Yes I am having a little difficulty uploading the ‘simple machines forum’ to my word press site.

I have uploaded via FTP but am unable to transfer the files into my site.

I need someone to do this for me as I am inexperienced in this area. Only a ten minutes work for those who know how. It is essential that you are willing to show me how you have completed the work for my future reference.

Please be reasonable in price as there is not much work here for the right person.

Site went down reinstalled and need to restore old database.

I have a forum that uses simplemachines.org script. It went down then I reinstalled newest version. I need someone to make the new install work with the old database before it went down.

I’ve posted this project several times and am posting it again due to lack of qualified SMF experts and because I have completed some of the original requirements myself. I have 2 SMF forum sites that are 99% completed and I need some assistance on a couple things.

1) Site 1 – For this site I only need a forum button/link added to the main top menu on my custom theme.

2) Site 2 – I need a bit more work done on this one:
A) SimplePortal is causing an issue with the custom theme. It is making the menu blocks above each menu category on sidebars have the original template blue on the left side. I’ve fixed this by adding the portal.css into the theme, but it didn’t recolor the block, it just made it disappear. I need this fixed so that is the correct color of the theme I am using.
B) PrettyURLs is not working on this site for some reason and I need it to be fixed and working.
C) I need my adsense code placed in a stylized location on the home page only. I will handle embedding in the forum posts myself.

I also need both sites just to be looked over by a SMF expert to check them for structural integrity and to see if any issues are seen. Issues that may be there are not required to be fixed under this bid, only reported back to me.

Hello, I have two SMF sites up and running but I need someone to do a couple finalization things before grand opening:

1) Check both sites ‘pretty url’ mod – one appears to be working properly with pretty urls, one will not allow posts to post when using the mod even though both sites use the same versions of SMF and prettyurls.

2) Fix a minor template color change on one site that is using simple portal and causing the home page to display incorrectly.

3) Add a ‘forum’ link to the main bar at the top of the page for one of the sites where it doesn’t currently have one.

4) Correctly place my google analytics code on both sites – was working in the past and mysteriously stopped working.

5) give both sites a look over for structure and integrity, make sure everything appears to be stable, solid, and functional.

6) add adsense code to the homepage of one of the sites

I have a new server which I have installed Ubuntu plus KVM virtualization on. The Virtualization is working and I can create VMs and connect to them with the console and they are running fine. But they can not connect to the interenet.

It is using a bridged network which is set up but not working.

So this project is for someone who is experienced with setting up virtualization and networking on Ubuntu with KVM to fix the networking for the Virtual Machines using a bridged network between the VMs and the server.

I have simple machines forum installed but would like a mod installed. I have the latested forum SMF 2.0 RC5 and would like to have Aeva-Media-1.4 installed. Currently it is installed but it wont display the videos properly. Also, two of my links are not linked properly, i would like the links redirected to a differnt url.

Need a simple theme for a upcoming forum on SMF version 2.0. I am not sure if i can post the forum link here, so i will just describe it.

It’s basically a city forum, so I need a simple theme which will show the skyline in the header, a good looking logo, probably change the colours of the default curve theme and few other images here and there. I will supply the images from flickr or you can find your own.

I have other forum projects coming up as well, so there is good chance of getting few more theme-based projects from me.

Im helping a company that installs various sizes and shapes of newspaper vending machines on city sidewalks. I need to be able to anticipate the final visual result of placing these vending machines on city sidewalks.

I want to photograph the proposed vending machine location and import the photograph into a web-based application. When I import the location photograph, I need it to identify a universal object, such as a stop sign to determine the proportionality of the location photograph and the objects in the location photograph.

Next, I want to be able to upload photographs of each of my newspaper vending machines along with the height and width of each vending machines.

Finally, I’d like to view the location photo and then drag the required vending machines onto the location photo to see what the sidewalk will look like after I install the vending machines. I need to be able to drag multiple vending machines onto the location photograph.

The problem is that I need the application to automatically resize the vending machines BASED ON THE SIZE OF THE UNIVERSAL OBJECT IT detected to match the correct proportions of the other objects in the location photo. So it is essential that the software always identify the stop sign.

Program will need to be server based.

We need a simple stand-alone db to register PCs that are sent to repair or let out to users for shorter periods of time:
1. Register users name and address info as well as the computers serial number.
2. Allow searches based on the users ID, name or computer serial number.
3. When registering repairs, it must be possible to add a text that describes the problem, as well as the date and time of delivery/registry. A mail should be generated to the user confirming that the machine has been received with a description of the problem. A form is printed with the relevant information for the owner.
4. When the machine is returned from repair, the serial number is entered and the record displayed. Date and time of return is registered in the db automatically, the operator can add the cost of repair or mark it as a guarantee repair.
5. When the machine is entered a mail is generated to the owner saying that the machine is available.
6. When a machine is lent out, the users name is registered as well as the machines serial number date and time that the machine is delivered.
7. On return the machines serial number is registered and the record updated with a date and time stamp.

As machines are repaired all records are retained so that a history of each machine is built up. We have a list of all machines that will be imported, however, it must be possible to add information on persons and machines if they are not on the imported list.

It should e possible to generate reports based on machine type, problems and paid/unpaid repair charges.

This is to be used in a high school to register machines that students use, so the interface must be simple to use.

The serial numbers will be scanned and the system must be able to recognize serial numbers as apposed to other numbers on the bottom of the machines.

I have a forum that is currently running Simple Machine Forum 1.1.3 script and i need it upgraded to SMF 1.1.10. The forum currently has some modifications installed so i think most of the changes for the upgrade need to be manually preformed (using just the upgrade package would delete some of the custom modifications). The SMF website has a step by step guide of what each upgrade consists of and which files need to be replaced, and what code needs to be replaced with what. So its not a really hard thing to do, just takes a little bit of time. So if someone could preform this update for me I would greatly appreciate it. Feel free to message me with any questions!

The factory produces produces objects of type 1 and type 2 from pieces of raw material which are readily available without limit.
