Furniture Modeling (3d Max)

March 9th, 2010 Comments off

We are looking for someone who has experience with 3DStudio Max9 from autodesk and can build precious 3D furniture models from scratch, based on photos, sketches and datasheets containing height, width, depth and further information. The finished objects can be made up of multiple parts or single objects (e.g. Body, seat cushion, cushion and furniture legs) depending on the further use of the single pieces, since the finished objects will later be exported and used by further applications for 3D viewing. The programs need to blend the single parts in and out of focus and apply different textures to the single parts. It is important that the finished objects are not larger than 800 Kb (low level polygoning) and have a UVW-modification 9x9cm. Further details about scaling, positioning and naming have to be discussed beforehand. We will supply an example model and details to a corner piece for a demo. Even if no agreement is made, there may be the possibility of payment for the demo if all conditions are fulfilled. We have over 100 pieces that will need to be modeled, if an agreement is made.
Please contact us and provide following information:
– Age:
– Working with 3DMax / having Experience with 3D Max since:
– 1-2 References
After you have provided the contact information we will send a link for further information.

<< pls only experts in actionsctipt and if uve touched TRANSFORM MANAGER b4 this will be a breeze. No ‘flash amateurs pls’!. >>

refer to http://plan.fxfresh.com

after load, click “INTIMATE” at base, ignore every other series. under intimate there are several objects. drag any SAME object 9 times to floor. on 10th time, object wont stick without refreshing pg. reason is because transform handles and rotation handles are limited to the counter which is 9. Modify the counter to allow same object to stick infinite. If not infinite, then at least 50.

next, collision detection was before. Put collision detection in again so objects dont overlap each other.

lastly, some minor drawing changes to objects.

Colourobject Tracking In Video

November 26th, 2009 Comments off

We require an Experienced Programmer to work on a Video Tracking and analysis project who has previous experience in Video capture intelligence such as, Facial Capture, Security and so on.

The project requires the candidate to provide programmatic intelligence to track the colours and the track background.

We are analysing races that have moving objects on a moving background. The objects change shape but can have a clear and defined colour. The background is generally the same. The background has some referrence points that will be most likely a line in the video that changes its position as the camera view changes.

Our initial project will be with a race that has only one camera shot in that the entire race can be seen always.

Once the object and background is checked and tracked we require an output of the distance ratios of the objects to each other.
For example 1 – 7-4-5-9-3-6-2-8 could be shown in distance as
( 10 – 12-5-5-0-4-5-3-2) With the second set of numbers being the distance bewteen the objects.

IF you feel you have had similar experience or are confident that this can be done from video with the knowledge you have or systems you have set up then we would be interested to hear from you.

Currently the system would be run over Video that is NOT in Real Time.

A Game Using Box2d As3

November 20th, 2009 Comments off

I’m looking for a programmer familiar with Box2D as3. The project is about creating a platformer game with physics using Box2D AS3.

We have a framework with customized Box2D library (actors, creating physics objects from the library artwork). And we need a person who has experience and understands Box2D well (how objects are created and used, the collisions etc.).

The job is about creating a quite simple platformer (like Mario). So you have to make the objects moving toward the hero and hero’s movements (jumps, run, collisions with the objects).

Please give your past works using Box2D if you have any.

Object Tracking In Video

November 4th, 2009 Comments off

We require an Experienced Programmer to work on a Video Tracking and analysis project.

The project requires the candidate to provide intelligence most likely far and beyond what would be considered normal.

In this way it may be that we require a model of the terrain or racecourse.

Mask Images In Photoshop

October 14th, 2009 Comments off

I have a series of 38 photographs of simple objects, mostly round coins… there are 19 objects, and a photo for frotn and back of each object.

I need the background of each photo masked out in Photoshop.

Then I need the images cropped to remove empty space.

Then, if it is needed the images should be rotated so that the objects are straight up and down (some of the photos were taken when the camera was not 100% straight)… and in some cases the image might need to be skewed slightly if the camera angle was not perfect.

