Wpshopcart Will Not Let You Add More Than One Item

January 17th, 2012 Comments off

Need fixed, our customized wpShopCart plugin on our website is encountering problems when you try to add more than one product. When you add more than one product it defaults to the first one picked and adds it to that instead of the item you picked (ex. picked a blue/white band, add a black and pink band and it puts it as 2 blue/white when it should be one of each)

FTP and cPanel access will be given to resolve this plugin on our site.

Web 2.0 Creation & Maintenance

July 25th, 2009 Comments off

Hello,

I need you to do the following to set up and maintain Web 2.0 accounts for my clients using:

1. Manually set up accounts at the 10 sites below and connect them using their RSS feeds (I will supply video demonstration)
2. Use SeNuke software to create more accounts
3. email tracking sheet with UN and PW in excell format

Acccounts to be created manually: Word Press Blog, Twitter Account, Facebook Account, Linked In Account, Squiddo Lens, Hub Pages, Scribd, EZine Articles Account, Idea Marketers Account, Merchant Circle Account,Get Reponse Autoreponder Account

4. Spinnable article and links to be provided to you weekly – you input acnhor text for the links in the article
5. Manually submit article to the 12 sites above every other week, bookmark and submit RSS feeds with SENuke
6. Submit article to the SENuke accounts in step 2 every other week using all SENuke modules
7. Using photos and text to be provided – create one Animoto.com slide show video each month approx 30 seconds in length
9. Traffic Geyser Account information will be provided – create TRaffic Geyser Submission for videos. This can be done once at the beginning of the month and you select a timed submission over the course of the month
10. Create an automatic twitter feed using software that is to be selected. You will be provided with a months worth of “Tweets” (written text) and are to create and connect the account to the clinets twitter profile created in step 1 above.

This may sound complicated and look like a great deal of work. However, since all of the articles, photos and text will be provided, it is rather easy once the mechnics of the automated submission software are understood.

Time involved:

I see that manual account set up for step 1 above should take no more than 2 hours once you are experienced wiht the process.

I see that article submission manually evey other week to the 12 sites in step 1 should take no more that 2 hours

I see that article submission to the sites created by senuke should take no more the 2 hours

I see the video creation for the SENuke and Traffic Geyser usining Animoto.com slideshows should take no more than 30 minutes

I see the submission of the video using SENuke and Traffic Geyser should take no more than 2 hours

I see the Twitter “feed” should take no more than 20 minutes to create and load.

Total work per client profile should take no more than 10 hours for the first month – since most of the work witll be involved in account creation/ste-up. Thereafter, the only work will be in account maintenance which should total no more than 6-8 hours per month per client.

Please be prepared to hande at least 10 new clients per month while maintaining existing service for enrolled clients. My goal is to have at least 100 new clients in the next 12 months

If you are not familiar with SENuke or Traffic Geyser please visit their websites below. However, experience with these sites is preferred.

Joomla Module And Logo Help

July 21st, 2009 Comments off

Hello Scriptlance!

We have yet again turned to you guys for a little bit of help with our site www.AroundinSound.com. We need some logo work done, and we need our front page module installed correctly.

First of all,

We are using the refraction template from Rockettheme, and need to install the “RokNewsFlash” module as it looks on the example demo template on the RocketTheme site (http://demo.rockettheme.com/?template=refraction). We will provide the module, and where we need it installed. FTP Access will be given as well (if needed). I will set you up with a temp admin account to install the module. If you are familiar with Joomla, I am hoping that this should not take you more than 20-30 minutes to have done. There is a front page blog that needs to run through the module, and the images need to be set up properly.

Second of all,

We need some logo work done, and need all the files in .ai after everything is done. The first logos we need are modifications of the logo you already see on the home page of the site. These are very simple modifications, and will mostly be a matter of cutting and pasting or adding some more of the same text. I can provide the .ai file for your convenience. It should not take more than 20-30 minutes to get what we need done here.

The other logo will be based off of the first attachment. Once that is done, there will be slight modifications to it (mostly involving cutting and pasting) that will be very simple. Yet again, this entire process should not take more than 45 minutes.

We would like to get this project done today, or, within the next several hours. We are ready to start immediately.

Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Will be paying in Escrow through Scriptlance.

(sorry the attachment is upside down)

Looking forward to your bids!

Easy Backlinking Project

June 6th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for some to do 2 simple jobs:
1) First one involves making 3 account per website provided by myself and put in links as directed by myself. I want back links from approximately 240 websites (240 websites x 3 account per website). For this, I will give you some documents which will tell you how to register with every single website (some of them will work while other sites may not work but you will have enough options to have 240 websites). Firstly, you will need to create 3 accounts (with 3 different email addresses) with each website as will be directed in the document.
Secondly, for each website after the accounts have been created you have to place in links (the document will tell you how to do this). Approximately 7-15 links per account per site would be required if possible (some sites allow less). This link placement is not difficult as for more than 95% sites all you need to do is copy past the html code (which will be provided by me). To give you an idea I can easily do 15-20 sites every hour i.e. create an account, verify it (not all will require verification), log in and then put in the links in the form of html or sometimes using the WYSIWYG (depending on the site).
Thirdly, after you are done you will need to provide me with the link of the pages where the links are placed (the document lets you know how you can do this as well). Unfortunately that is the only way I can verify that you have done your job. This is a very straightforward job and should take you more than 2-3 days.
2) Second job is also very simple. Basically for this I will give you a website where you have to paste articles. Firstly, for the articles I will tell you exactly where to get them- They will be in foreign language. Secondly, you will need to use Google translate and copy paste that article in foreign language. Next, you will have to translate that article in English- you will notice that the article does not come out perfect with a lot of grammatical errors, this is OK. Thirdly, You will need to paste this article on a form on a website where you also have to place links and keywords (provided by myself) – this is very simple (you do not have to make accounts etc, it’s just a form). Once done you will select directories provided on the form where you want the article to be posted- again simple. Next you take a screen picture (for my reference) on the computer and hit submit. To give you an idea I can do this whole process and submit 30-40 articles every hour easily. I would need you to submit approximately 800 articles like this. This should be doable in 20-25 hours. Again you do not write articles. I will give you step by step instruction on how to do this.
New comers are more than welcome. I expect the job to be done in less than 30 days. For the first job- You will have to use email accounts created by myself. I will give you the password to the email accounts and the preferable login id and password for each site as well. You will need to verify account for some of the websites after you create an account. For the second site I will create an account and give you the log in for the website where you have to submit articles.
Let me know if you need to know anything else. This is a very straightforward job and you do not need any special computer skills for this. All instructions will be provided. Ask any question before bidding.

Article Re-writers Needed

May 29th, 2009 Comments off

I am in need of 100+ of articles to be written each month.

I will provide you with the articles. The original articles are around 400 to 900 words and I need them to be rewritten into at least 450+ words. If they are more than 900 words, you are allowed to break them into 2 articles with over 450 words. Payment is 1 USD per re-written articles that passed my requirements. The payment is paid for every 5 articles re-written, that means every 5 rewritten articles submitted back to me, you will receive 5 USD.

Here are the requirements.

- At least 65% unique from the original (I will check this via dupefreepro ; dupecop) and it has to pass copyscape. In order to achieve this requirement (65% unique), you will need to cut / add in some new sentences here and there within the articles. This is where your writing originality would be needed.

- 100% manually rewritten and not rewritten using any software (I personally have a article rewriting software so I would know if I am reading an article rewritten with a software)

- All articles need to be 450 or more words, not including title.

- Have correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. This is very important since I do not want to edit the re-written articles. When I get a badly rewritten article 3 times from you after you accept the job, I would consider that you are not serious enough to take the job and would immediately find another re-writer.

- The rewritten sentences must be completely different from the original. Changing just the words is very unacceptable. The rewritten sentences and paragraph must make sense.

-The rewritten article must be concise and must exhibit a coherent theme. All articles must be written with a logical flow from sentence to sentence and from paragraph to paragraph.

- An eye catching title would also need to be added to the article (it has to entice a reader to read the article)

- Submitted articles should either be in .doc format

- The first 5 rewritten articles MUST be submitted in 2 days for quality checking.

- Deadline: 1 day per 5-10 articles. Sooner better. I will not pay your work if you are in delay. You need to sent me the articles rewritten by batches every single day so that I know you are working on the project. On weekends, I will accept if no re-written articles are done.

- You agree that upon payment, all rights to the rewritten articles transfer to me. This means you will not sell, reproduce or re-use these articles in any manner, both online and offline.

- The articles include various topics include medical, pets, auto, home garden, laws, construction, real estate, child care, parenting, wedding and more. Please make sure you are able to write/rewrite articles in all these fields. There is no need to be an expert in the topic, however you will need to be able to rewrite it well.

- I heavily prefer for you to be able to chat online with me through yahoo IM for the project progress.

- I will give you 5 short articles to rewrite as test when you bid. This is a paid test. After the 5 test articles are re-written, you will receive your payment via paypal.

Please note that this is a long-term project.

Please bid only if you can fulfill the requirement at the above-mentioned rate and within the deadline mentioned. You can PM me your detailed proposal.

Please do not bother to bid if you are bidding more than 100 USD per 100 re-written articles. I would not consider any bids more than 100 USD per 100 re-written articles.

Remember to place your bid for every 100 articles. Only bids below 100 USD are considered.

Thanks

Advanced Userdatabase

May 26th, 2009 Comments off

Hi
I have a mySQL database where a user has a username and a password. I need an API that does the following:
Webmaster places 1 file on the root of the server. After that, in every form on the server that has a username and a password in same form, this will happen:
There will be a list that consists all the possible form names for a formname for ‘username’ and all the possible form names for a password form field. Whenever the user visits the site, whereto the webmaster has moved the file that installs the API, it will connect to my own database on a completely different server and extract and type in username in the username field and password in the password field. After this the user clicks ‘login’ and is now logged in, if the userdata from my mySQL database is correct. That means, the user logs into another site on the Internet using my MySQL database. After the user is logged into the other system the same thing will happen with every form field like ‘first name’. Whenever the script that checks the list with possible form names finds a form called one of these names, it will take the first name for the user that is logged in, and paste it so it is typed into the form field.
It is important that this API is very easy to install on the server. It doesnt have to be any specific, but there are two requirements: almost all users have to be able to upload it no matter what version of PHP/MySQL they use. The second one is that it cannot take more than 5 minutes for a webmaster without any IT knowledge to install the API on his server, so it has to be easy for everyone.

here is how i plan top do this:
when the webmaster triggers a php through a browser just like “www.yoursite.com/myscript.php” it will read every file in the server, finds those which has the words username password and “type=submit” inside , then it will override php script inside it putting a script and savving the file again. the script will contain a code just before the usual “if(isset($_POST['submit'])){” phrase that opens your mysqld database and do the authentication.

The other form names like “first name ” will be done in the same way .

it’ll be no more than some seconds to take the webmaster install this on the server, simple as putting the php file in the server and acessing it from the browser.

in the same way the script would read and resaving everyform that contains any of the name in a list of form-names, supose the list has 3 names: first-name, middle-name and sur-name then when the scripts is triggered from the browser it will read every file looking also for keywords like name=’first-name’ name=’middle-name’ and name=’sur-name’ then it will be replaced for a php script so name=’first-name’ would turn into name=<?php echo $firstnamevalue; ?> and so with the two others. Before that in the code line the instalation script would add some lines the would load the information from your database and passing it to the variables like this one $firstnamevalue. That would guarantee the script would automatically type the information on user’s browser.

But there are some issues before we start, and if the user uses different form-field names than the usual? Like use first#name instead of first_name ? or sur_name instead of sur-name? maybe we could use a wide list with some variations of the same form-field name, like for first name for example could be:
1-firstname
2-first-name
3-first#name
4-…
and so on…
But even doing that there are chances to find an server with form fields that not match the list… Because as a programmer he could has already a form field named donaldduck instead of username and mickey instead of password, his swebsite would work fine but my script wouldn’t.
I will make the list of all possibilities.

For each form name (first name, last name, username, password, age, height etc etc) there will be a list with around 1000 different possibilities. If a webmaster used another name, I will instruct him in changing his form fields. And users will be able to log into ALL sites that this script is installed on.

well i figured out a new trick to work out this cookie issue: the scripts reads the entire files and in the files it founds fields username and passwords it list all the cookies and sessions on it. then displays it on the new script instalattion page asks to the webmaster to choose it and press the install button. After that you will instruct him to make a self test opening a page he knows there is the fields username and password and make it by using a standard username password you will provide to him in the instructions manual example:(password=yourpassword and username=yourusername; ) So if the log in occur with succes the webmaster will know its everything ok. If it doesnt get success then he will return to the instalattion page that will be still open and simply change using the radio buttons to another cookie, look there will be not a huge amount of cookies to choose from, a maximum of 3 i think and a minimum of 1 of course. So in the worst cases he will not have to attempt more than 3 times. I think 99% of the webmasters will choose the right one on the first time. Because usually the name of the cookie or the session will be something close to “login” like “boollogin” or “isloggedin” or something like that.

What is important is that we operate with opensource solutions at least. That it works on all the major open source solutions. If we find out these open source solutions work we will have made a good step:
Magento, oscommerce, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop, wp-oscommerce, Zen Cart, opensourceCMS, openCMS, CMSimple, PHPnuke, typo3, Textpattern, DokuWiki, SMF, PhpBB2, PHPbb, Nucleur CMS, vBulletin, ecime – smarty shopping cart, Heikos.

The next thing is when the user is logged in. He should surf around on the site as he was a normal user. Everything he does on the site is saved in the sites own database, but with the username from my database.

I would suggest we do like this:
A user logs in to a site, lets say scriptlance. He creates a project, and that project is saved in scriptlances database. After a week he logs in again and sees the project under ‘my projects’. That means as soon as the user is logged in, the rest is saved on the sites’ server.

This script should be able to run with the webmasters own login script on his site.

Prototype Of “lg E-learning”

May 23rd, 2009 Comments off

Important note:
I will be using LG as a project name, however it does not imply in any way any association with the Korean electronics giant. I want everybody to be clear because some had inquired about it. NO RELATION.

LG in it’s simplest form is just a quiz-like interactive learning software. LG asks a question and user responses. The asking and responses are done in a number of possible formats: text, graphical, video, or voice. If the response is voice (it’s established beforehand what kind of response to expect) LG will record it for a specified and limited amount of time. The scope of this PROTOTYPE PROJECT is only limited to voice response.

