Am looking for developer to partner with to develop a video aggregation site. I have identified mashable components (Mozilla Download Helper and VLC Player) that need to be intermediated with a database. Goal is for back-end database to be populated (via crawler hopefully leveraging Download Helper) with videos from specific news sites on the web. Videos in the database would be manually catergorized by my team to feed the user interface.

User interface would allow user to specify the news catergories they care about (e.g. Baseball->Detroit Tigers, Business->US Stock Market, and Celeb Gossip->Hip Hop) and embedded VLC player would then run these clips off of playlist. Playlist pulls in video clips from the database via the specified catergories and users defined preference for the length of playing time.
