I would like a script that I would install on my domain…which would would allow me to access it via the browser….and paste in the paths to the files I want to change their file permission like this:

I’m having issues with Facebook permissions for my app … the request for email permissions is being listed on a different page now than usual on Facebook … it should be on the ‘requested permissions’ page, but now there is another page that is showing up before that which says you need to provide email in order to log in … I want all of the permissions appearing on the same page within the Facebook dialog if possible.

My client’s server needs Php upgrades and also needs setting of folder permissions so that files are accessible through web. More detail in PMB.

Hello, I have an article directory that’s based on WordPress. We recently automatically upgraded the WordPress installation to 3.2.1 but this appears to have caused an incompatibility issue with the installed plugins. The incompatibility issue locked us out of the admin login and whenever someone tries to log in as admin, the following message appears:

“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”

I need someone to restore access to the admin section. Access will be given to the Parallels Infrastructure Management panel for the VPS that hosts the site. Thanks.

Be able to have a thread that only myself/client
can view based on permissions set.

Have another thread that myself/team can view.

I can see both but only client will see their thread
and no other threads (eg; for other clients or team threads)

Team can only view team threads (not client thread)

I hope this illustration makes sense.

I have a membership driven website that allows users to create profiles and have access to other features of the site. Currently after users sign up they are sent to the user interface. When users try to do anything else from that point (edit profile, etc..) they are redirected to the subscription page.

I’m running Civicrm 2.2.9 and Drupal 6.11. I’m getting some weird errors, that seem to be related to permissions and/or a recent domain name change. When I log in as admin, I can’t access any components to enable them in the “enable components” section of CiviCRM. I also get a Access denied error when trying to go to a contribution page. Also, I have given myself full permissions to control civicrm in Drupal permissions, but I’m not sure this is the problem b/c this wasn’t happening before. I recently changed the domain name of the site, and followed instructions in the Civicrm Wiki to do so. Not sure what is happening.

Ok my problem started when i moved servers. My joomla site is unable to write to the configuration file with and without joomla’s ftp layer enabled. My other site also complained about permissions after running a few test i came to the conclusion that its a problem with how php is being ran.

I’ve setup virtualmin control panel with a LAMP stack on a centos 5.2 distro.
I can’t get the permissions right. From what i’ve read my php scripts aren’t able to write to files or ftp because php is running as mod_php so instead should be running as mod_fcgid with suEXEC. Both mod_fcgid and suEXEC are installed. I just need my virtual servers to be configured to use them and also for the virtualmin settings to be adjusted so that any future virtual servers automatically use them.

This is from my own accessment. It may be best to check out the server setup or whatever and determine why my php scripts can’t write to files or use ftp. My user has sudo access, i have root access as well but i am reluctant to letting anyone use root. Only if absolutely necessary

I have a Drupal 6 installation and I have set up multiple roles which have editing privileges.

I have everything configured the way I want and everything is working very well except that I only want the “Manager” role to be able to edit the taxonomy when editing a revision. For all other roles, I want to make the Taxonomy selection read only. Here’s a screenshot:

The “Authorized Editors” is a taxonomy term.

If the logged in user has the role of “Manager” or is the site administrator, they should be able to select multiple authorized editors. Otherwise, if the current user has the ability to edit the page, they should not be able to change the authorized editors taxonomy selection.

Please specify if you will hard-code the fix or if it will have a permissions setting in the user permissions admin area. I prefer a permissions setting so I can allow or disallow the ability to change authorized editors as needed.

Also specify if you will block all taxonomy changes or just the “authorized editors” taxonomy.

I need to get this done ASAP. Please specify when you can have it done.

I will need for you to create this fix on your server then send me the files and/or instructions. No FTP or Drupal admin access will be given on this project.

I have a Drupal 6 installation with multiple roles defined.

One of the roles is called Manager. This is not the site administrator, only a user with elevated privileges like viewing and editing user accounts.

I want the Manager to be able to go into the user profile editing screen and assign roles to other users just like the site administrator can.

The only way I can let the Manager have this ability is to give them permission to administer permissions, which I don’t want to do.

I need someone to figure out how to configure this or provide a cusomization which will allow one role (Manager) to administer roles of other users without giving away the ability to administer permissions.

This needs to be done in the next 10 hours.

Must support username/password authentication features, and other permissions should be able to be set by users.

IP Address- A feature should be created that there can only be 1 username per ip address. This feature will prevent from people creating multiple usernames and cheating by getting free wins. I need a joomla expert who knows how to get around this “nobody” permissions. I am simple trying to up load images thru FTP but there is a permissions issue. I am a intermediate web programmer but need help with this issue. This will lead to more work. My hosting company cannot do anything for me but here is what they emailed me…

As we can see folio_plazza template has been uploaded using php. PHP is working with nobody user permissions that is why directory with all content owned by nobody and can’t be changed using FTP.

I need ssh permissions changes … and password changed Linux server with plesk control panel , I permissions issues are making it hard for my joomla site to run correctly..

I’d an application for Mac computers which will make a report, listing all share points and the users or groups with permissions for those shares.

For example; if I’ve two Samba share points (e.g., “Shared docs” & “Shared videos”); I’d like a report listing those to share points, the users/groups who have access to them, and what permissions each user/group has.

Report should be ported to HTML or PDF. It should also have the option to group the report by users/groups instead of by the share points. So instead of listing each share point, it would list each user/group and the share points they have permissions for.