In relation to my other project (LG e-learning website), which is actually the same project, I will simplify my requirements so that it will only include limited functionality and serve as a demo-version/prototype. It will serve to demonstrate the following aspects:
- It displays exercise questions and records student’s answer in an efficient manner. No noticeable delay in between. i.e. At the end of a question the program will automatically turn to recording mode and instantly ready to record the student’s answer. It would help to have an “ON AIR” red-light that comes on the screen to signal that recording has started. At the end of the time limit the “ON AIR” light goes out and recording is stopped.
- How well you design the interface. Rule of thumb, simple is better. So a 7-or-67-year-old can get right on it with little difficulties.
- Ample space between items, big buttons for use with touch screen interface.
- Use of color to give a nice consistent theme throughout the design. At the same time use it sparingly, or in other words, only when you want to signify something or draw attention to a certain item/part of the screen. Remember, it’s education, contemporary/contrast (as opposed to classic/old, subdued, dimmed), clean straightforward letters, bright (white background is ALMOST a must).
- How well you utilize the screen real-estate especially when it comes to the teacher grading screen. As a mentioned in the other project’s post, the teacher screen must be very efficent and highly functional to accomodate the workload of grading a vast number of students’ exercise. As this is just a prototype you can just mock-up some icons and explain what they do (better yet, self-explanatory) without having to program anything into it. However (YOU MUST PROGRAM) the listening to students’ answers and be able to assign a right/wrong tag to it MUST BE DONE and be fully working. Again here, I will see how fast your code is responding as such that, human-operator is the limiting factor as far as speed is concerned.
- Anything else beyond the above-mentioned will be left upon your discretion as well as creativity as seasoned programmers tend to incorporate their signature into and take pride in their work. I trust that you will deliver above and beyond expectation. Happy Bidding FOR PROTOYPE ONLY.

Finish Our Cubecart Mod

May 16th, 2009 Comments off

we developed a custom cubecart mod that basically allows the user to add “option groups” to a product, add a rich text description to each group AND option item, prioritize the display of each group AND item.. so we have the whole back end of this built and most of the front end.

we now need the front end completed because the developer that we had for this module has not responded to any of our requests so we are stuck with a module that is half finished .. please help us!

I will be glad to give access to the site and much more details but the action items for the mod as it currently stands are:
1) default item being selected is the first one with a price it should be the first one in THAT group
OR
2) Allow the user to Specify default selection for that radio group
3) correct the nesting of the radio groups… is not working it is basically not ending that group before starting another
4)Create an install doc explaining the install process of the mod…can show you which files are more than likely the changed set before you begin…
5) image uploader in cubecart need correction it says /images/ should say /images/uploads
6) Change Custom SEO URL to work for site docs

expect you to be avail for 2-3 hours a day via instant messenger for the duration of the project … from what i can see of the work here it doesn’t really look like it shoudl go more than 2 or 3 sessions of this sort of time frame. For the right developer that is prompt, communicates well and understands wordpress and cubecart development there may be much more than this project available.

here’s the page not displaying the product options correctly:
http://tinyurl.com/cnsworld

the product option “Motherboard – Asus P6T-Deluxe” is not separated visually or via a field set from the other options .. it needs to be separated in both ways.

right now the setup is a table i need it to be a field set with lables and separate field sets for each option set…

the display of the mod you are looking at was inspired by:
http://www.alienware.com/customize/area-51-750i-desktop.aspx?SysCode=PC-A51-750I&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT

you can view the back end where i specified to the original programmer the ability to

1) build radio groups
2) add rich text descriptions to a group
3) add a banner header to each group
4) feature a radio option
5) feature a radio group
6) selection of option ajax updater the price.

most of this functionality IS already there it just needs to be tweaked to look and function like the alienware model…

once logged into admin in you can view the UI details of the mod by going to:
/admin.php?_g=products/options

most of this is housed in:
/admin/sources/products/options.inc.php

and is commented well to be easily read …

there is SSH avail …

so basically from configuration on the back end it needs to function and look like the display on the alienware site…

Finish Our Cubecart Mod

April 19th, 2009 Comments off

we developed a custom cubecart mod that basically allows the user to add “option groups” to a product, add a rich text description to each group AND option item, prioritize the display of each group AND item.. so we have the whole back end of this built and most of the front end.

we now need the front end completed because the developer that we had for this module has not responded to any of our requests so we are stuck with a module that is half finished .. please help us!

For the right developer that is prompt, communicates well and understands wordpress and cubecart development there may be much more than this project available.

hope to hear from you soon!

