I am launching an online toy store using opencart 1.5.2. I have basic knowledge of CSS/HTML/PHP and have worked my way through adapting the design and layout.

I have seen some features on other sites (possibly using other open source packages) that I like and that I don’t think would take much work.

There is a possibility for ongoing work as the site grows and adapts and new features become necessary.

The first mod I need created is a search mod that dynamically updates as you click on it. It appears to be a bog standard feature on most sites but isn’t available with opencart.

I don’t believe this will take much work and as a project it is almost within my grasp as a rookie programmer so I know roughly how much time it will take.

If you already have a mod like this working I would like to take a look at it before we agree anything.

Of course I want the design to be easily updatable by editing css. I also need the ‘search engine url’ option of opencart to still work.

2/ When I click on a category or a subcategory in the navigation menu, the subcategory navigation menu must stay visible. Actually it doesn’t stay visible

We have completed the Vector Imaes for this Naviagtion Structure.

The button URLs should be stored in a separate xml file, so that we can change them at a later stage.

We are looking for an overall look-and-feel for a web application. The application is based on college admissions and helps people to find data about schools. Much of the HTML5 and Javascript structure are present, using the 960 grid system. We require a color-scheme, and styles for html and user-interface elements.

User-interface elements to be styled include:

We have a navigation that slides up or down when mouse-over. However, it has bugs in it. If the page load and your cursor is on the location where the nav will appear, then it loads closed, instead of open. Then when you mouse off, the nav slide open and remains open

Also, if you cross the nav is a rapid pattern, the navigation gets stuck sliding open and closed. View the attached video.

Project is to create a wordpress theme from two PSD files – one for homepage layout and one for interior page layout. I’ve attached screenshots of each and will provide the person I hire the photoshop source files along with the font used.

Overall notes:

-Font used in the navigation is quicksand and wil be provided. Use cufon or similar in order to convert text to use this font. Navigation needs to be able to be edited through WordPress.
-Navigation is a 3-tier system. On the homepage screenshot you can see the first tier (company) along with the 2nd tier (team, press. jobs, contact) … of these, team, press, and jobs will have another tier of navigation when a user hovers that appears to the right of the 2nd tier item. Items on the 2nd tier that have 3rd tier items will appear as marked in the proof with the yellow diamond symbol.
-Note that both the navigation and the border around page elements use partial transparency.
-background is fixed (ie content scrolls above it)

Homepage layout notes:

-Large “hero” image will rotate through a number of images. Each hero image will have its own link (this can be a regular link in the text area below the image or the entire image can be clickable). If only one hero image is loaded, it will not rotate. The ability to add images needs to be done through WordPress.
-The 3 Callouts below need to be able to change the title, background image and the text/links on each via WordPress. If the title or reflection effect needs to be done as part of the background image, that’s ok, but we need to be able to add it via WordPress.

Interior page layout notes:
-Note the second tier of navigation appears to the right of the page title.
-The large image at the top is to be optional and part of the content area. In other words, we will add these images directly in WordPress if desired.
-The content in the right margin is from widgets already installed in WordPress.
