I have an Excel file that I need cleaned up with a script or macro. There are 22,000 rows so I don’t have time for a manual project.

I’ve attached a sample that shows the issues:

1. ALL CAPS fixed. CHILDRENS FUND = Childrens Fund, etc. all cells

2. On some rows the data is in the wrong cell. When done I want only these columns:

Company
Name
Address 1
Address 2
City
State
Zip
Phone
Title

So for instance data that is in Phone 2 must be moved to Phone 1, data in State 2 move…

The information will be labeled differently in most counties.
You will need to go to each county and find the content.
For example I requested the Physical address; the county may label this information as (Site Location or Physical Location or some other label) What I need is the address no matter how it is labeled.

When the macro is completed, I need to know which county in what state the macro is for. I also need to know what the requested info is labeled as – for example if (Physical Address) was labeled “site address” I need to know that.

I am looking for a skilled excel vba macro programmer.
Its a very simple task of transfering matching data and just creating some calculations on that data. There are a few sheets in the workbook, but its the same data as such and same calculations.
So you will need to transfer the data from one sheet depending if it matched the name and date from the row in another sheet in that workbook and then perform calculations.
This is a small project and budget, but the selected programmer has the opportunity to work more on other projects on this workbook.

I have an excel sheet with first names and gender data in different columns. the problem is —-but some gender info is blank. i want to attain values to gender data like 1 or 2. if male=2 if female=1. and i know that mary is female ad mike is male.

I have a set of Word documents that I need to remove some data from. The Word documents are the questions and answers to a survey that people had to fill out. The job of the macro is to take out the names and other information which would identify who filled in the survey.

Here are examples of what it must do …

1. One question in the survey is “What is your first name?”. Next to it is what the person wrote e.g. “Catherine”. The macro must find the word “Catherine” and then replace the word “Catherine” everywhere in the document by the text [FIRST NAME].

2. Another question is formatted as a table with 1 row and 3 columns. The first column has the word “Nominator”. The other two columns have some more text as well as the answers. All the text in the other two columns of this table must simply be deleted.

3. I want to find all the words that might be people’s names in the document. So the macro must output all the words that the person wrote in the survey which start with a capital letter (but are not from a list of common words like London”). I can then choose which of these words I want the macro to find and what I want to replace them by. So for example, there might be the text “Script Lance” and I want to replace it with the text “[BUSINESS NAME]“. This doesn’t need to be a sophisticated interface.

I need to automate this, so i can cut&paste the vector in, then click “GO” and it will output 19 different versions to file.

Can this be done?

I need a programmer to write a simple word macro that will highlight stop words (all the words listed in the attached spreadsheet) as I am typing an article. I need a script, macro, program, something that connects to FedEx api, ANYTHING that will allow me to run over 30 tracking numbers at a time and generate a browser output or excel output of the delivery status.

I have 2 spreadsheets:

A : 1st spreadsheet with 2 worksheets:
A1) Worksheet containing fixed company address data (company name, address, VAT number)
A2) Worksheet with empty invoice template

What I need is a macro which copies the invoice date minus X days (X = random number between 3-14) from B, the company name and the amount of money to spreadsheet A, and prints the invoice at A2 to PDF (filename = invoice number). This macro must start at the first company at B, until there are no companies left and all invoices are printed to PDF.

I dont know if this is possible, but I want to create a macro which starts automatically when the .docm is opened and creates a mail merge for printing including running a macro which is already installed to create barcodes in the merged document.

The data source would be a .csv file which is created by a java application I have already had constructed. We can contact the original java programmers to see if we can post the document title from the java application.

This is a Macro to help us save time when doing a weekly schedule. Basically, all it needs to do is: when a scheduler enters the hours worked for a day (From-To), and then chooses the Attendant’s Name (must be a drop down list), those 3 cells (From, To and Attendant) will be painted into a color that will be unique that that Attendant
Name. And then it should calculate the total hours scheduled for the week for this attendant, into the table on the side. This will all make sense once you take a look at the attached excel file. The Attendant Names should come from a drop down list, which should be easy to edit, add and delete the names from… something similar to what I show in the file… very straight forward… In the example I highlight only few names, but the Macro needs to have a unique color for each name…

I require a vba macro that opens up a new xls spreadsheet for each instance the macro is run and runs a set of rules off an open xls spreadsheet and puts the resulting data into the new spreadsheet.

Thereafter, the macro will copy relevant information to another sheet where it will then apply formula (I have these in an excel sheet already) to analyse the relevant information.
So it will be a macro which copies the information to excel for all races for that day and analyse and produce one page of report and a saved file for that date to a specified location.
This site is done in AJAX and JAVA so there may be need to provide for the running of the scripts to get some info.

I need an excel macro that can do the following:

Input:
The macro should evaluate a two-column table with columns labeled “Word” and “Frequency”. The “Word” column will have a word value like “dog” and a frequency number like “5″.

Output:
For each word,frequency row in the macro, the macro should output a line of text printing the word the same number of times as the frequency.
So for an Input row with word as “dog” and frequency as “5″, the output would be:
dog, dog, dog, dog, dog;

The output must be in the same excel spreadsheet as the Input table. It must include the comma punctuation and the semi-colon at the end of each line.

Basically we get a ton of emails like this a day and I would like to be able to scan a folder in outlook, it will then scan the emails in that folder, then the information will be passed to an excel xls spreadsheet.

the spreadsheet is already created on a shared folder on our work network. The location or name of how you input it in the code is not important, as long as you show me where to change it.

I may not need all the information in the email, but for now we will assume that we do.