Auction Web Site

April 2nd, 2009 Comments off

In the registration page I want a section for the user to type in their address also for shipping purposes. In the control panel their should be specific information for the auctions that have ended. these are the following. ( the name of the item, picture, cost of item for the user to pay, item code number, time and date ended, users email address, and the users first and last name. ) When the bidster is used in a fixed price auction I want the users to still be able to have set their bidster to bid to a max amount , because the price will still go up, but all they will have to pay is the fixed price. In the control panel their should be a spot for me to add text in any auction to add specials on certain items. In the fixed price auctions the users checkout price should always be what the fixed price is set to; no matter what the actual bidding price went up to. I want to set up a reminder page for the users that have not yet paid for their items. With the name of the item, the balance due, a picture of the item, and the item code number ; even if they log out and log back in. But they should still be able to bid on other items. All of this should be displayed after the animated lady congratulates the user. I want to be able to type in a date and time of when each auction will end from the control panel and to be shown live in each auction. This way an auction will not linger for long periods of time. In the control panel their should be an option to set an auction for a fixed price or the price that is shown when an auction ends. I want to incorporate a feature called a bidster{reference swoopo.com} their feature is called a bid butler. I want mine to be called bidster. The bidster will bid on the behalf of people that wants the bidster to bid for them when someone out bids them. To activate the bidster people will have to put at least $40 into their bidster account. Bonus bids will only be accessed through their bidster account. You can qualify for bonus bids in several ways. Here are the ways to qualify for bonus bids. 1. If you invite a friend to annieup; when that friend actually purchase bids with us the invitee will qualify for 20 bids in their bidster account. 2. Check the box to sign up for the newsletter you get 10 extra bids but only one time per account. I don’t want them to be able to cheat the system by keep signing in and out of the newsletter. 3. If they purchase bids with us on or before April 1st. they qualify for 10 bids. One time only; I don’t want them to be able to get 10 extra bids every time they buy bids before that date. 4. Some Package bids have extra bids that comes with the package. –package 1. $10 you get 10 bids –package 2. $20 you get 23 bids(the 3 extra bids goes to bidster) –package 3. $50 you get 62 bids(The 12 extra bids goes to bidster) –package 4. $100 you get 130 bids (the 30 extra bids into bidster) –package 5. $200 you get 300 bids(100 extra bids into bidster) –package 6. $500 you get 1000 bids (500 extra bids into bidster) 5. You qualify for 5 bids just for registering. I want to have 1 account per household. 6. written testimonials qualify for 10 extra bids. 7. video testimonials qualify for 30 extra bids. Instead of having to put $40 in their bidster to activate it you have to put 40 bids in the bidster to activate it. The name of the site is ANNIE UP (www.annieup.com) I would like for customers to pay through paypal and credit cards. I want to be able to control which items go up 1cent, 5cent, or 10cent every time you bid. I also want to control the tick time of each item. The tick time is the time that winds down. I want to be able to pause any of the auctions for any reasons. I also want a winners page And a testimonials page. Each item should have a tick time, a picture of the item, the name of the item, the retail price of the item, the amount saved, the price that is actually going up every bid, and the users name that last bid. I want the amount saved to adjust every time someone bids. I want the user to be able to either click on the picture or the name of the item and see a detailed description of the item listed. I also want to be able to list an item in my administration site that is automatically listed when an auction ends so I don’t have to list a new item manually every time that particular auction ends. This is one of the most important features. I would like you guys to create a logo to place in my auction (100 free bids, 500 free bids, and 1000 free bids {reference swoopo.com} I would like the same done for cash $100, $500,$1000. I want to be able to type in an auction Id to load to load it into the administration site. This way when an auction ends I can reference an existing auction Id that is saved for future reference. When an auction is under 30 seconds: I want a flashing slogan that says (just a few seconds left). I want to incorporate the same type of features in the register and help pages from swoopo.com I want a news bulletin to always flash across the screen of the home page; stating the name of product, amount of the end price, with the users name when an auction ends.