16.3) Education level – for example, in England this could be: Degree, Secondary, Higher, Other.

16.5) School/college/institution name
16.6) Qualification – e.g. GCSE, BSc. etc.

17) Any skills that can be detected from the CV – for example, Java, Sage, MS Word, Running etc.

I would expect an authenticated REST interface (written in php) that we can send CVs to. I would suggest you find a lot of different CV formats from the internet and make sure the parser can handle them. It will need to parse any format of CV sent to it so it requires a lot of intelligent pattern matching.

It needs to be able to open up the CV using Apache Tika – it can open PDFs, word and other text documents, parse the CV, and then output the parsed data into HR-XML (you should research the elements for this standard before bidding) format.

The parser also needs to be able to parse different languages, including:
dutch
chinese
hindi
japanese
german
spanish
french
russian
Brazillilan Portuguese
Malay Indonesian
Arabic
Bengali

It should be written primarily in PHP on a LAMP stack – it should be able to parse a complete CV within 1.5 seconds at the most.

I will provide a full spec to the winning bid but I expect the parser to be able to read keywords from a database, but not rely on the keywords in the database to parse the CV as the CV may not have the keywords in them. Remember, everyone writes their resume/CV differently

I would be willing to pay a deposit but the remaining of the payment would be dependent on a demonstrably working system. I would also want to inspect code at regular intervals throughout the project to ensure that the developer’s code and design quality meets my client’s needs.

I would expect the application to interact with a DB but via memcache.

Note, I do not believe this is a simple project. This project is for software engineers rather than script kiddies. Please only provide a quote if you believe you can really do this and please be realistic on your timescales.

Show me how to create a parser in aweber for a third party membership software…should be real easy if you know what you are doing…

I want a combined JavaScript and HTML script that issues a query to the Microsoft Bing API using the JSON protocol and renders the response within the Javascript. Essentially, I want the HTML to host a search box so that an end-user issues a query, is handled by the Bing API, JSON results are parsed in the embedded JavaScript, and the HTML results are returned to the user. I don’t have access to a PHP hosted server therefore XML or SOAP is NOT an option. I need a simple PHP XML parser script that can handle parsing large files (over 20MB) without PHP timeouts and memory issues.

I have looked at XMLReader and other PHP parsers available. I need a script that will parse an XML file and then save the results to a database.

Functions:
- Check to see if post already exists (check post ID number in feed) and if it exists check to see if it is updated (compare the update date field in the feed), if update date is newer than update database otherwise skip.
- Check to see if post category exists, if not create category and then add post to that category.

If this can not be run from the front end it can also be set to be run from a cron job.

This project is requiring parsing of data off http://www.betfair.com for UK Horse Racing – parsing all runners every second from advertised off time of the next race to the end of the race. Hopefully this won’t be too an expensive project, my friend advised me this will be cheap to take on, so will see what bets I have and go from there. Thank you.

Recently the website at www.oklahomacounty.org was rehauled. We had a program that worked for it. However it was a parser type and now it doesn’t work. We have a website at
www.realtybytes.net that has people waiting that were customers so we need to get this done soon.

Our current parser mimics this search on oklahomacounty.org and if you are looking at the code of the parser, you should be able to remove the option /2/ from the search query and then it should return (way too many) results.

To test the search string, if you go to the page and just select a date, (like the search string below) it will get results

It’s fairly easy work that can be done using cURL and Regex if you know the way how, although I’m open to alternatives – we just need to get the work done.

The final goal is to have a separate log for each file in the bucket.

The log should contain download times and downloaded bytes for the particular file.

For example, I have a file video1.flv on the server in /videos/ directory.
Once a day the script goes through the log files and creates a video1 log in /logs/ directory.
If the log file exists, it updates it with the latest download times and bytes downloaded.

You can use the [Amazon S3 PHP class] to download/delete/move log files on the remote S3 Bucket.

1. scrape all cities in craigslist
2. harvest all posts in Gigs, Computers
3. Scrape Title, post text
4. scrape contact information for each post
4. parse that data into the following fields, Title, Post text, Contact
5. Save that data to a folder specific to the city, then post title and date
6. needs to scrape this data with targeted delays and randomly so craigslist does not ban it
