Bug Fixes On Html Php Affiliate Marketing Website

February 12th, 2012 Comments off

I have some bugs in my “Contact” form. The script is originally written to use PERL – but I need the page coded to be PHP sendmail.

Our “Report A Bug” feature on the http://networkmarketingvt.com/contact.php has a bug :)

All I get sent to me is a blank email when a site visitor submits – nothing at all in it. (I think it’s a PERL issue – that needs to be changed to PHP sendmail.)

And the email templates that are sent out when new affiliates join need to be changed. I can change/edit …

The site will have about 10 pages.

The code will run queries against local MYSQL DB as well as external APIS (e.g. pricegrabber.com , Amazon.c…

Perl Image Caching Fix

February 8th, 2012 Comments off

Hi

I have a problem with images loaded via a perl script not caching in the browser. I want the images to get cached by visitors.

If you use a tool to track your bandwidth (such as ShaPlus) you will see that if you view this image: http://www.scriptlance.com/apple.jpg
and reload the page several times, it will NOT download the image again (it’s in your browser cache now).

BUT if you view it here: http://www.scriptlance.com/image_cache_test.pl

The user can input a string, and then a script will check to see if the string is a palindrome or not, displaying the result to the user on another page (include the original string that they input in the displayed output). You should disregard the case of letters, as well as spaces and any punctuation symbols in the sentence (use Perl string routines to deal with…

Perl To Php Api Conversion

October 26th, 2011 Comments off

Hi

I want to hire a new programmer to help create the ScriptLance API that will be used by other developers to interact with our backend.

We’ve started work on a Perl version. Only basic public actions (view projects, users, reviews, portfolios, etc) with output in XML and JSON. Now we would rather build the rest of the API in PHP.

I need someone to convert to PHP the approx 1500 lines of Perl code we already have (Perl code available upon request in PMB). I want good, efficient, well commented, organized coding. Your code will be used as a base for all future API code, so it must be good.

Please bid for this PHP conversion, but also provide us with your hourly rate for additional PHP coding work on the API, including authorization and integration with OAuth (already installed on server). If this project goes well we will hire you to create more API scripts and consult on the API design.

We want someone familiar with APIs. Please tell us about other API work you have done.

Thank you
-Rene Trescases

Perl Script – Look For Word – Move Files

October 25th, 2011 Comments off

Hello,

I need a perl script to run on a Linux box (Ubuntu) that can do this:

1. Scan this folder /DMDS/1.Share for all *id files

2. Look within each *id file for a word

That word should be something I should be able to set in a configuration file.

For example a word it should look for: DMDS-WWW-NCK

3. If that word is found it should move that file to: /DMDS/2.Send-this/

That file will have a filename of %year%-%month%-%day%-%hour%-%minute%-%second%.id

Then also a *rar and a *mvg file exists with the exact same name except the extension

Perl Programmer Needed

October 22nd, 2011 Comments off

I need a Perl Programmer to execute the following tasks on my website bulk.fm

Note: I am not experienced in actually writing code so I do believe that some of these problems might need some CSS work so if you have the ability to write CSS that will be looked on very highly.

-A log in bar needs to be placed in the top right hand corner, where users can sign in and out and also be able to access a Forgot your Password? Like beneath the bar for entering password information

-When using Internet Explorer, the tabs Upload File, Flash Upload, and Remote Upload are white when selected instead of green. This feature defiantly works on the Firefox browser, but defiantly not Internet Explorer

-The TOS button, should be changed to Terms of Service and the link does not lead to our pages Terms of Service, which must be fixed

-On the bottom of the homepage there is a Site Map which under it has a link named Premium Services, but the link is repeated under Help and Support and this needs to be changed to Member Privileges, the contents of said page will be added on a future date

-When shrinking the window on any browser or mobile device the entire design of the page does not load.

Depending on how well this project goes and how I feel we do business, we could definitely use a good Perl Programmer in the future.

-Bulk.fm