(reference swoopo.com). I want the graphics on the home page (pictures of different products) to switch around to have an animated feel to the home page. An eye catcher.(reference Items on swoopo.com home page.) I want a buy bids button on every page with an invite a friend logo under it. I want to add a feature to the bidster for people to be able to control and automatic bid if the product that the person is bidding on gets below 30 seconds. I want an alert to sound for customers that are running low of bids.( alert if under 20 bids). I want to be able to end or pause a live auction from the administration site if i need to change the tick time of the auction after a specific amount of time or manually. I want to be able to put as many items as I like in the categories for future listings (reference swoopo.com) I want the homepage to consist of different categories of items that are about to end (reference swoopo.com)When there is less than 30 minutes left on that auction; 10 items that are under 30 minutes and a list of items that are in live auctions from different categories(reference swoopo.com. I want to be able to copy and paste pictures and description of items into my administration site. I want seperate sections in the administration site to post the picture of an item, description of the item, and the name of an item; with an auction Id so I can reference back to that item at any time without having to type it in again. I would like you guys to create an attractive sound for every time someone wins an auction. I want box to appear on every users screen with the auction that was won, price ended, and users name. with a logo that says (congratulations Username you have won this item). But I want the box to appear animated to bring it to life. I want another sound effect when someone clicks on one of the items pictures or name of item; with an animated effect to go into the details of that product. But only on the persons computer that clicks on that item. And a different sound effect when that person bids on an item. If a user wins an item; I want a computerized lady to appear on their screen only to congratulate them. (sound effects and animation to the fullest extent). I want to incorporate all of the features that swoopo.com has when someone clicks on their items (bid history, register now, enlarged picture of the item, what the item recently sold for, savings, a place for people to place their ads at the bottom of page for that particular item, a detailed description of that item, and a place for different pictures of an item to be enlarged. The rewards page consists of the different ways that users can earn extra bids. I have listed several different ways that users can earn extra bids the numbered list will be on the rewards page. I want the bid to light up or highlight every time someone bids on an item(reference swoopo.com) when users register I want to reward them with 20 extra bids when they buy $50 or more worth of bids on their first purchase. Place this page in the help tab How does the Bidster work? How does the Bidster decide when exactly to place my Bids? Our Bidster is instructed to be as frugal as possible when bidding. That’s why they wait until the last 10 seconds of the auction countdown to place your bids. When there are two or more Bidsters set on the same auction, they duke it out there and then, placing all their bids immediately. This tit for tat battle means that the price and countdown both increase with each bid placed. (We do this so that bidders can easily see the auctions that will end soon unless another bid is placed). We have a few simple rules about how your Bidster can be used – just remember these when telling your Bidster when to bid: * You must use at least two bids when setting a Bidster: if you just want to place a single bid, just click the bid button. * Your maximum price has to be at least one U.S. dollar (US$1) higher than the current end price. * Once the bidding has reached the

