I want the program to do the following thing: I need it to sniff the network packages from my computer (or the computer on which it runs) and detect the incoming/outgoing Yahoo Messenger packages… But only the ones which contain messages to or from users (not ID lists or stuff like that). After it gets the packages I need to change them before sending/presenting them to the users. I don’t know if I’m clear enough. I want a program that will encrypt Yahoo Messenger conversations, and I think that this is the only way to do it, sniff the traffic, get and change the packages and then send them. If you can think of another way, I’m opened to suggestions. I can handle the encryption part myself, so all I need is a program that will get all the yahoo messenger packages, change the text content and then continue with sending/receiving them.

I own the domain instmsg.com and a 2gb memory VPS with enough space and bandwidth for this project, and i’m starting a messenger service like windows live and yahoo messenger/aol messenger. I’m using Jabber Server specifically openfire server for the backend/server site, and i need a customized version of Spark jabber Client as the frontend, basically it is an opensource java messenger and i have instructions on how to compile and edit and even brand it. I need a logo created and a few other graphics as well as the text changed everywhere to my own company name InstMSG, and the server box so it defaultly has our server text in it and a few buttons removed, and the logo to link to our site. Also a jabber signup link on our site that signs them up to our server (i have instructions for that also) and a site design created for the messenger (nothing fancy just a good basic design with a few pages). The pages can be in HTML with PHP and the messenger project is Java

Reputable company is seeking an expert developer in VB .NET or Adobe flex to create a desktop application for us.

This application is not actually something difficult to do if you have the experience to do it. The whole idea is that this application should connect to our web server which is a vps server and authenticate what the user enters on username and password against the MySQL database on our server to check if the person is of one of the two roles available.

After validating, user should be able to have that application running on the systray and from there it should display bubble notifications when specific things occur with the database. Like when a new record changes on a specific table or when a specific field changes on database.

There are two roles, the notifications for each of the roles is different than the notifications for the other role. Application should also be able to show always who is online and allow to send chat invitations.

This project also involves creating a PHP page on which people running this application can communicate through live chat so you should implement a chat web application as well. We should be able to review all the chat logs between conversations between them whenever we want to.

We would prefer if this application can be made to work not only with windows but also with Linux and other operating systems. However, if you can only make it work on windows, then that will be accepted too.

It’s important that the notifications appear in an attractive way (like in nice looking bubbles) and they should appear as soon as possible but they should not interrupt what user is doing. Colors of the application and design should match the colors of my website.
