1) I am having issues with the Ning to BuddyPress Importer. While all the data (e.g. bios, custom profile questions and their answers, profile photos, etc.) has been uploaded, they are not displaying properly. I need some help to get it to display the approximately 800 members and their data.
2) There are a couple of issues with “security” related items on BuddyPress despite the additional plugins to make it private.
3) Can someone explain the “activity” tab that appears on BuddyPress? Is that option only available to admins, or do all members see the “activity” tab and page of activity feeds?
4) I’m not sure that the login is working for this BuddyPress install. I need that tested and figured out.

The one small modification we need is for it to redircet users who are not logged in to the login screen.
It should be pretty simple and straight forward. All of the instructions are at the top of that forum post. We just need someone whose comfortable with programming to implement it.

I want to create a site similar to etsy.com where members can have their own page to sell their crafts and offer their services. I was thinking maybe to customize a ning site, but it is not a social network, I don’t want to have people connected to other “friends”
The site will be free to join, and will offer upsell if they want advertising or custom page design.
Is this possible and how much does it cost? I realize there are details we need to be clear on. The site design itself has a home page with featured members, a sign up/sign in button, and a search bar and menu of items and service categories. Pretty straight forward. Each member’s page will have a place for them to post their photo and bio, and then the main space is where they can post text, video, photos to talk about and feature their work. I guess it would be advantageous to have links back to the home page but also to similar items or services on other member pages…
The graphic design is very basic, I have a logo already, just a solid border, header and footer probably blue with white space.
I already have 12 pages created from the past year of newsletters, however they have not been turned into a site, I simply email a newsletter featuring someone. I need to get this out of email format and create a self activating site, where members can create content at their own pace, rather than me doing all the work to create a newsletter and send it. I don’t want to begin unless I know #3 is possible and there is a great tool out there to incorporate into the site. So, that would actually be the first step. If there is, this project can be a go.
