Business Opportunity Website

November 7th, 2009 Comments off

Hi, i require the expertise of a full website developer who can provide and develop a suitable backend and a brilliant front end to a website that i require completing.

The basis of the website is where people can register online as either an Entrepreneur, or an investor.

Entreprenour

The basic idea of the website is that entreprenours can post up there pitch for investment, the pitches will be in text, image and video so the user needs to be able to upload all of that while in the pitching stage. They also have to be able to add the level of investment they require. However during the pitching stage the user has to obviously put up limited sales figures etc…. the system then should automatically value the business.

Once the pitch has been made this goes live for the investors to see.

The entreperneur needs to be able to see how much investment they have gained, and what pitches they have made.

There should be a contact mail system in place once an investor has placed an investment for contact to begin between both partys. This should be available in both user areas.

Now onto the investor. The investor should be able to search through opportunities and place an investment, once the investment has been placed it needs to show up in that users portfolio. from which the investor can buy or sell extra investment from other investors.

The system requires a deposit and withdraw cash system in place to allow investment to change accounts. However all investments are to go into a holding area and must not be able to be withdrawn by the entrepreneur until all investment has been reached.

Any more questions please send me mail.

thanks

Writer – Salary & Profit Share

June 2nd, 2009 Comments off

Hello everyone,
My name is Jonathan Paul :)

Thanks for taking time to read this job description …

Before we start, please check my Scriptlance feedback. I have posted
150+ tasks at Scriptlance, and I received 10/10 feedback every time.
I’m a fair webmaster, and I pay quickly without any issues.

I would like to hire a writer …

… preferably someone who knows how to use WordPress, and who would
be able to upload content into a private membership site. You will be
my first full-time writer, and this is an opportunity of a lifetime.

I am offering you a position as a full-time writer, who will also
earn a serious profit share on my future membership sales. I have a
collection of products, and I have already invested thousands into
the development of my systems. But I need a writer to help me now.

I can offer you stability, and the opportunity to earn a LOT more
than just a standard writer. You will never need to compete to get
jobs. I can offer a stable, secure income right now.

I need a writer, to finish a load of my ideas, and to create new
content for my new membership areas. The salary is negotiable, but
your experience is not …

I need to see a LONG, work history. Preferable here at Scriptlance.
You must be able to provide me with examples of your writing, AND
the contact details of people you have written for …

Yes … I will contact your previous employers. I am not messing
around, and this is a massive opportunity for you. English must be
your first, native language, and you must understand how to write
persuasive sales copy. (ie, if I say, here is a product, please
create some sort of sales letter for it, you must at least try!)

I’m not interested in hiring someone with poor English skills.

If you are in ANY WAY concerned about your skills, then this is
not the job for you …

Ok – now I will explain a little about myself :)

I have a large range of websites, products and ebooks that I would
like to launch soon. I also have a special arrangement with a guru
in the industry, who employs me full-time. He also has lots of work,
and in some cases, pays extra bonuses as well. However …

You will work for me, and your job will be secure. I have the funds
to hire you long-term, and you will earn a considerable profit as
we launch sites together.

I am looking for someone who offers me a low, monthly price for
full-time writing – to begin with. Someone who can take a task,
and write a lot of well researched content. Someone who wants
stability, and hopefully someone who is not about to go broke.

(I am hoping you offer me a discount on your regular monthly rate,
because I will certainly make it up to you, once we are comfortable
together. I am not interested in hiring a desperate writer who will
spend time freelancing for other people. I need someone who can work
with me to produce amazing results.)

If you can help me for a few months, you will be in a perfect
position to earn both a salary, AND a share of my profits. And,
believe me – there will be serious profit. My team has already
put thousands of affiliates in place, and we have huge launches
coming up …

I guess what I’m trying to say is … this is not all about price.
I’m hoping to hire you, and build a partnership of sorts …

So – having said all that, I look forward to reading your offers.

Please note – you are bidding on a set, monthly salary. I would
like to hire you at your bid rate, for the next three months, and
then we can re-negotiate your salary, and introduce profit sharing.

You must be experienced. You must be able to work full-time on
my projects. (That means 30-50 hours per week). You must be able
to communicate via internet chat, and you must want this opportunity.

It could easily change your life …

Looking forward to hearing from you :)

Thanks,
Jonathan

Joomla/mysql/php Expert Needed

April 20th, 2009 Comments off

I am the owner of a web page for artists. I need a programmer who can take a basic web page that I have created in Joomla and set up the more technical aspects of the site. I have created a basic site with a Joomla template but need more advanced functionality. I am ready to move forward with this project immediately and would like it done in a fairly short time frame.

