i want to create a site that inputs locations and meeting times and creates a google maplet that pinpoints them. Each pinpoint should hyperlink to pages with more details about meetings and contacts etc.

Then from the meeting pages we should be able to email (and sms) members and be kept up to date with what is happening with a particular group. In effect, plugging in to a news feed for that group.
