I have a magento module that was customary built to allow customers to choose a additional service on checkout.
The problem is that when the customers dont choose an option the module keeps on defaulting to a option without it being chosen.
I need to be able to turn the module off from within the admin panel and to stop the defaulting issue.

meed to add an option to my customers to add a serial number to their account. they can add as many numbers to the products they buy from my shop or from other shops. must be managed from within the account information page and admin should have ability to view it. date of adding the number is impotant. product name to eacg serial is important. also i need to have the system informs if someone try to add a serial number in 2 accounts or products so i dont have duplicated serials. also i want to have a filed of valid serial numbers. exmple. from aaa111 to bbb555.