Here are some samples of the images, these are typical, all images are very similar to these:

http://i34.tinypic.com/2yns4rm.jpg

I will send you a zipped file of all the images, and you will send me back a zipped file with all the finished .psd images. You can upload to my FTP if needed.

100% Escrow on start.

Homework Help

October 3rd, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for someone to help me with my C++ homework. Below is the details of my assignment which is due Sunday night. Also, I would like to have detailed comments explaining what has been done.

1)Create a new project which consists of one class; the RacingData class. The class should have data members that are used to represent the name of the player, the score achieved and the time (in both minutes and seconds) taken to achieve this score. The functions in the class should perform the following

set the name, score and time
return this same data
print this data
Also add a default constructor and a constructor with parameters.

Operator Overloading: The class should have an additional function that overloads the + operator such that when used to add two objects it will add the scores of each object as well as the time to achieve these scores. It will not check that the names are the same. The result of adding two RacingData objects together should be another RacingData object with combined data. Write the complete implementation for this function.

2)Construct a main method so that it can test the class. This is to be done by creating six objects that are to represent 2 two players each playing three games. Use the following data to construct the six objects:

Name Score Minutes Seconds
Danica Patrick 185 11 20
Danica Patrick 103 11 30
Danica Patrick 73 12 40
Jeff Gordon 155 10 10
Jeff Gordon 127 11 15
Jeff Gordon 34 12 35

USING THE OVERLOADED + OPERATOR, find the average score and time for each player and print out which performer had to lowest total time and which performer had the highest total score.

Convert Form As2 To As3

August 14th, 2009 Comments off

I’m willing to pay $250 for this only because it needs to be completed by Sunday night/Monday Morning United States Easter Standard Time.

My client has a small site in AS2 that needs to be converted to AS3 so we can implement some Box2D.

Please view the in-progress AS2 site here: http://www.designkart.com/clients/mommybook/

1) I need this updated to AS3.
— It needs to have the “slide” effect from screen to screen
— The submit form needs to output one submission text email for the submission and one HTML email to the user as a confirmation

2) I need the floating objects to behave like: http://www.aliceandolivia.com/#/accessories
–This is where I was told the Box2D physics engine comes into play, due to the collision sensitivity.
–Each group of floating objects should stay within the 1024×768 bounds of their respective screen.

Order of priority:
1) AS3 recode of “slide” effect, navigation menus, rollover buttons, submission form
2) Floating Objects with collision and boundaries

There is a third part Creation of an HTML email for confirmation, but I’m still waiting on copy from client for that.

Delphi Opengl Engine

August 11th, 2009 Comments off

I need help creating a simple Delphi-based OpenGL engine. The requirements are:

- The basic principle is that it should be possible to add objects to the scene, and then render the scene as a output image.

- At the moment the only objects I need to add is 32-bit images. The alpha-channel of the images should be used.

- The parameters for each objects should be possible to change before each rendered frame.

- Parameters that I need to be able to set for each object are position (X, Y, Z), rotation (X, Y, Z), opacity (0-100 percent), scale (X, Y, Z).

- It must also be possible at anytime to change the image (with an image with a identical size) without re-creating the object.

- It should also be possible to change camera settings before rendering. At least position (X, Y, Z) and lens angle should be possible to set.

- As manipulation of images are the main thing, there are some things that is important: Images should be handled so that when all paramaters are at default values the image is rendered pixel-by-pixel to the target bitmap. Ie, a image of 100×100 pixels will still be 100×100 pixels when rendered. Unless there is any light added the image should appear identical to the input on the output.

- The ouput render should result in a 32 bitmap image of desired size (up to 1920×1080). It should be the result of all objects with the current properties, and with their alpha channels correctly combined. Render should not be done to screen, only to the image.

- Render should be done on the computers OpenGL graphic card, for fast render of complex scenes.

- Speed is the main focus – all actions has to be optimized for short execution time.

- It should be 100% delphi code, well commented and easy to modify and add functionality to.

- Values for position, scale and rotation should have a meaningful range, where the default is 0 (position and rotation) or 1 (scale).

