Secure Mp3 Files

June 16th, 2011 Comments off

We need a way to secure mp3 files so they can not be downloaded with things like firefox downloadhelper addon.

we stream the files to our users on our site but right now they can use tools to download them. we need to stop this.

we use jwplayer and amazon.

im interested in ideas of how you an do this and how long it will take to make this work. our whole site is dynamic so this will have to be integrated into our site.

we would like the system to stream the mp3 files so the user can listen as they are downloading the files to listen to them.

also if there is a way we would like the mp3 file not to go into there cache folder or have it encoded so they can not just play it.

please ask questions in pmb.

Need Programmer For Mp3 Files.

January 22nd, 2010 Comments off

What I need is a programmer that can work with audio files , basicaly I have 2 mp3 files, one is a song and one is just a voice that talks about every 10 seconds and says the website name, this is a vocal tag, it gos on top of the music so that no one can just steal the beat , but when they pay they get the non vocal version. So I need the program to let me drop the music file in and it will determine the length of the song for example 3 min and 22 seconds, then it will combine 3 mins and 22 seconds of the vocal tag and create one file in mp3 format. These will be uploaded to the site , you can hear an example at www.BlazinBeats.com it has the beats with the lady voice over top to get an idea of what i mean . Im only interested in someone that can get this job done thanks.

Mp3 Editing

October 2nd, 2009 Comments off

I have conducted some interviews and recorded them as MP3 files. For each MP3 interview, I need two additional MP3 files added on to the beginning. The two MP3 files I need added to each interview are (1) intro music, and (2) my introduction to the interview.

Here’s specifically what I need done:

(1) Take the six MP3 interviews and add to the beginning of each one (a) the intro music (MP3 file), and (b) my introduction (MP3 file)

So what you will end up with is six long MP3 files.

(2) “Normalize” the six MP3 files. In other words, I want the volume on all of the MP3s to be at the same, consistent level.

(3) Reduce the file size of each MP3. I did a bit of editing of the files in Audacity, and for some reason when I re-exported them as .mp3, the files increased greatly in file size. The file sizes now range from 7mb to 47mb. I need those sizes reduced, as I will be offering them for download on my website.

Sermonspeaker Component Mod

August 16th, 2009 Comments off

PROJECT OVERVIEW

I need a custom modification to the popular Joomla component for churches called SermonSpeaker. The component allows churches to manage a podcast of sermons.

Currently, a user must upload the MP3 files and associated Powerpoint or PDF attachments via FTP. I would like a simple “Browse” functionality added to both the MP3 upload section and file attachment section of the sermon creation screen on the backend.

The goal is to allow non-technical users who have no idea what FTP is to be able to manage the MP3 files and attachments.

My intention is to pay for this work and donate the code back to the SermonSpeaker project if the author of SermonSpeaker would like to use it. Put the proper credits in your code comments, and if it’s used in future releases, you’ll get credit for it.

PROJECT DETAILS

1. I would like a “Browse” button inserted to upload an MP3 file to the server. Then it can be selected in the path pulldown menu easily without having to upload it by FTP first.

2. The “Additional File Path” is a place to link a file such as a PDF or Powerpoint slideshow file. I would like a “Browse” button inserted to upload such files to the server in the “/files/” subfolder of the media folder within the SermonSpeaker component. Functionality should be almost identical to MP3 Path section above:

(1) The user clicks “Browse” to select an MP3 file from their own computer. The component uploads it and makes it available in the MP3 Path dropdown menu.
(2) The user selects the uploaded MP3 file in the dropdown menu.
(3) The user clicks “Browse” to select an optional Powerpoint or PDF file attachment that goes with the sermon. The component uploads it and makes it available in a new “Attachment Path” dropdown menu similar to the “MP3 Path” menu above.
(4) The user the selects the uploaded file in the dropdown menu.

3. It’s important that we retain the ability, as it is currently designed, to link offsite to a full path in the event file attachments or MP3 files are hosted off-site.

Thanks in advance for your help, creativity, and bid on this project.

Icecast Online Radio Station

June 22nd, 2009 Comments off

I have a website hosted at www.hosting24.com and I have SAM Broadcaster, but I am having trouble installing Icecast on the server. I want to stream mp3 files from my pc to the server so i can use my websites radio feature to let users listen to the streaming mp3 files. I just need a simple icecast setup or an alternative that works with streaming mp3 files. Should be fairly simple for anyone that has done this before.

April 6th, 2009 Comments off

I would like a flash player added to my website that would enable me to easily add mp3 files to the player in the admin panel and make it available for others to listen to.

These will be training mp3 files and can be up to 1 hour in length or 50-60 MB. This feature will be free to all.

Manually Rename Mp3 Files

April 4th, 2009 Comments off

I have about 1800 mp3′s, I would say approximately 1/2 of them need to be renamed to a specific format.
- Not all songs need to be renamed or reformatted; many of them are in the correct format.
- There can’t be any special characters, only spaces and hyphens
- You are not to use any automated renaming software

The songs need to be in the following format:
