2) You may choose which regions to search (USA, Canada, UK, etc.).

4) The application would read from a flat file for batch search terms

5) The application would return the specified information in a flat file

My online store uses Virtuemart. I would like to be able to add discounts to all parts by manufacturer. I want to add MSRP for all parts, then control their prices in the store by altering the manufacturer discount percentage. This would then adjust all prices in the store under that manufacturer.

One way of doing this is making it so the Product Discount feature has a name, rather than it being named by the percentage number. That way I can create different discounts named after the manufacturer and apply them to the products.

Another way is modifying AWO Coupon Pro so that it works in the store rather than just checkout. I already have this plugin installed.

This should be a very simple feature to add!

I’m conducting research to see if you may have already developed a stand-alone application that does something similar to the following:

Application Description: The application searches Amazon, Ebay and possibly other sites and returns all the information about the product stored in that sites database. We offer a job to complete all the information about a product catalog we need. This job may be done manually or using software developed for this (preferably). We need to obtain specific data of products (about 700 products models, about 53 brands). The required information will be obtained from some manufacturers websites provided below.

This would be the sequence for each product:

1 .- Find the model of each product listed in the manufacturer’s website.
2 .- Write the name of the manufacturer on the cell.
3 .- Write the category/subcategory on the sheet, to each product model corresponding.
4 .- Get the website of the manufacturer, the description, characteristics and write them on the sheet.
5 .- Download the product image in a folder with the same product name of the product.

Notes:

- The information must be completed in Spanish. This is not a problem because the info will be copy/pasted.
- Pictures of the products should be named with the same name as the model is provided.
- This operation can be performed manually or accept the development of software to do it automatically (we can negociate the budget in this case).
- The name of the categories to be completed in the cells are in spanish, but it provides the English translation.
- It provides an excel file with a product as an example. In the first sheet, you can see the sample, and you can see all categorys in the next sheets.

We presently maintain a database of used vehicles and wish to develop an advanced search tool. This HTML form should have the following fields:
Manufacturer
Model
Minimum Price
Maximum Price

The database maintains just one field for the vehicle called ‘description’ and this is a full description of vehicle in the format, such as:
Vauxhall Corsa 3dr 1.2 Sxi

Obviously this information needs split, dropping the irrelevant information (number of doors, engine size, trim level) and keeping the manufacturer (Vauxhall) and model (Corsa).

It should be noted that not all manufacturers are one word (e.g. Aston Martin) and not all models are one word (e.g. ‘Grand Vitara’ or ’3′) Please advise how you intend to approach this issue.

The database changes weekly; as such, the PHP / HTML form should automatically update to the vehicles present and NOT show any manufactuers / models that are not held in stock.

Further, the form elements should auto-update, so when a manufacturer is selected, only the in-stock and relevant models are displayed.

Very easy job for an experienced graphic designer. Need to create a company Line Card for manufacturer’s representative. The linecard must be designed in a portrait orientation and contain both one logo, the manufacturer and a brief list of the manufacturer’s products. All manufacturers must fit on a single page; there will be 8 manufacturers. The end product shall include the following formats: editable master file; pdf file suitable for high quality color printing; and HTML file for including in web site.

I have two stores using Joomla 1.5 and Virtuemart 1.1.3 that both have multiple drop shippers from different locations. I have the need to calculate shipping charges with UPS, USPS and FEDEX by manufacturer, by product.

For instance, someone buys a pair of shoes from one manufacturer who uses USPS only and ships from California, and a shirt from another manufacturer who only uses USPS and ships from New York. It is also possible that they purchase multiple items from one manufacturer and one from the other. I want to be able to call the USPS, UPS or FEDEX online shipping calculators to get the correct shipping for the products from multiple origin locations to one destination. A bonus would be to allow for multiple item shipping discount by manufacturer, but not required.

I always have one manufacturer tied to a product and I always upload the weight of the product.

I am designing a website where I need the following:

On the products page, there are two drop down menus. One is for the product type, and one is for manufacturer. Once the user has chosen product type, the 2nd drop down updates to show all the manufacturers selling that product type.

For this project I need a drop down product attribute that would allow the customer to choose a manufacture from one drop-down menu and then after they selected the manufacture they would have a second drop down that would allow them to select the model.

Example:

Manufacture: Motorola

Model: V3

For each manufacture it will have its own list of models so if the manufacturer Motorola had the model V3 to manufacture blackberry would not have this model. I will need to be able to set up around 25 different manufacturers and each manufacturer is going to have around 100 different devices. The customer will need to select their manufacturer and model before being able to add a product to their shopping cart.

Need someone with Joomla 1.5/Virtuemart experience to create a custom shipping module. This is an urgent requirement and previous demonstrated experience of virtuemart is essential.

Shipping module is to operate as follows:

The rules are specified for calculating price of shipping based on items in the shopping cart. The challenge is that to calculate the cost it is necessary to step through each item in the cart and check its manufacturer to arrive at a total shipping price.

1. From the new prdt page in OSCMAx admin I need to be able to have multiple drop down lists for color, sizes etc.. – adding product templates on the new product page.

2. On a product page under the add to cart button have a text box where people can add the quantity of how many items they want & another text box for their US zip code to get a list of estimated shipping costs from ground shipping to over night, 3 day, 2 day shipping costs.

3. From the new prdt page in OSCMAX admin I need to activate the individual shipping rate for a prdt & also keep current real time shipping rates at the same time. I want to have the option to use both for shipping rates.

4. From the new prdt page in OSCMAx admin (Email order project function) Most of our orders are shipped from the mnfr to the customer & some orders we ship to the customer. On certain orders, not every order I need the order to be sent directly
to the manufacturers email address. And I need to be able to check a box or something in the new prdt page that will designate this order be emailed to the manufacturer.
The reason why is, I ship certain items from my store & some orders ship from the manufacturer. I need to get a copy of that email sent to the mnfr.

Now I need to be able to add any email of the manufacturer has to a drop down list, because I deal with hundreds of different manufacturers. I also need the ability to edit or delete their emails from the list. I have the format of the email to be sent to