Here are a pseduo code of how the engine should be used:

A: Init Scene

InitScene();
AddImage(AImage, ObjectID); // AImage = 32bit bitmap
AddImage(AImage, ObjectID); // AImage = 32bit bitmap

B: Render Loop

UpdateImage(ObjectID, NewImage); // New image = 32bit Bitmap
SetImagePosition(ObjectID, XPos, YPos, ZPos);
SetImageScale(ObjectID, XScale, YScale, ZScale);
SetImageOpacity(ObjectID, Opacity);
SetImageRotation(ObjectID, XRotate, YRotate, ZRotate);
SetCameraPosition(XPos, YPos, ZPos);
SetCameraAngle(Angle);
RenderFrame(TargetImage); // TargetImage = 32bit Bitmap

Please provide information on your experience with OpenGL and Delphi with your bid.

Flash As2 Fix

August 1st, 2009 Comments off

I have an external class that is imported into a nested movie clip. This class creates transform handles and initiates the rotation and scale handles for objects. You can view how it works here

http://nidds.com/ohmm/ohmm.html

Click PLANNER – Choose Length and Height – click on the menu sub panel where you have buttons INITMATE, ACCESSORIES, BY THE SEA, etc

You will see products appearing on the stage. When you click the product, it duplicates on the square

ISSUES:
1) Currently, the duplicate movie clip that you will see on stage is not created at runtime. Multiple copies of the main movie clip were placed at the center of the stage and using a counter they were intialized.

If you closely observe, whatever square size you enter, the duplicated object appears at the same x and y on the stage for all products.

I need this fixed. I want the ability to drag and drop the object on the stage. When I drag the object, it has to be duplicated so that the main object stays there and the cuplicated object is dragged.

2) The objects should be scaled to fit the square. If you observe, the objects are of different dimensions. So, when the square height or width is less than the object height or width, it will still be dragged but it cannot be dropped.

3) I need this external as2 class to be imported and it has to initialize upon the drop action of the movie clip.

This is an easy job for someone familiar with AS2. So please no unrealistic bids.

Thanks
Rob

Timeline Visual Component

June 29th, 2009 Comments off

I need help with creating a Delphi Timeline visual component. The idea is to display and edit keyframes for several objects at once. Compare with for example Adobe After Effects or Adobe Flash timelines, but much simpler in design.

Key features:

- The visual design should be simple, and stay in line with standard delphi components, such as TTreeView.

- It should work without problems in CodeGear Delphi 2007 for Win32. It should not require any 3rd part libraries.

- All source code should be included, and unlimited rights to use and modify it for our use. It is not required to have exclusive rights, but there must not be any limits in how we can use it (the only exception being that we dont require the rights to sell it as a separate component with or without source code).

- The time axis should be frame based, but it should also display time as mm:ss:ff. It should be possible to specify nr of frames per second (normally 25 or 30, but it should be open for any frame rate).

- Time axis is horisontal, going from left to right. There should not be any design limit in the length.

- Each object on the timeline should have it’s own line. There should not be any design limit in nr of objects. The component should also be able to display without any objects at all (empty).

- Each objects should have a unlimited nr of keyframes. There is always at least one keyframe at time 0. The key frames should be clearly marked on the timeline at the correct position. Again, positions are set in frames.

- Each object should have a total length property (in frames), which are independent from the keyframes itself. The length should in some way be displayed in the timeline so you can compare length on the different objects.

- It should be possible to zoom in the timeline, from viewing the complete timeline at once down to seeing each frame in detail. The zoom control can either be part of the component, or it can be set only using properties (however, it is preferred that it is integrated into the component). It should in any case be possible to read and set the zoom level from properties.

- The objects should have a storage property for a pointer, just like the data property of the TTreeNode.

- The component should have a navigator arrow to move along the timeline using the mouse. The position of this should be visible in the actual timelines as well (for example with a vertical line). It should be possible through properties to both read and set the position (in frames).

- Keyframes should be possible to move by dragging them with the mouse, firing an event with info about the selected object, the source frame and the target frame.

- It should be possible to right-click an keyframe, firing an event with info about the selected object and the selected frame.

- The component should be sizeable, and adopt to any size.

