Aspect Conversion

November 30th, 2009 Comments off

This project is to convert an existing Procomm Plus Aspect script application to VB6 or other easily compiled stand-alone code. The existing script is less than 2,000 lines of code and has been attached as three separate files (the *.was and *.inc files) which can be easily read with any text editor. In addition, a flow chart has been attached to show the application logic and how the three files relate.

The script drives a terminal emulation program (Procomm Plus) to emulate a user interacting with a remote server via a modem connection. Arguments are passed to this script from an Access/VB6 application and the results of the script is the download and storage of a *.txt file for subsequent processing by the Access/VB6 application.

The scripts use very basic modem control commands to dial up a remote server’s modem. Once connected, the script does nothing more than respond to prompts from the remote server. The script walks through a series of prompts that ultimately direct the remote system to send system configuration information that is then written to local text files.

As the flow chart shows, the script is divided up into three pieces: ALIPro.was, SWAccess.inc, DLNortel.inc. ALIPro.was simply assigns variables to the calling application’s arguments and sets up Procomm Plus to transmit and receive data via a modem. The SwAccess.inc code is designed specifically to log into a Nortel PBX (the remote server) via various security or access appliances (some of which have not been used in years). The DLNortel.inc (Download Nortel) code is written specifically to download configuration information about various services provided by the PBX. Each of these downloads are accessed via various program calls within the PBX called Loads; hence LD 20, LD 21, LD 23. Each of these Loads prompts the user (this application) with a specific pneumonic to which the user must respond. This dialog continues to the point when the script opens a local capture file. The next response sent to the PBX results in a stream of configuration information that is then written (or

Virtual Pbx Voicemail System

October 7th, 2009 Comments off

Hi,

I’m looking to offer an additional service to my hosting customers. This service is basically a simple virtual PBX system. I’m not necessarily looking for a custom design project, I would be happy to pay someone to connect all the dots for me.

So, if there are companies or products that offer these systems in a package, I’ll pay you for your experience and time to help me out.

Description of my project:
—————————————-
Customer gets their own 800 number, they can designate extensions and phone numbers to forward to based on those extensions. Customer can have voicemails emailed to them or have a fax emailed to them.

For an idea of what I’m looking for, go to Got V Mail dot com

Cisco 3725 Sbc Config

September 22nd, 2009 Comments off

Need a certified cisco programmer to configure a 3725 as a SBC for a SIP PBX.
Pretty straight forward, one public IP, one private IP for the PBX.
Need the device to block all other traffic but SIP/RTP.

Prefer someone who is also familiar with sipxecs which is the PBX that we’re using.

Please ask questions before bidding because almost every bid that
ever comes in is a low ball to get attention then it goes up.

Require a fixed IP from you in order to give you access.

Thanks.

If you have any questions contact me in PMB.

Nortel Mics Pbx & Voip Integr.

May 27th, 2009 Comments off

We are looking to hire some staff overseas (3 people) and need to offer a way to transfer calls to them as a “virtual extension” off of our current PBX as if they were in the next room. Pls present a suitable solution and how much to install it.

Here are the details:

Current equipment:
- Nortel MICS with an incoming digital T1 bringing in calls to our toll free 800 numbers.

- Caller ID data is fed to our desktop PCs via the Nortel SMDR. This integration provides a screen pop at each agents station so that they can view customer information before picking up the phone. This is very important to keep.

- Each extension has a Nortel T7316e that provides line appearances for each of the ringing calls.

- Current internet connection is Comcast Workplace. Typical speed is 18 mg down, 2.5 mg up.

What we want:

- we want to keep the T1 as a redundant connection so that we can have a back up to switch the 800 numbers to in case the VoiP service goes down.

- we want to remote overseas agent to be able to have a T7316e handset on their desk that we can transfer calls to as an extension on our Nortel MICS PBX.

- simultaneous ringing of all calls between the home office and the remote extension

- we need a no cost or very low cost solution for VoiP minutes for both our 800 incoming calls and calls transferred to the remote extensions (perhaps a MagicJack is part of the solution ?)

- we want a reliable and high quality voice connection.

We look forward to your proposal and cost to implement.

Thanks