Black Jack C++ Help

April 2nd, 2009 Comments off

Background

For this assignment, you complete a program to play the game of “Twenty-one” (also called “Blackjack”).

The general idea of Twenty-one is as follows. There are two players, the customer and the dealer. The dealer deals a card face down to the customer, then a card face up to herself (the up-card), then another card to the customer and another card to herself, both face down. In most cases, the customer may then ask for more cards, one at a time. The dealer does the same, and the hand is resolved. The object of the game is to be dealt a set of cards whose total value is as close to 21 as possible without going over.

Cards are dealt from a deck of 52. There are four cards in the deck with value 2, four with value 3, and so on up to value 9; there are sixteen cards with value 10 (four 10′s and twelve face cards: four jacks, four queens, and four kings); and there are four cards (“aces”) whose value may be either 1 or 11 depending on the value of a player’s remaining cards. For both players, an ace counts 11 unless the hand total is more than 21, in which case it counts 1.

For our purposes, the actual play of the game proceeds as follows. Each player receives two cards as described above. If the dealer’s cards total 21

Tracking And Redirect Script

March 22nd, 2009 No comments

Hi,

I need a tracking/redirect script that works like this:

1) I send the surfer to http://domain.com/lander.php?c=CAMPAIGNHERE&k=KEYWORDHERE where KEYWORDHERE is an actual keyword I’m passing to the url and CAMPAIGNHERE is the name of the campaign.

2) The script then converts the value of $k to a 6 digit numeric code and the campaign it can leave alone…the campaign will never be more than three letters.

3) The script stores the real value of $k and its corresponding numeric code along with the campaign in a database and logs one visitor for that keyword and campaign.

4) The surfer gets directed to http://domain.com/lander2.php?s=abcd123456

where 12345 is the numeric code and abc is the unaltered campaign name. That’s it for the redirection.

5) I need to be able to see, in a password-protected backend, each value of k, its campaign, and how many visitors it got. So it would look like this:

Campaign Code Keyword Visitors
abcd 523483 buy widgets 41
abcd 238913 widget coupons 28

I should be able to search by campaign if I want to. So I could get all the stats for campaign ‘abcd,’ all the keyword for campaign ‘defg,’ etc. and only see those keywords.

Some things to keep in mind:

- $k will sometimes have spaces, *, -, and . in it. So the script will need to still work if there is a space or an asterisk or a dash or a period in it and still correctly perform the redirect. There will never been an & in $k, though.
- The backend must be password-protected. No need for usernames though. I’m the only one using it. I should be able to change the password in a config file somewhere.
- There will be around 10,000 visitors per day hitting this script. So keep the code as lean and efficient as possible.
- This is probably obvious, but the script needs to check to see if that keyword code already exists. If the keyword code already exists, don’t add a new one, just count a visitor for that keyword. If the keyword code does not already exist, then you have to create a new one.
- It is possible for campaign abcd and defg to have the same keyword. In other words, “buy widgets” could exist in both campaign abcd and defg. So the script will need to take that into account…the stats would have to be separate still. Don’t add visitors to abcd’s “buy widgets” if campaign defg is sending them. They should be considered two separate keywords.
- This is optional, but you will probably want to store the values in the database as abcd539214, defg458394, bleh941102. That would ensure that abcd100000 and defg1000000 are different. But however you want to do it is your call.
- Campaign will never be more than 3 letters and keyword code will never be more than six digits.

Any questions, free free to ask. Will you pay with escrow, and I’m available through email or AIM to talk to you.

[btw, those shouldn't be &amp's above, they should just be the 'and' sign, scriptlance doesn't let you post the sign in here]

Javascript Async Script Loader

March 19th, 2009 No comments

A jQuery function is needed to load other javascript files in parallel. After the script is loaded a provided callback function needs to be called.

Requirements:
* This function must wait for all scripts to be loaded before calling the callback function.
* It’s possible to have more than one callback function for the same dependencies or other dependencies. They must be queued to wait for its dependent scripts to load as soon as its required scripts are loaded.
* Scripts should not be loaded more than once. If more than one script requires the same script, only one load should be done.
* A script may be required by one script which is required by another script. jquery.js and requireonce.js (this function) will always be loaded with the regular method (script tag). See bellow:

index.html
/ |
/ |
jquery.js | requireonce.js
|
|
————-
| | |
t1.js t2.js t3.js
| |
/ —
t4.js t5.js t6.js
| |
t7.js ———-/

Calling method (jquery plugin):
$.requireOnce(array of scripts, callback, caller script [unless you find a way to avoid this parameter], charset);

Example:
$.requireOnce(["/js/test1.js","/js/test2.js"],do_something(),”/js/somescript.js”,”ISO-8859-1″);

The reason we need to load scripts in parallel is explained here

Also if you can give me any suggestions on how to upload video faster on the site that be great… Like any software that you can implement or any thing that you can do to make upload of video files faster…

Send me an email giving me the price for all of this or if you can do part of the job send me price partly… and i will give you my website name for you to look at my current site…
