This is a brand new project with no infrastructure or design ideas. It will need to be a multi tennant design so that eachcompany can only see those results from their company or those individuals who have left their traveller route open to the public. If you choose the design language, what ever you use you need to be able to direct me to a hosting provider in Austrlia who will host the platform and let me know their prices before I will accept your proposal.

The website will need a secure login and access logging database. A master admin account needs to be available and then per country per organisation accounts should be able to be set up. These need to be registered by the master account admin.

To enter anything on the site you need to be logged in and linked to an organisation. All information entered needs to be encrypted.

As per above each organisation will need to have at least one person with admin rights for their organisation in their country to validate the person who has set up a login is part of the organisation. Admin for an organisation can be an admin for multiple countries.

The idea of the project is to be able to collect numerous addresses per person(traveller). Each traveller sets up combinations having a starting address and an ending address. The suburb of the addresses then need to be able to be linked via roads using google maps or whereis.com.au so that it can be graphically displayed. The user can modify the route through dragging the line on the route to match the route they use.

On the home page you can see all addresses in a country (defaulting to the URL entered ( eg .com – USA, .co.uk -UK, .com.au – Australia. Also on the home page you have a drop down for organisation and/or city, state and country which will then only detail the links for that organisation in that city, state or country.

Each company will also have their own default home page which will be home URL/Comapny name where on that companies information is displayed. A drop down for city, state and country which will then only detail the links for that organisation in that city, state or country.

Both people who have entered addresses and others who have not but have secure entry can go to a different screen and enter an address (this address is named the site). The engine will then search for the closest traveller to that site. Both from a starting point and on route in that organisation. If a travellers route is in the area of the site, that is 1km from the site, the email address entered by the site request is emailed with the information of the site contact and relevant entered details to the closest travellers email address and the same message is logged to their account.

A traveller can then go in and accept the site or decline. If it is declined then an email goes to the site registerer stating that the first traveller is not available and the next closest traveller is emailed and so on until an accept is acheived.

If no response is recevied by a traveller in 24 hours automatically the next closest traveller is notified.

Unique Logo Design Required

November 27th, 2009 Comments off

Looking for someone to design a unique solid logo for this organisation:

http://www.negwales.com/

National Escort Group (NEG) are a volunteer group based UK.

They work to ensure safe passage for cycle races, triathlons, marathons or any event that uses the public highway. They stop traffic to allow events, like cycle races, to pass through. They work in partnership with the police in certain regions of the UK.

Organisation use a tag line of ‘safety in sport’.

Key concepts for this logo are safety, security, accident prevention, road use, cycling, sport, risk minimisation, Great Britain, UK. Name of the organisation is national escort group but known as NEG so you can use either or both of these names.

The organisation is split into regions across the UK.

Looking for a simple but clever design, with maximum impact. It’ll need to portray exactly what the organisation does. No clip art or stock images – this needs to be a uniquely designed logo. Finished logo will be printed onto T-Shirts and graphics for motorcycles so it can’t be too detailed.

Looking for a logo similar (in terms of impact) to the ones used by:

British Cycling
Welsh Cycling
Highways Agency
Institute of Advanced Motorists
Tour of Britain
Tour de France

Designer has complete creative freedom. Any colour can be used, it can be text only or with a graphic of some sort – just hit us with some fantastic designs.

We’ll want to see what you can do before we select you, so if you bid please provide one concept design for this project – you can watermark it, make it poor quality whatever you like – just demonstrate what you can do and show you understand the requirements.

If you’re successful in your bid, we’ll be looking for a number of (in the region of 10) concepts to choose from. We’ll pic one and expect you to deliver it in Adobe Illustrator format.

We’re great to work with, very flexible, completely reliable and honest.

Mock us up 1 concept design and submit your bid.

Happy bidding!

Thanks all.

Logo For Web & Print

August 17th, 2009 Comments off

We need a logo for our client, an organisation which take care of children when their mother and father going out to work. It’s common in our country both parents have a job, meanwhile someone has to take care of the children. Sometimes grandparents do this, but often the parents bring the children to a nanny and pick them up in the evening, after work.

Attached is a PDF, containing some photo’s of the organisation. It helps you to get an idea which “look & feel” is needed. Of course, the design and colours must be appealing to children. The logo should exist of the name of the organisation (“The honey bear”) and a stylized bear. Unlike other bears, the honey bear is short and sleek, it’s the smallest member in the bear family. The honey bear is also known as “sun bear”, do a Google image search for some photos of this specie.

Make at least 4 different logo’s (not only colour or font variations), so we can present them to our client. Maybe some revisions are needed. For the mock-up’s a JPG is okay, the final version must be a vector graphic in Illustrator.

Only bid if you are a skilled designer, otherwise you waste your time. Also include a link to logos you have designed by yourself. Bids without logo portfolio have no chance. I hope you understand, in the past I received lots of bids of people who are clearly no designers.
