Simple Page Editor/creater

I need a simple backend created using PHP, allowing the user to make simple changes to a website:

- The user should be able to add pictures and add/update text with each picture.

- The site will consist of 3 pages. The home page will have a listing of pictures. The second page must be setup so that the user can enter a price table, so basically some text, and the 3rd page will have contact information.

- This backend must be password protected.

- I may need to install this on multiple sites, so it must be packaged so I can do that.

- It must look appealing.

This should be very easy for someone with good PHP skills.

Asp Shopping Cart Needed

June 23rd, 2009 Comments off

I basically need the few pages that make up the shopping cart. Our web site is in traditional ASP so the coding will need to be done in .asp Here is a sample starting page with the ‘Buy Now Checkout’ button.
http://www.epier.com/BiddingForm45.asp?1932947
When you click on the ‘Buy Now Checkout’ you will see 3 pages in sequence which make up the shopping cart and checkout pages. You will need to program these pages in traditional ASP 3.0 to make them into functional shopping cart. Right now this sequense is not working. You will have these HTML pages.

I want to make clear. There is no FTP access to our files. You will need to code the HTML pages and create the necessary 2 tables, one table for BasketID and another table for items associated with BasketID to make the shopping cart work. You may need to create a bunch of test products to add and delete from the shopping cart. You will zip the files and send them to me and I will upload the files onto server to test immediately. The shopping cart as I understand it uses a combination of tables and session or cookies. I am an intermediate programmer myself so communication to make this work will flow hopefully smoothly.

You can also checkout this site that is also in traditional .asp to see how they are doing the shopping cart.
http://www.campustech.com/itemDetail.asp?ItmNo=22444109

From here you can see I am still working on the shopping cart page.
I am an intermediate programmer but need a little help since this is my first time building the shopping cart sequence. I do not know whether to create cookies or whether this can be done using sessions?

I already have the users table and the products table. From what I have been reading I will need 2 additional tables:

Baskets table which will keep track of the orders
Basket items table which will keep track of the items in each order

So the pages I will need are:
standard products page – will have add to cart
shopping cart page – will have remove item, update quantity, continue shopping link or image
checkout page

I need someone who is knowledge in the best programming practice for building shopping carts. Thank you for your assistance.

Simple Website Design and Coding Request

We are looking for a webiste to be made for a private tutoring business concept. The website will be designed according to specific requirements
and coded into a fully working site using HTML and CSS.

Requirements:

- Site will conatain 9 pages; Home, About Us, Parents Role, Fees, Testimonials, FAQ’s, Contact, Terms & Conditions, Privacy
- All pages will have a common header, main menu and footer.
- All pages will have a link in the main menu except for Terms & Conditions and Privacy which will be linked in the footer.

Site Theme:

- The site is targeted at parents looking for private tutoring for their children. The key themes of the site are education and learning.

Site Color Scheme:

- The site must look proffesional and business like but at the same time look interesting, lively, relevant and fresh.
We like the colors used at t-mobile.co.uk, paticularly the pinks, blues, grays and whites.

Site Structure:

- The site will be relatively sparse in content so we need a design that will minimise white space and excessive scroling.

- A centered box layout as found at http://www.fantasiabeauty.co.uk/ would be ideal

Header:

- A unique logo must be designed. The logo will incorporate the name of the company and a tag line. The logo must be unique and attractive
as it will potentialy be used as the official company logo and appear in letterheads and such. Simply writing the companies name in a big bold
font will not be enough. Company name and tag line will be disclosed to the winning bidder.

- The header will contain the logo and whatever other graphic and / or design elements the designer wishes to use.

Footer:

- The footer will contain copyright information and links to ‘terms & conditions’ and ‘privacy’ pages

Pages:

- Consistent styling must be applied to all the pages of the site. Custom CSS must be written for all the major html tags, such as
<h1>, <h2>, <a>, <p>, <li> etc. Sample content will be provided for all pages.

- Each page will have a different image embeded on the right side of the content, as seen on www.fantasiabeauty.co.uk.
Each image should be relevant to the page subject aswell as the overall theme of the site. Images should be nicely blended into the template
and not look like they’ve just been stuck on.

- The ‘Fees’ page will contain a <table> so all table tags should be nicely styled. A sample table will be provided.

- The ‘Contact’ page will have a contact form. This needs to be provided by the winning bidder. An off the shelf secure PHP contact form
script may be used.
The form must be styled appropriately and contain a ‘Send Email’ submit button and the following input boxes;
Name, Tel/Mobile No., Email, Message.

Additional Information:

- As you can see the site is reletavely simple. We think simple static html pages will suffice, though if you want you can use a CMS such as wordpress
or Joomla. Please specify what you intend to do in your bids.

- Everything must be properly aligned and look good on all the major browsers, i.e. IE 5+, firefox, safari, chrome and opera.

- The site code should pass W3C validation.

Deliverables:

- PSD file for the logo work
- PSD file for the website layout work
- Copies of all images used for the website
- HTML, CSS and other necessary files for deployment of website

Please provide examples of previous work with your bids. Thank you!

Coupons Website Design & Code

April 20th, 2009 Comments off

Hello,

I would like to develop a coupons related website. This should be a simple and easy project. I want to add as much details as possible to explain the project. Please don’t get scared by the length of the description. This is avoid misunderstandings latter.

The logo design is already complete. I already have a site in mind that I would like the design to be based on. The design needs to be clean code with valid CSS/XHTML (tableless design).

There are a few static pages like: How it works, FAQ, Pricing, Help, Contact Us, About Us, Testimonials, Press Coverage, Affiliate, Privacy policy, Terms of Use (may be a few other). The content will be static. These pages need to have attractive images like attractive people, people shopping, happy people etc

There is a free sample page which should capture Name, Address, Phone and email from customers and send them a pdf file. This can be done in aweber. It can be treated as static page (with some aweber code in it).

“How it works”" page will have a few illustations (drawings) on how our product works.

Pricing Page will have 3 plans that people can choose from. The pricing will have to be integrated with payment gateway – Paypal and Google checkout. Customers should have a choice to create an account or place order without creating an account. Once a payment is made, then this should be saved as order in database.

There will also be a marketing solutions section which will be dynamic. Admin should be able to create new pages under this section. For example if we want to explain how the solution works for “Real estate agents”, then admin should be able to create a page with the same layout and add content.

We will have a blog in wordpress and the design should match the main site design.

Admin features:
* Create marketing solutions page (as mentioned above)
* View list of orders from database and be able to change the order status (order change status should send an email to customer)
* Reports on number of orders, open orders, earnings etc
* Answer customer support questions.

User feature:
* Be able to login and check on status of order.
* Update profile

I am open to any suggestions on the technical platform for the website. I am ok with either a CMS solution using Joomla / Drupal etc or you can develop using php / perl / Ruby.

The project will be split into different deliverables and you will only be paid after reaching the deliverable.

1. Website design and layout in clean XHTML with matching blog design (25%)
2. Incorporate site design with content and have all graphics for static pages (25%)
3. Admin panel, Dynamic page creation, integrate payment / paypal/ google checkout (40%)
4. Upload and configure site to our server (10%)

Also to avoid many people just placing bids blindly, please include keyword “Super coupons” in your replies so that I know that you have read the requirement.

Please give me a realistic estimate of the timeline for the project and make sure you can stick to the timeline.

Thanks

Bear
