Get a Freelance Job

Basically the project will involve taking a photo shop mock up of a website and writing the code to get the simple site up and running that will consist of around about 5 pages.

I need a small personal website (flash or not doesn’t matter. the main requirement – it should look unique) with 4-5 pages.
Each page should contain 5 links to the pages within the website.
Gallery page should be laid out in a way that allowing me place the text description under each picture/video> I should have ability to link the vido/pivtures in sites’ gallery to youtube and picassa/photobacket etc.
The pictures which will be hosted on my server and represented in the site’s gallery should be expandable with the gallerycreator any other good tool.
I should be able to quickly manage the content of the site with the most easy to use CMS system (Joomla, MAmabo, PHPnuke, etc), please give me a choice I am not sure which system is the best-quicklysimply usable.
I know some DHTML,HTML,javascript and made couple of sites myself for fun (http://mywebdesignclass.gofreeserve.com/index.php?p=1_3_Case-Projects), but do not have a time to build good site for myself.

I have domain and hosting available.

Please let me know the cost and time frame.

This is fixed cost project. (max $50)
Create a simple personal website but nice looking. It must have the following features:

Ability to upload any kind of files for storage on the server in any folder or subfolder created by the website owner using the built-in web interface for creating/renaming/deleting folders(not ftp or webadmin or winscp or anything like that).
So this is kind of online storage vault.
The owner can tell a password to his friends to access or upload files on the website only in those folders chosen by the owner. This password is not the same password as that of the owner who has admin rights.

Of course if the files are of viewable types such as PDF or HTML files, the user is able to view the file on the website. There is no requirement for the files to be editable in order to keep things simple.

If the file is MP3 music media file then clicking on it should bring on an MP3 player to play the file within the website (listen to music).

In order to keep things simple, there is no requirement for editing the files within website.

This personal website would be hosted on a free hosting service which means of course there would be storage/bandwidth limitations and that is fine. It would not be hosted on its domain but on a free subdomain
such as mywebsite.hostprovider.com

Ideally the solution should be based on Java but if this is not possible then PHP or .net may also be considered. But in any case it should use existing free gadgets or social networking app such as mp3 player or online storage vault gadget. It should not require writing new programs but customizations or configurations changes. It is OK these gadgets can be based on in any programming language.

The owner should be able to modify or update the web pages on this personal website.

It would be best if the solution is based on Google App Engine and Google Apps using Java and hosted on Google App Engine Cloud. If this is not possible other alternatives would be considered.

Channelme.tv is now booting us off on another site. I do not like the template selection or the advertisements they will make me run. I am looking for a site with the look of www.epicfu.com and I would like some of my www.ch409.tv look too. (Disco ball and title “What in the World?) I am looking for someone that can give that 70′s feel with today’s style. I would like to load HD videos to my site though. I need a simple upload HD video solution for my site too.

This is a non-commercial website. I am just looking for a great place to post my travels and opinions in video.

Bought a simple website template. Want to put it up on my personal webspace. I tried to do it myself but am not versed well enough with html etc. I want it to work like a blog, such as eblogger, something simple to work with. I tried to have eblogger point to my website and even do it that way, but again, I couldn’t do it myself. I’d like it to have a photo gallery. My web space provider has a free one and that would be good enough. And I’d also like to have a chat feature that family members could sign into and we could all chat together, something that’s already coded so you wouldn’t have to start from scratch. Time frame for completion: One week.

Not sure which boxes to check with regard to job type, so I am just going to check the General Programming box.
