I am taking over a site to do a little revamp work. The site was created with php, html a few flash designs as well. Also I have noticed they have used the service of Joomla. The site has too many duplicated links going on, in other words a context link on the side, on the upper left on the upper right, drop downs, mouse over’s etc, plus it has may frames created where they’re should not be. I just want to remove some of them and make this as simple as possible. After viewing the source code and looking on the hosting site I am not able to see the actual index file for this site. As I have a feeling the creator didn’t organize the site well. This is making the revamp process challenging. Any ideas or assistance on how to battle this would be great.

What I am hiring a programmer for right now is for the site http://www.pinkyarcade.com . There is currently a test site on http://test.pinkyarcade.com/ . As you can see, the “TEST” site has a totally different layout and structure.

What has happened is that I had recently had the whole script re-done from scratch to my expectations, but because of the lack of English from the other party, it has taken over 2 months for this process.

List of what I need:

1. I need the “TEST” site to replace the “LIVE” site with the modified script, but without replacing the database, swf game files, and thumbnails. I simply made an edit in the new script config file to use my original database.

2. The movement of the script would need to be quick and 100% successful with your full support. You will be given access to the FTP to gain a look at all the structures.

3. A lot of alignment issues are needed to be fixed including new modifications. I will mention these after the whole site has been moved.

4. Some designing and graphics may be needed, so you must have a sense of style to know what color matches what and where.

5. I am interested in someone that can stay with my timezone (PACIFIC STANDARD TIME) because the last programmer I had required me to come online late at night (11pm or 12am).

6. Full support from the chosen programmer, which must include instant messaging (AIM,MSN,YAHOO,SKYPE,or GTALK).

7. *IMPORTANT* – The re-done script may have errors and problems, so I would like the chosen programmer to inspect everything and correct any problems.

Payment (PAYPAL ONLY!) will be given upon completion of this whole project, which I am hoping for under 1 week time.