Fully Customizable User Profile- Like a myspace profile type of thing! Where users can add/edit or delete pages to their profile, have a custom background, music player, video player, blog (add/edit or delete), top ten friends, Xbox PSN and Wii code intergrated into the script like have the gamercard showing Also members can create their own email with my site like

Each user has XP points they get from wins and losses.

User Note System- This feature should be under the control panel. It is basically like a transcript. if a user cheats an arena admin can go and submit a note on the user from the control panel, or if the user is hired onto staff a note will be added on his username, if the user is banned on an arena a note should be added on his username. The purpose of it is so that we can know the past actions of every user.

Fully Customizable Team Profile- Every team will have their own profile so I want to have fully customizable pages (like the profile where you can add, edit, or delete), team roster, Matches, challenges. Each team has xp points like shown and this will also go to the member profile!

I would also like members to be able to apply for teams, so when you visit a team’s profile page there will be a apply button. Ladders: I want ladders to have a Platform and Sub groups like Gamebattles! So that I can add lets say Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii! Those are platforms. And then I can have sub groups so it would have a drop down list and listing the games! And each game has its own ladder! All of this I can control from the admin panel! Also playoffs like the top 120 will be able to be eligible for playoffs! Also make it where when the edit, add, or create a team each member as to wait 12 hours before playing matches. i want the ladders in the game like call of duty 4 for example to have it like where the singles has ladders inside the singles ladders!

Blind Match Finder- When a user submits his match on the match finder his team name should not show up so the opponent does not know what level he is or record he has.

Blind Skrim Finder- When a user submits his match on the Skrim finder his team name should not show up so the opponent does not know what level he is or record he has. This will not count on any sort of stats. This is a feature for teams can practice against other teams. Basically the same as the match finder just doesn’t count on the stats.

Store: I want a store that is integrated with paypal. So this store can have credits and the credits are transferred to the users account! And make it so that they can also send credits to other profiles! And I can add other things to it! Like mlgpro.com/store!

Tournaments: Exactly like gamebattles. So members can pay credits to enter!

Ticket System: This is for basic support! I have power in the admin panel and people can create a new ticket and we can reply as well as for the member! I also want to add my own fields in this one so make it customizable in the admin panel.

Staff: I want a staff page for each game! And one for the main site! (For management) like gamebattles!

Challenge System: I want the challenge sytem so I can add it to each ladder! And I can add, edit, or delete challenge fields!

Match Systems: I want each member to be able to report both a win and lost sytem! Also a match finder like gamebattles.com is good also! A feature similar to the ip addresses. If Team A sends a challange with ip address: 12345 and Team B accepts the challange with ip address: 12345 than a message should come up saying that they have attempted to give/receive free wins, and a ticket should be automatically submited by the computer for the admins to review the match and make sure it was a free win.

Leaderboards: I want a leaderboard for users like XP and teams!

FAQ: I want a section for a FAQ! So members can get help faster!

vBulletin Integration: I have a vbulletin forum script! I want it fully bridged! I can provide the script if needed!

Admin Panel: I want to be able to edit everything to the admin panel! I want to be able to create, edit, or delete staff and be able to give them specific permissions! And i want them to be ad to a specific game! I want it like a CMS. So I can FULLY edit everything!

IP Address- A feature should be created that there can only be 1 username per ip address. This feature will prevent from people creating multiple usernames and cheating by getting free wins. Only downside is if a user has a brother living in the same household they have to share usernames, so i suggest maybe 2 usernames per ip address.

I have a quick and easy project for someone who knows what they’re doing.
I have 2 wp sites using Remix 2.0 theme. Both hosted on fatcow.com

My problems:

1- Password protected pages (2 of them) – are not working when password is entered. View pages at:

This occurred after updating the site URLS – and permalinks couldn’t update .htacess – I had to do it manually – so i think it’s a permissions issue.

2- Sidebar widgets of dynamic content for amazon.com, clickbank, and adwords are not longer working. May have something to do with WP-supercache plugin or permissions?

3 – I need permissions corrected so they are right, site works and is protected.

There are no changes to content. I need this done ASAP, hopefully TODAY and will pay immediately through scriptlance.

Ideally, we would like to continue working with whoever does this. Our project:

This is going to be a 2D chat, all artwork provided, using mainly flash and JavaScript to have the avatars in sync with the actual chat engine. We also need HTML, CCS, skill with data basing, etc.

There will be 3 levels of chat “administration”. Each level will be one separate group, with different sets of permissions. Databases will be needed, for each separate group. Permissions will be things such as IP banning from the chat (not the homepage) as well as an in-chat ban (where users will be banned to one specific area of the chat…a sort of “time out”), “kick” options such as removing a user from the entire chat, removing a user from one specific area (one-time only), etc. More details on permissions will be given at a later time.

These should shed some light on the basic idea of what we are looking for in a graphical chat. Right now I’m just looking for a basic skeleton; have the chat work and all graphics to be in place. No difficult ideas will be implemented early on; these will be added in later after we get the basic stuff running smoothly.

Please pay specific attention to the overall look of the the link I provided; there are several “rooms” your avatar can visit…there are several “poses” your avatar can change into. We will be allowing users to eventually upload their own rooms and poses to use in-chat, so an “uploader” will be needed.

Also, each avatar is “tricolored”, meaning that users can change the color of their character as they please. I will be implementing this as well.