The basic idea of my website is that art galleries can come to my site and fill out a form that describes an opportunity for artists (call for entry, art contests, etc.). I need to be able to manage this information as it is submitted and make it available to artists who subscribe to my website.

I need the following funtionality added to this site:

1- I need to be able to have people register on my site, pay with a credit card, and then have immediate access to a portion of the site that is only available to paid customers. This must be a very streamlined process. Subscribers need to be able to log in and manage their account details also, such as updating an email address. I need the ability to manage subscription rates for a 1 or 2 year subscription and also for a few alternative subscription options. They will need to check a box that states that they have read and agree to the terms and conditions of site use. Upon a successful payment, the system will activate the membership and will send a confirmation email to the new member so that they can log in immediately.

2- A site visitor will be able to submit an event/opportunity. The form will collect their organization name, their full name, phone number, email address, full physical address, opportunity title, due date, type (drop-down), awards value, web page address, web address for their prospectus, a picture or logo(jpeg) that represents their event and a full description. The system will save the opportunity in a pending queue for admin review that will allow me to edit them and make them live in the portion of the web page for paid subscribers. (as a note: I have already created a form with the RSForms! module that allows galleries to submit information about their art contests, you could work off this or create a new form). I need the ability to view items being submitted, edit them, and then make them live on the web page.

3- I need to make it so that artists who subscribe to my website can view these event submissions, potentially 1000+ listings. I would like for each individual subscriber to be able to sort these listings by date, type, $ amount, location and other key subcategories. A search function would also be very nice. The system will return a listing of all those that matched the given criteria, organized by date with the newest at the top. The listing will show full information for the opportunity.

4- I need to include a standard

Php Development With Forms

April 13th, 2009 Comments off

Knowledge of PhpFox is highly recommended.

I need someone to build a Php-based mod that is similar to what you can find at Broadjam.com (not all of the functionality, just part of it), Taxi.com, and Sonicbids.com. Basically, we need Business accounts on our website to be given the ability to upload entertainment opportunities for our users. The way it works is that the business will log into their account and have a link that they can use to post an opportunity. You will create the pages that the link is linking to. They will be taken to a page, which you will create, which will be similar to a form.

When the business clicks the SUBMIT button, the form will post to an email address.

It will also create a description of the listing on another page. It will include the date the listing was posted and the other relevant information except for “Where to submit the song”. The listing will have a link that allows the subscriber to submit for the listing.. It will first check to see if the member is a subscriber. If the member is a subscriber, it will ask for a paid fee or activity points (which will be processed using the ecommerce module). It will then allow the user to upload 1 song for each paid fee (or X activity points) with a short description of the song and the title.

The song will be uploaded to our server with the ID for the opportunity and the other subscriber-submitted information for us to review the songs. We will review the songs on another page that is only accessible to the admin. This page will have the uploaded songs for us to review and will include a link to send a review back to the subscriber for their submission (The review will be another form). We will send a review back to the subscriber via their online mail account. You can see a sample of this in action at http://www.broadjam.com/delivery/index.php? or http://www.taxi.com/industry.php.

The business will also have the opportunity to upload a gig opportunity. This follows similar logic but has more requirements as it will require you to extend the functionality of our ecommerce mod for affiliates of a certain type to be able to sell a product (currently, this is limited only to the admin). The product will be a gig. Please see the attached business requirements document to understand the opportunity more fully. The gig opp is more similar to http://www.sonicbids.com or http://www.myhitonline.com/CurrentLeads.aspx.

C Lemonade Stand

April 5th, 2009 Comments off

Here is what needs to be done. I have the skeleton code too which i have included right after the instructions. This program must compile in Dev C++ and it needs to be in the format in the instructions.

Objectives
1. Review use of if statements and loops.
2. Learn how to write functions given specifications.
3. Learn how to use pass by reference variables.
4. Learn how to put together a useful program given a skeleton of that program and the
functions and their specifications necessary in the implementation.

Problem: Lemonade Stand
Last summer your friend has a lemonade stand and made lots of money. You want to do the same! You have plenty of time to plan, so you thought you would be pre
pared when summer came around by writing a program to simulate your lemonade stand. The basic idea behind the simulation is as follows:

1) You will simulate 10 days of running the lemonade stand.
2) In the beginning the user gets a $20.00 loan to run the lemonade stand.
3) Before each day, the user gets an opportunity to buy bags of lemons and sugar.
4) At the beginning of each day the user receive a weather report.
5) Based on that, the user is asked to price a cup of lemonade for that day.
6) Then, the days sales are simulated. (Part of this is written for you.)
7) Afterwards, the user is prompted with a status report of how much money they have left and how many bags of lemons and sugar they have left.

