I an creating a shopping portal but we are struggling to find the right images to use for the main page.
We have decided to use the services of a graphics designer to build the basic images needed to fit together to create the needed environment. Resizable images are needed for
1) a shopfront which can be duplicated next to each other to make them look like various shop fronts in a modern USA style mall. The shop front will have a sign section at the top of the image that our devellopers can enter in the name of the shop, and also a mainly see through shop window that the developers can put different images “behind” representing the different categories of products.
2) handrail components (horizontal and vertical supports) which can be added on top of other images to create “a second floor” for the mall
3) an escalator picture which will be shown on the left side of the screen for the bottom floor
4) if it could be done in such a way that we could also show a floor and ceiling of the mall, this would be good, but not necessary provided we can achieve the overall desired end result.

The graphics artistdesigner will be expected to work in with the development company to provide a workable sollution.

I want to be able add pictures for each item, a price, a description, and discount codes that our consumer can use. I would also want it to be connected to usps so the users can choose different shipping rates and accordingly charge the users. Once the user purchases an item, I would like it to send a confirmation email to the email address they used confirming the order and give it a order number for further reference. The user can either log in and have an account with us or they can sign in as a guest. Once signed in the user can view his orders, view his tracking information and they can pick their favorite products. Users can checkout using either their credit card information, Paypal or Google checkout. The user will have an option to choose which checkout method he wants. You can use existing frameworks to get this done and recommend to me which one will work best.

We are looking for quotes for an ethnic-themed online mall website that would serve as venue for buying and selling goods. This is not an auction site. This site will be modeled after “www.Etsy.com” but features a Filipino-inspired theme. We require submissions for 2 types of bids:
Bid 1: Web Development & Design for an online mall venue built completely from scratch.
Bid 2: Web Development and Design for an online mall venue that will require modification of an off-the-shelf software called iBoutiqueMall (see http://www.netartmedia.net/mall).
Our purpose is to compare costs and determine the most responsive bid.

My client has an Xcart Pro installation and has had Qualiteam do some mods on it already. They have updated it to include a provider registration form for automatic provider applications and a payment script that automatically calculates a fee (listing fee and %age commission) that is left in the administrators account with the balance transferred to the relevant providers account automatically. Unfortunately the automatic payment part cannot be utilized as the script they have won’t work on any gateways available in Australia. So part one of the quote is, Can anyone write an automated script that will calculate and transfer funds in Australia.

My client also wants to add a Mall style function to the site. Its basically the Xmall upgrade they offer on the Xcart site, so that the providers all have their own store and people can’t purchase items in the same shopping cart between stores, to stop multiple shipping costs basically. The site administrator still has overall financial control so they will still be able to collect their commissions or fees.
