:

1- Backup the Database of the current forum so that the data is not lost and can be recovered

2- Download the latest version of the phpBB Forum board

3- Upgrade the current forum to the latest forum version

4- Re-import the data from the backed up database to the latest version of the forum

5- Add a way to make it harder for porn sites to hack and post into my forum especially if I make my forum not password protected.

6- Create a method or show me a way to be able to delete multiple registered users from the database in an easy way.

have errors with portal index when setup the style .

will not take 15 mints to inter the codes on the right place,
need to modify tow files only

Serious programmer only…no time to waste and you must have demos to show me.

I have a relatively new phpbb forum set up and I need it re-structured to include new categories and merge current ones without losing posts. I also want the formatting changed slightly.

I just do not have the time to learn how to do it all.

This should be easy, quick, and straight forward for anyone who knows phpbb. Please do not bid if you do not have experience with phpbb.