What you have to do
A skeleton of the solution for this assignment is posted on WebCourses and the course web page. Please use this skeleton. You must fill in the seven functions that are left for you to fill in, as well as write the remainder of main so the program works as described above. After you write each function, you should test it before moving on. How to do this will be covered in class. Then, write your main, calling the necessary functions from it to achieve the desired functionality. main can work without declaring any new variables than the ones already declared. But, you may declare new ones if you wish.

Perhaps the biggest problem you will have will be not knowing when to make function calls. The goal of having these functions is to make the coding process more manageable. In particular, it is possible that a function might “do” something complicated, but that just really means that function makes calls to other functions that carry out a majority of that work already. In essence, if you write a function A to do a task, then don’t write out the code that also does that task in another function B. Instead call the function A from the body of function B.

Output Sample
Two full output samples of the program running will be provided on Webcourses and the course web page in the files lemonade.out and lemonade2.out.

Deliverables
You must submit your solution to the problem, lemonade.c, over WebCourses.

Lemonade Stand

April 3rd, 2009 Comments off

Sugarcrm Calendarcustomization

March 30th, 2009 Comments off

We would like a developer to customize the calendar in our database, so that the following can be performed:

1. Add an additional field in the opportunity tab called “van” with the drop down menu : VAN1,VAN2,VAN3,VAN4,VAN5, NO VEHICLE and set “choose vehicle” as a default

2. Make the field Van obligatory field

3. When creating an opportunity, when we choose a time for the service and then select a van that is already booked for this job, there should a appear a message: “This vehicle is not available at this time” and it should not allow us to use this van for this time. The only exception is “no vehicle” and this option should allow us to book another service even if there is already a booking with “no vehicle” for this time.

4. When an opportunity is created there should be a link in calendar created automatically by day and hour and it has to show how long its booked for

5. In the weekly and daily schedule the link should display : job type, pick up and destination postcode, time(from and to)

6. In the monthly schedule the link should display only the job type

7. Calendar must allow multiple jobs at the same time (for example VAN1 and VAN2 can have a booking for Monday at 10am)

8. When you click on the link it should take you to this specific opportunity page

9. In the link you should also be able to click on van and be able to see all jobs booked for this specific vehicle.

10. Jobs for each van should be displayed in different color

Once the project is completed we need 24 hours to check for errors.

Php Development With Forms

March 27th, 2009 No comments

I need someone to build a Php-based mod that is similar to what you can find at Broadjam.com (we don’t need all of their functionality – please see the link below) or Taxi.com. The form will have the following information:

Short Description of type of song (small text box)
Genre (drop down list)
Format (drop down list)
Tv show/Film (Checkbox)
Explicit Lyrics Accepted (Checkbox)
Instrumentals Accepted (Checkbox)
Submission deadline (Date format)
Description of the opportunity (Text box)
Where to submit song(text box)

When the business clicks the SUBMIT button, the form will post to an email address.

It will also create a description of the listing on another page. It will include the date the listing was posted and the other relevant information except for “Where to submit the song”. The listing will have a link that allows the subscriber to submit for the listing.. It will first check to see if the member is a subscriber. If the member is a subscriber, it will ask for a $5 fee or 500 activity points (which will be processed using the ecommerce module). It will then allow the user to upload 1 song for each $5 fee (or 500 activity points) with a short description of the song and the title.

You can see a sample of this in action at http://www.broadjam.com/delivery/index.php? or at http://www.taxi.com/industry.php.

Opportunity Of The Year

March 16th, 2009 No comments

Details:

- Looking to create an interactive site, where users can communicate through webcams – accompanied with sound and with the ability for the users utilizing the webcams to type messages to each other at the same time.

- Need an external CSS page code developed (we have developed the basic pages, for use at your disposal), so all layouts can be changed at once if needed.

- Basic community site, where users may communicate and post items between each other, including blogs and events (i.e. think facebook, but not as intricate).

- For the main page, users will need to sign-up and pay to utilize the services, so all other pages will restricted to only paid customers. Assuming this, certain membership levels will allow users to do limited or unlimited things within the site.

- A store will also need to be created to sell items online. Have a merchant and paypal account. Similar site format needed for sales and payment pages.

- Heavy hacker-proof encryption needed for sign-up and login pages.

- Need a master/admin account to cancel members, change the permissions active on their pages, send master email to all members, cancel memberships, change memberships status, post blogs, events, advertisements, etc.

- We are unsure if .htaccess is needed. Would consider other password encoded options, as we have not picked a hosting service as of yet.

- Open to javascript, php, sql, java, etc. But would like to avoid flash.
