Hi,
I need a simple perl script that will login to a popular social networking site search for users based on geo location and then send those users a simple message.
If you have experience with stuff like this or need clarification, please let me know.
We have an existing database which contains customer data.
We are looking for someone who can write us a perl / php script which will look in the table “isc_orders” at the “orddate” field and “orderid” field.
So, we will call the script from the browser, for example – www.oursite.com/yourscript.php
It will bring up a simple form, which will have a start date, end date and generate button.
We will input a start date and end date to search between. The database has the dates in a stran…

Write a webpage called palindrome.html which will test strings (which may or may not include numbers) to see if they are palindromes. The user can input a string, and then a script will check to see if the string is a palindrome or not, displaying the result to the user on another page (include the original string that they input in the displayed output). You should disregard the case of letters, as well as spaces and any punctuation symbols in the sentence (use Perl string routines to deal with…
I have an already made Perl script that parses a specifically formatted HTML document. It works exactly how I need it to. However, I now have a different HTML document that I will need to parse. There is only one difference in the fields that is pulls. It should only take a programmer about 5 minutes, but I cannot figure it out. I will send the files upon request.
This should only be a 5 -10 minutes project. I am just not skilled with perl.

I would like a Perl script written that pulls a stock quote off of Yahoo Finance or some other free finance site. The stock quote I’m using initially is HRTB.OB
It needs to accept a user defined stock symbol (specify using a variable at the top of the script).
It needs to output a modifiable string of HTML code. I would like it to initially be:
“Most recent trade: $PRICE<br>Today’s Change: $CHANGE”
This script will be integrated into the middle of a PHP web site, and should insert the text where the script is called from. I may need assistance getting the script to run on my web server. I do not wish to modify the server in any way (i.e. upgrade perl, install extra libraries, etc).
I have verified that the following script runs successfully:
#!/usr/bin/perl -wT
print “Content-type: text/htmlnn”;
print “Hello, world!n”;

Hi,
I have a perl script that needs to be fixed. The script is simple and automatically browses through all the users that are online at netlog.com. I need you to fix it so that it browses all the users online and not just the initial 60 that it searches for.
Should be a pretty easy job if you know this stuff.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
This short PERL script needs to be rewritten in PHP.
See description in included script file.

I have a Perl script on my server that is supposed to take an Excel domains.csv file with three columns marked Domain Name, Subject, and Price and be able to sort it by any one of those headings, both ascending and descending. The Domain sort works fine, but the price seems to sort in groups e.i. $1,000, $79, $500, etc., but not in true low to high or high to low order. I need to have that fixed and

Trying to get a Perl expert to update/modify some code that we have. Need to do the following.
double check regex’s to ensure it’s correct and won’t cause problems.
update code to match on multi-line items. We are having problems with our script when there is a new-line or carriage return in the file we are running a regex search against.
update code to compare 1st regex match with 2 regex match and compare them to see if they match/are the same or not. I can provide more examples of this.
This should be fairly easy for a Perl expert, we need this done ASAP before the end of the day today.
Please, also looking for a programmer we can work with on a continuous basis to update/create code for us.
Thanks,

I purchased rscript.com ‘s auction system (see features at http://www.rscript.com/features/) and have been using it for a couple of years. We recently have had a company name change and need to change the domain names. The company no longer supports the software and I’ve tried twice already to bring the software over to the new domain without success. I need some one who can quickly get this site up and running. I’m sure it’s something simple as the software works fine in my old site. It’s probably dealing with moving it onto a new domain name and some type of protection built it to ensure people don’t just give the software away. I’m looking for some one who can assisted me now as in tonight or tomorrow.

Wanting a perl script that was abandoned by a previous programmer completing, bug fixing and testing. The script is probably 65% completed and requires a strong perl coder to understand the logic and be able to take the existing code into a finished project.
Please message me for URL and further details.
Thanks,
Richard
I have a domain http://www.yourdomain.com/ where a file is downloadable from the url http://www.yourdomain.com/nameoffile.exe .
The question is: How many times that file has been downloaded from the url?
The Solution:
I need to install Perl Script to track the number of times the file is downloaded, and I insist on using the zip file appended at the bottom of this project description. Pls install this freeware called Be_Download Counter , by following the instructions on (and not other method):
http://webscripts.softpedia.com/scriptDownload/Be-Download-Counter–Download-21046.html
