Oscommerce Paypal Pro Module

October 2nd, 2009 Comments off

I have an online store using the oscommerce script. Everything is installed on the dedicated server and running. I signed up for the PayPal Website Payments Pro and got the Paypal merchant account.

In oscommerce admin panel i have payment modules. Two of them are installed:

PayPal Website Payment Pro (US) Direct Payments
PayPal Website Payments Pro U.S.

I have tried both but it doesnt seem to work for me.

I have the API Username, Password and Signature from PayPal, and verified it with them on the phone that i got everything right.

When i try to check out on my website i get an error message saying “An error occured when we tried to contact PayPal’s servers”

I set my module to Debug Mode: True to see what it does and got an email with bunch of stuff i dont understand. It is attached.

I am looking for someone that is experienced working with oscommerce and can get solve this problem.

Paypal Website Payments Pro

Are you PHP and PayPal’s Website Payments Pro Expert?

If so, I want to hire you!

I am looking for a script that will integrate with PayPal’s Website Payments Pro with features such as recurring billing and one-click upsell.

Here is what I want the script to do:

- customer clicks buy button

- order page (hosted on my domain) sells them product for $6.99, and then $19.99 per month recurring (with first 30 days free)

- they fill out their order info including credit card (they will NOT leave my site. PayPal’s Website Payments Pro allows this)

- Order is sent & processed by PayPal’s Website Payments Pro

- After they submit the order they are instantly presented with an upsell option. For example for another $50 product. Customer clicks Yes or No Button.

- No Button does nothing more but takes them to original order download page

- Yes button sends new $50 order to PayPal’s Website Payments Pro to be processed WITHOUT requiring the customer to enter in ANY order details again as the script remembered their order details. They are then returned to a download page.

That’s it!

IMPORTANT:

- Script will be written in PHP for my Linux server

- I get Full source code & full rights to this script upon completion

Here are some important qualities I am looking for in my programmer:

- You MUST offer good communication. You must be available via Instant Messenger and respond to emails in a timely fashion.

- You MUST have excellent English speaking/typing skills.

- You MUST have excellent ScripLance feedback.

- I ONLY work with individuals. Outsourcing firms & companies please don’t waste your time bidding.

- I am constantly over-loaded with projects and looking to work with excellent programmers. If this project goes well I am looking to build a long relationship with you.

NOTE: Best way to win this project is to PMB me with code samples showing me your skills and describing why I should pick you for this project.

I look forward to the possibility of working with you :)

Paypal Website Pro -cre Loaded

July 13th, 2009 Comments off

I have a heavily modified version of CRE Loaded 6.2, Patch 11. I would like to implement the PayPal Website Pro payment module to work in addition to the regular PayPal payment module that allows customers to send payment via email. Among the many modifications to the site is a modified single page checkout (which became a standard feature in CRE Loaded 6.3). The standard method of implementing PayPal website Pro would be to use PayPal’s API Signature. However, neither the API Signature or the API Certificate seems to work.

As such, I am looking for a programmer who can assist me in implementing the PayPal website Pro payment module without disrupting any of the existing modifications to the page. Additionally, the page should still have the basic PayPal payment module.

This project will be for a total of three (3) websites – 2 which have a modified single page checkout, and one that has the standard multi-page checkout.

Paypal Website Pro Implementat

An expert in implementation of the ‘PayPal Website Pro’ including ‘Express Checkout’ is required. You must have the proper experience to use the paypal ‘sandbox’ feature and creation of the appropriate webform necessary for its implementation.
Website owner has registered account already.

Besides the above the standard PayPal IPN must be implemented.

After successful payment transaction the user must be notified via a message to the user’s email address including the creation of a MySQL database table to the existing DB.

The cart feature is already existing.

timeframe: ASAP
