The script can be plain, just a white background with a search box where we enter the ItemID in question. When we click submit, down below the search box it will load the result for the lowest price item plus shipping cost.

This will allow education, positions, etc – the ones that normally take a long drop-down list to be lookup as you type the text field.
The ones that are not in the lookup will be stored in corresponding table for admin to be able to add that easily to the existing lookup table.

Milestone #1:
Public Area – look and feel is similar to ScriptLance website as this is a prototype site (horizontal top nav, login information, room for logo at the header), similar colour scheme.

Admin Area – requires users with certain role, many roles exists (must allow multi-level menu as there will be more things to administer later), horizontal menu changes from public menu to administrator menu (Lookup, Resumes, Jobs at the top level menu). Under Lookup, there will be individual Lookup administration e.g. to administer the qualification, education institution, sector/industry, job type, etc (see the fields in Careerone website as a guide).

I have a database of 22.000 domain names. I need to list what of these domains has an specific Administrative Contact Name or E-mail or Telephone by using a form.

For example. I need to know what are the domains in this list that has ‘Roger Sampaio’ in the Administrative Contact name in this database. So, I access a page and put to search ‘Roger Sampaio’ in a form specific for name. Than, the script find these 22.000 domains in some whois and retrieve back the information of what are the domains that has this information in it.

I’m trying to get some simple information, I want all of the URLs from a particular search “my search keywords”, etc. and only one result per domain.

I need the script to output a CSV file something like this:
My Page Title;www.mypagedomain.com;keyword1,keyword2,keyword3,keyword4,meta description,administrator email

Last part of each lookup is a whois search for the administrator email and adding that to the csv of search results, or ‘not available’ if it’s private registration..

There could several thousand results so the script should be able to handle this.

I have a magento store with some custom code written which marks addresses as veritifed or unverified. The customer can then verify the shipping addresses using a pin number generated in the admin panel and the checkout uses a post code lookup module to complete the addresses on the checkout.

If you place an order and type all the addresses in rather than using the postcode lookup script it works fine.

Whats not working and I need fixing ASAP…

1) if you use the postcode lookup script to place the order the order arrives in the database without the addresses, they are blank. (yet they show on checkout side bar but get lost when submitting the order). So this needs fixing.

2) If you manually type the address in the bill to name and ship to name which you see in admin under the order list screen are blank. This may get fixed when number 1 is fixed.

I have a database of 270 newspapers, tv stations, and radio stations. I have the name and website url of each. I need it finished within 24 hrs, but it only should be a few hours of solid work.

This project was originally opened as a 470 entry project but someone did 200 but then could not finish because of an unknown reason.

The job required is to the fill out the blank contact info fields (name, email, address, phone) based on the contact info listed on the website. Preferably for the transportation reporter, if not, the editor, and if not, the listed contact email.

You dont need to find the url of each company, they are all in the excel doc.

If no contact info is readily available on their website, then the entry can be left blank, very simple stuff.

I need a really simple script…

Step 1: There must be a multiple line text box to input keywords.

Step 2: The user clicks a submit button.

Step 3: The script takes each keyword, and searches Google for that keyword.

Step 4: The script extracts the organic ranking URL’s on the results page and places them in a database. The database table is structured like this: Result Position | Keyword Used | URL

Step 5: The script continues to execute all submitted keywords from Step 1…with a random lookup value between 0 and 20 seconds.

Step 6: The script takes each domain in database (Step 4) and checks for the Whois creation date (date the domain was initially registered) and adds this data to the data from Step 4.

Step 7: The script displays a sortable table of the data in this format:
Result Position | Keyword | URL | Whois Creation Date

Step 8: Underneath the sortable table (Step 7), there should be a button to “Clear Results”, which, when clicked on, will dump the results in the table.

We are looking for a dependable programmer who can complete this task very quickly…and we are looking for a long term partner for additional tasks like this…

We are seeking a Javacsript to take a postal code input into a web page and look it up in a csv (or similar) text file to determine the associated region, then look that region up in another text file and return into the web page all the agents in that region.

have a zip code lookup script for the United States a client purchases from code322.com. It works great, however they are wanting some dynamic checkboxes that are pulled from a mySQL database. We are needing the form to work with the checkbox criteria and the zip code lookup to find specific dining restaurants that are entered in a database.

The user selections the options, then enters zip code, then it takes them to a listing where they can click on the dining establishment to get detailed info.

We already have the database for diners, zip code lookup (from code322.com).

I have a web site using the myphpdirectory platform. It needs the following fix’s/changes. Strong php required as this is only phase one, second phase will be more extensive. Please only apply if you have a good grasp of php or ideally have worked on myphpdirectory platform or can do the below fixes quickly. The selected candidate will be given access to admin etc. Malls411.com is site work is required for.

1. Change icon in top left to one supplied.

2. Add flash image to top right portion of screen, to be supplied.

3. Suppress anywhere country “Canada” shows for listings on browse, popular listings, recent etc or when you click on it for details. As all entries are Canada so redundent.

4. Under menu add Home Page, Submit a Listing (see note 7), Member Login, About Us and Contact Us menu links. I bleive this is done via the admin panel.

6. When displaying any centre name’s and address’s on main browse screen suppress postal code, this should only show up when they click on it for more details but Address, City, province abbrieviation should show. This should be the case for browse locations, popular, recent listings etc.

7. Submit a listing needs a number of fields added to it, will provide form.

8. Remove “Powered by: phpmydirectory (1.1.2) leave rest of copyright but change to Copyright * 2008-2009 SCD Inc All Rights Reserved. Remove Language and Template with there dropdowns from bottom of screen.

9. Need to get an image to show beside center names if supplied.

10. Suppress Category lookup in search criteria area, I only have one category at moment so redundent but will use in phase 2. However would like this area used for a City and or State lookup only see note below.

11. Need to fix location search not working for city, appears to work for State.

12. Radius search should only work when zipcode used. Need this one explained to me how it currently works in application as it doesn’t seem to work at all the way I currently have it.

13. Change “Zipcode” to “Postal Code” in search area and “State” to “Prov”, “Miles” to “Km” and change application to use kilometers rather than miles in radius search, again believe is an option in admin area.

14. Add postal code as separate lookup to work with radius only.

15. Phone number not being displayed on detail page for center.

16. Don’t want site to be able to be scraped or mined (cut paste)of information, let me know your ideas.

17. Change radius dropdown options to be 1,3,5, 10 only.

18. Need malls411.com to open looking like http://malls411.com/browse_locations.php?id=1317 as default.

19. Show me how to add and change keywords.

This is a basic project for a IP address lookup script, you can use the free scripts getting around and just modify if you want to make things easier.
I basically want a script to run a system just like:
IPBurger.com
IPChicken.com

But also have a page that you can do IP 2 Location (can use the GEO Location Free Perl Scripts if you wish), and also it will need to have a function like on WhatIsMyIPAddress where it tells you if you are using a proxy.

The layout will need to be template driven so I can easily add my owm design, which will be similar to IPBurger design layout, so just a simple border-type graphic around the info with a header and footer I can easily edit of course. The design only needs to be very simple, just so we can see how the template works, no logo, no nothing… just a basic border type thing like ipburger.

This is a small project mainly to test a programmer I need for larger projects, so please have a good understanding of your language (PHP or Perl only)

Ajax coding is a big advantage for future projects and wordpress theme designing/css/xhtml, but start with this for now and you can decide what next projects you want!
