Clean Up Audio Recording

November 17th, 2011 Comments off

I have been trying to clean up a 25 year old recording using GoldWave, without much success.
The material is a spoken discussion (no music) which I have captured in WAV format, Mono, 44100 Hz, wave signed 16-bit and 45 minutes long.
Defects include:
Tape hiss and rumble
Poor quality microphone with resonance
Occasional clipping by the female speaker
Booming noise when the microphone is occasionally knocked.
The WAV file is 235Meg but I have attached a short sample in MP3 f…

Add Noise By Php To A Simple Captcha

May 25th, 2011 Comments off

I need someone to add noise via PHP using the GD image functions to a very simple (12 lines of code) CAPTCHA.

I would like it to look like the example CAPTCHA attached, again I already have the working CAPTCHA, just need someone to add the code to create random noise in the image.

Pink Noise Program

Want software, preferably written in PHP, but other platforms are OK (Matlab or C) that will produce a wav file lasting at least 10 sec containing band-limited white noise, centered around a particular audio frequency, with a given band pass. I want this to work between 20 Hz and 20 KHz.

For example, suppose that the chosen frequency is 12,315, and the size of the band is 100 hz. This program should produce “pink” noise between 12215 and 12415 hz.

Would prefer a program that could filter an arbitrary wav file.

Clean Bg Noise Mp3 Voice Files

October 26th, 2009 Comments off

We just did voice overs for a audio book. About 10 minutes long on 5-6 files. We need someone to take the MP3′s and remove the director’s voice (female) and the background noise–wind, etc from the files and return to us as crisp as possible. Enclosed is the first MP3 for a sample.

Hi, I have a video which I download from youtube as flv format. The video shows a man talking and in the background it has the noise of the baby making funny noise. I wants to eliminate the background noise of the baby making that funny noise. I am not sure if this is even possible.

Payment will be complete once the job has been done successfully.

Attached is the video. Thanks for bidding.

I have this audio file with conversation recorded by ordinary mic. It has lots of noise and distortion. I need someone expert with audio editing to make the audio neat for me.

Please send me a message on PMB if you are interested and I will send you file to work on.

I am sure it is possible for a person who knows soundforge inside out.

Escrow will be released only on 100% satisfaction of work.

Coin Dispenser

March 16th, 2009 No comments

I am looking for someone with strong technical skills and knowledge of POS software languages.
Here are the details:

1. Identifying a cost-effective coin dispenser that can be connected to a PC and controlled by a script on the pc. One example could be: http://www.telequip.com/transact2plus.html However I’m not sure whether that particular device has this functionality.

2. Developing a script that would play an audio clip, track how much time passes, and be able to a) trigger the device to output a coin every 30 seconds AND b) keep track of the amount of time that has passed and output coins based on that amount of time at the end.

3. There is also an education piece: I would also need this person to help me understand the script itself so I would be able to make changes to it in the future.

4. There may also be some additional customization elements and added features, but we can discuss that as they arise. For the time being, 1-3 are essential.

The context:

I’m working on an experiment and need to figure out how to wire a coin dispenser (e.g. ) to a computer so it will drop out a quarter every 30 seconds. Essentially we’re having our subjects listen to an annoying noise, such as the one starting 7 seconds into this clip: http://www.amandfmmorningside.com/wpgc_misc_audio_1981_07_05th_ebs_test_dave_foxx.wma It’s a 2×2 design, with the dimensions being whether they commit or not, and whether their payment is discounted or not. The discounting is manipulated by whether they are paid at the end or periodically during the noise. The idea is that they will under-perform slightly when paid at the end, and we aim to show that commitment will help them perform better. But to run this experiment, we need to rig up a relatively simple piece of software that will play the noise, and while the noise plays, automatically drop a coin periodically out of the dispenser.
