Maya Project (3d)

Hi, Create an animation short based upon below mentioned description.

Visual impact of the animation:

You have to animate a character (thief) getting in to a jewelry shop for stealing the cash and expensive jewelry inside the shop you have to animate the character’s expressions through his walk (sneak), facial expression and body movement, he gets in to the shop through window successfully, walk here and there to find out the cash and other expensive items, he collects all the cash and jewelry and got caught in the end through a funny situation.

You have to visualize the last scene (being taking into custody) of this description with some funny moments.

Note:
a) It has to be a 3D animation (Audio / Visual).
b) It would be 1 minute (maximum) animation.
c) You have to make a smart and smooth animation with attractive visuals.

This project is for an student so i don’t have much budget for it.

Thank you.

Maya Experts – Ongoing Project

Summary: I need a character developed (drawn and rigged) in Maya, I will then need this character animated in Maya.

I have multiple images of a stick figure character attached – I would like a talented person or team of people to create this character in Autodesk Maya – this character needs to be modeled and rigged and then a small test animation to show it working.

Step 1:
Create a 3D model of the character shown in the images – this model needs to be very high quality.
The wire frame mesh of this character needs to be professional – the texture also needs to be exactly the same as the samples provided.
Including the teeth and smile.

Step 2:
Create a highly realistic rigging of this model.
The character will need to walk, jump, turn its head, wave its hand etc…. all of this needs to be rigged like a human, especially the teeth/smile as this will be the characters only expression.

Step 3:
Animate
I would like the character to walk onto screen from the left (the charater would start off 12 feet away from the camera), turn towards the camera (has a cheeky smile) and takes a few steps forward – so it looks like the character is looking into the camera.

He then pulls the Logo out from behind his back, throws the Logo into the camera.

The logo throw should be a semi-hard thorw – the logo will hurl towards the camera and stick to the screen – I want the users to see the logo clearly (you may need to remake the again as a vector).

When the logo hits the screen, all of the screen background space is covered and you can no longer see the character in the background.
—————–

The whole scene should take about 7 seconds.

In your bid, please break down the costs for both Character creation, and animation costs.

Eg:
$300 for character creation and rigging
$55 per each 5 seconds on animation

The programmer that wins the project will be given 2-3 animations per weeks (generally about 5 seconds each) to animate this character in Maya doing business related tasks.
There will not be any background in the animations – just the simple character.

Maya Animator

This is just a small intro video – it will be the intro for all new e-learning courses.

I need it created in Maya.

Attached is a Maya character – its been designed and rigged.

Attached is a company logo.

Attached is a video sample of the style and movement I would like.

The whole scene should take about 10 seconds.

This is my first time contracting an animator – if it works out well there will be many many more small projects like this to follow.

There is no audio.
The walk and throw needs to look realistic.
The quality needs to be high web quality – things like camera shake, blur/focus effects (to make it look like a real camera) would be really nice.
The background should be white – but use shading to give depth perception.

The output needs to be FLV/SWF + MOV.

Please show working examples.

Convert Maya 3d Model To Png

May 20th, 2009 Comments off

I have purchased a Maya 3D model of a pet and I am interested in using it to export different ‘poses’ as images.
Specifically I need someone familiar with Maya (8.5 or newer) to export it into 4 layers (png files)
The model is using Shave and Haircut so you would need to have that installed on your computer.
