I’ve had another programmer create some custom code in magento core to display a magento config product view with more options.

Everything is working ok feature wise however from category view list of products there is a short delay from clicking the product to the product page loading..this delay is about 7 seconds..package page loads with a further 3 seconds to load the config options and data.

The problem is it’s pre loading too much data from the database so the person clicking the link has to wait before all the data is preloaded then page loads.

Most of the data being preloaded is in an series of ajax pop ups which are on the package view page.

I need it so clicking the product from category view loads the next page at normal speed and dispays some kind of ajax style loading box while the database content is shown.

all pages load fast but when the ajax links are clicked then and only then deos it download product info for the selected products rather than download ALL the product infor for ALL products.

The problem is that the solution I used to get the navbar to overlap the page content is creating “invisible padding” at the top of the page. A full description of the problem is at the above URL.

What I need is either a quick fix, or (if needed) a full page code redo. The fixed page should look exactly like the current one – just not have the “invisible padding” problem.

This is a very advanced layout, so please only bid if you have very advanced CSS skills.

Oh, one other thing – I need the new code completed within the next 6-8 hours :-/
