I am setting up some websites and need a little php help. I am trying to use the directory name as a variable and use it in my php file. example:

http://maindomain.com/special/ProductNumber1/index.php

I am needing to extract the “ProductNumber1″ chunk of this url and use it as a variable.

I have tried: <?php echo dirname($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']); ?>

and that returns:/special/ProductNumber1 I need just “ProductNumber1″

Readymade scripts to do this are available for less than $10, so why am I paying for a custom implementation? Because I need it to be extremely efficient, light on server resources, excellently coded and documented, fast, and importantly, I need it to comply with the Terms of Use (see the restriction about the number of queries allowed per second — I need it to comply with this limit through intelligent managing of user queries. Users can be kept waiting through Ajax etc.)

Secondly, you will have to integrate the script into two HTML pages I designed (one the search page, one the results page), and use CSS to integrate a custom search button I have designed into the HTML page too.

This is a fairly simple job and I don’t think it will take more than 2-3 hours. But you must be a very capable PHP programmer, who knows what he is doing, and who is capable of making this script very light on server resources and fast. Most importantly, it needs to comply with the usage guidelines (see the ‘API Basics’ PDF file on the first bitly link).

PS – Take a good look at the second bitly link above and note all the features (including limiting number of queries for an IP per day, and pointing out possible undesirable domains through color etc.)

I need a php and java expert to create a tabbed options panel inside our wordpress premium theme admin page.

The tabbed panel I want created needs to be similar to the one inside the constructor theme which I have attached to this project. If you go inside the theme options for this theme you will see the tabbed panel there.

I am posting this again and again because i was only troubled.

I have a list with some modules which need to be coded for my php script.
(its clipshare video sharing script)

To make an idea i will write here what need to be done :

- advertising will be a bit touched (clipshare have advertising options, but i need something edited )

- search should be modified a bit, so only upgraded members to use the advanced search feature.

- a dropdown menu with three option normal, smaller or no ads next to every type of member option (non-member, member, premium member). The idea is that the admin can set to every type of memebers with a single click to see normal, smaller, or no advertisements.

- New integrated billing system

- On the video page I want a button to download the video which is being watched. Only premium mebers can download video. If a non logged in user or a normal member tries to download it the script has to offer them to upgrade their account to a premium membership and after that they can download every video what they want.

I have a FILEHOSTING SITE, and I want to add a system to it, so when members arrive at the download page, they have to complete an offer before they can download the file. After they complete the offer, then they can download the file.

For each offer that the user complete, the UPLOADER gets $X amount of money in his account. And the system should keep track of each user uploads and how much they are earning. When they reach $10, they can request a Payout from us.

I already have a filehosting website and i need this system integrated into my current script.

Here is how the system will work:

1. The downloader will reach the download page.

2. The page will check to see if the user has completed the offer before or not. DONT USE COOKIE CHECKER. USE the system that Sharecash.org uses.

3. If User has completed no offer before, a popup will appear. The popup will have an iframe that links to a file in the system (ex. checker.php) that will serve as a way to communicate with the offer url and as a way to verify completed offers (algorithm).

4. If the downloader proceeds to fill out the offer and completes it, the file that checks for completion will return successful and the download prompt will appear.

5. The database will be updated and $x money will be added to what the uploader already had.

6. If the uploader reaches $10, the backend will move him to a ready to pay list with his details.

7. All the money goes into the PENDING EARNINGS of userpanel account and i put them in the APPROVED EARNINGS on the 15th of every month
