Econet (mobile network provider) currently uses the system of transferring airtime (credits) between subscribers of the network. In order to transfer airtime you TYPE: AMOUNT#MOBILENUMBER e.g (3#0912471207) then you SEND to 444. The system then processes the command and transfers the credit to the recipient as well as debit the sender.
Challenge.
We would like to use the system to manage incoming SMS from a sim card attached to a server to RECIEVE sms of credit transfers the CREATE a voucher number that customers can use to pay for such services as internet hotspot airtime, settle electric bills.
Scenario 2:
Clients will get a user name e.g. MPOFUNN
Customers of client can pay bills or purchase services by TYPING: AMOUNT#USERNAME#ACOUNTNUMBER (10#MPOFUNN#0404). Credit sender receives confirmation of transfer and reference number.
The application captures the username as the account receiving credits and 0404 as the payment reference. The user MPOFUNN can then recoup payment as cash from our company.
