I wish to make a javascript app which site owners can place in their own website code to display a modal window on entry to their site. The javascript should load a modal window and content from my server.
I would like it work in the following way:
1: When the javascript is installed the site owner needs to set an id.
2: Upon first entry to site the modal window should open on the site (modal design will be supplied based on an example)
3: Seperate php script needs to be made that produces html to go inside the modal. This will be an image with url.
4: javascript needs to request my content page with the id of the javascript installation. The page on my server (php) needs to generate content with a url to click on which contains that id. So for example, you should create a php file for my server that outputs an image (as the content) and make that image clickable with a url set in the settings of the file, then add the following to the url ¶metername=JAVASCRIPTINSTALLID.
Next the script should log the following information:
1: url the javascript modal is called from, timestamp of call.
2: Any referrer information
3: If anyone clicks the link inside the modal it should timestamp too.
I would like a simple page report that lists the following, day by day over a month, but also ability to select by month and also date range:
1: Total amount of javascript modal opens by day
2: Total amount of clicks
3: List of domains the modals were called from, along with opens and clicks for each domain name. When i click on each domain i wish to see a list of referrers for that time period for the domain.
This is not a really complicated job but it is important that whoever takes the task does it straight away and not queued or passed to other people. I want a quick, clean, tidy job to completion. I will pay via escrow for the person that offers to do the job all in one day or two days from start to finish. I will be available to work with that person at the same time to answer any questions.
Basically what i am trying to achieve is to be able to make images for the modal containing offers and deals, so that the website owner does not have to. If the user clicks on the image in the modal then i need to be able to track which site the user clicked from which is why i need you to pass the ids to me in the url. It’s quite a simple little script but it needs to work exactly how i have stated for it to work.
I installed the plugin called “Modal Dialog” for WordPress. It is designed to launch a lightbox window when the user visits my website. The plugin seems to be conflicting with other plugins, and I believe it’s because they are loading different versions of jQuery. I need a programmer to debug this and make it so that the new plugin will work on my site.

This should take a jQuery expert only a few minutes to complete.
First: I have a jQuery modal script that works just fine except for one thing: if you click a link in the modal, the new page opens in the modal. I want the modal to close and the new page to open in the regular window (replacing the parent). I can get that behavior by adding target=_parent to every link on the modal page, but that’s a poor solution. The behavior should be built into the script.
Second: When the modal opens in Internet Explorer, the font is jagged. This is a well-known issue caused by jQuery fade-ins and fade-outs. I’ve tried the usual solutions; nothing works.
That’s it. I can send the script in advance to anyone interested so you can determine whether you’re able to fix these issues.
This project is a drupal theming/configuration job that requires good ajax/js knowledge. In attachment the interaction model required. The purpose is to display a content node inside a fancy modal window (height fixed). The modal window will show the content into 2 tabs: “description” and “comments”.
1) On tab clicking it will load the tab’s content by ajax (check switch_tab_loading.jpg)
2) Drupal comments interaction model should be ajaxified:
- clicking on “submit comment” makes the comments tab reload itself for showing the new comment inserted without closing the modal window (check after_submitComment.jpg).
- comments pagination should work by ajax.