- It should be possible to select a object by clicking on the timeline or name, and this selection should be visible in the timeline. It should be possible to both read and set the selection trough properties. It should be possible to have no object selected, but only if no objects exists.

- Any colors, fonts etc. used should be possible to change trough properties.

We would be happy to get the following info with your bid:

- Approx. time to complete
- A simple drawing with the suggested visual design
- A simple technical description on the suggested model

Iphone / Audit Log Gps Photo

May 20th, 2009 Comments off

One of our current tasks is to audit objects on different sites for clients. We require some creative thinking to produce a solution.
The process now is:
ON-SITE
1. Take a digital photo of object.
2. Make brief note if required (ie. damaged, needs updating)
3. Note down location on satellite map (by putting X on map)
OFFICE
1. Collate all photos and comments into web based spreadsheet style listing. When an object is clicked the link directs to the photo and comment (if any).
2. Copy list and also provide as “group” lists (ie. 10 groups like “entry area”, “carpark area”, etc).
3. Create web based satellite map view with links showing location of objects. Once clicked takes the client to the photo and the comment (if any).
4. Data is then burned to disc and client can browse with Explorer.

Ideal solution…
1. Our staff can travel around site with iPhone and (using new developed program) can take photos and add comments (if any).
2. Program automatically collates and applies to satellite maps.

We are open to different ideas or solutions. Our clients are flexible with the end product as long as they can browse/search for a particular object if needed.

Whether the data is stored as one unit then transferred in the office or whether each photo is sent via the iPhones 3G network is up to you. But keep in mind that there are usually 200-400 objects in each audit. A typical site would cover about 20-30 square KM.

Looking forward to your suggestions and assistance.

Flash As3 Interactive

May 19th, 2009 Comments off

We would like to have an interactive flash application built using AS3.

The graphics are already complete in illustrator and exported to flash objects.

There are 8 controls. 6 are simple up/down buttons one is a slider and one rotates.

There are 7 movable objects which are basic curved lines that rotate.

A database is already built to give the positions of the objects based on any input from the controls.

There are 5 text outputs that change according to the database table.

Templates – Link Page Objects

April 28th, 2009 Comments off

(1) There are two CSS page templates.
(2) One is complete, the other needs to be expanded to include more
product detail.
(3) We have the sizing for the one needing expansion.
(4) Depending on what page object is clicked, it will pull one of
the two templates to frame another site’s page.
(5) Other sections of the site already do this.
(6) We will list which page objects pull which templates.
(7) The page’s footer needs to be switched. We have the footer.

This should be able to be completed relatively quickly.
There are minimal page objects.

Java Coding

April 5th, 2009 Comments off

A model of a factory

The factory produces produces objects of type 1 and type 2 from pieces of raw material which are readily available without limit. For the projection of an object of type 1, a piece of raw material is first processed by a machine of type A, then by a machine of type B, and finally by a machine of type C. For this purpose, a piece of raw material is first placed on a robotized moving platform which transports the piece from one machine to the other and finally deposits the finished product in a storage area. The factory owns 15 moving platforms. The production of objects of type 1 is done as fast as possible, since there appears to be an unlimited demand for such objects. Here is some information about the machines and how they are accessed by the moving platforms:

* There are 3 machines of type A and the platforms with raw material wait in a single queue until one of the machines becomes available.
* There are also 3 machines of type B, but they have separate queues (one per machine), since the machines are located far away from one another within the factory. When an object has been processed by a machine of type A, one of the machines of type B will be selected randomly for the subsequent processing.
* There is a signle machines of type C, with a single waiting queue. The storage area is large and several moving platforms may access it at the same time.

The production of objects of type 2 is done on demand. The production of these objects has priority over the production of objects of type 1, since the factory makes more profit from the production of an object of type 2. The production of objects of type 2 proceeds similar as for objects of type 1, except that the object does not need to be processed by a machine of type B; the platform takes the object directly from the machine of type A to the machine of type C. The arrivals of requests for the production of an object of type 2 arrive randomly with an inter-arrival time uniformly distributed over 5
