I currently have a WordPress template for my business site, but the functionality and interaction is extremely limited and this needs to change.

When you sliced up and implement the home page, you will need to use PHP so it’s easy to build out the pages. You will need to use a valid xhtml and CSS and make sure that all the text sections of the design be CSS styled text, rather than images.
You will need to have all software needed (updated photoshop etc.)

I’m with a web host that has really let me down and I’m ready to migrate to a more reliable and Joomla!-friendly host. (I know that’s got you curious — My current provider keeps locking my files so I can’t read or write to them, and they upgraded my site to a new version without my permission.)

I have already purchased my subsciption from the new host — a service I trust.

You will need to move two smaller (fewer than 30 pages) websites, a WordPress blog and some miscellaneous files I host with my current provider, over to my new web host and make sure it’s all working. Both of the websites are built in Joomla 1.5 (I think they are both on the same version) and have multiple plugins/components and widgets. Again, I don’t have a lot to move, but I need someone to do the migration and quality assurance for me — I have no time. You will also need to instruct me (or handle) the domains as well. I currently have my domains registered with GoDaddy.

Both web hosts use Cpanel.

To get a sense for the project, the sites are www.michaelfcombs.com and www.itsneverevertoolate.com

I’m very motivated to get this done right away (hopefully this weekend) and would like to it to be as seamless to our customers/visitors as possible to reduce downtime.
