Need Help To Finish Mortgage Loan Amortization Script

November 17th, 2011 Comments off

I am developing a software for property investors, to help them work out the return on their investment over a 10 year period. It is almost completed but there is one more thing I need help with.

I need to calculate how tht total loan amount reduces each year, and the amount of principal and interest paid each year. There are ‘loan amortization’ scripts that will do this.

You must understand the concept of principal and interest repayments, and how mortgage loans work.

Must be slick looking, uncluttered and generic enough for me to change the affiliate programs that it promotes and the different variables that come with loans. The site will also feature articles and news but the main feature is the affiliate side to supply leads for the merchants. This will be done via direct linking or iframe.
Will need to display links to the regulatory stuff at the bottom.
Your bid should include the graphic design, logo and installation.

WordPress / Wp-ecommerce Modifications

September 18th, 2011 Comments off

Hello, I have a wordpress site running with wp-ecommerce. There are a couple of functions that it seems to be missing that I would like to add, as follows:

1. When a visitor makes a purchase or checks out, I would like them to provide username and password and a subscriber account is automatically created.

(Currently, the wp-ecommerce plugin successfully saves the users purchases and information, but it seems to be separate from the subscriber account)

2. When a user logs into a subscriber account, they are taken to the wp dashboard. I would like them to, instead, be taken to the wp-ecommerce “account” page.

3. In the wp dashboard, the user can change their login information, but that is not available in the “account” page. Please add that function to the account page.

4. This is a business where people can sell their items or get a money loan. Please add a field in the “account” page where the user can view “loan” details (Amount, loan date, due date, details). The user cannot change this. But an administrator can add and modify this information

The attached jpg file is an example of what is functioning on the “account” page right now.

His application will be sent out to all the sites I’m an affiliate with. And then he will be forwarded to a result page where he will see the TOP 2-3 offers that he got approved for and he will select the one he wants and then he will be taken to that companies webpage to finalize the application.

Would need secure application form

I would also want to be able to track the amount of completed applications and make easy for me to add / remove more affilate payday loan sites.

I would need you to set up the site in my hosting account. I can input the affiliate offers after the site is up.

Also need you to design all logos and graphics. Can provide some stock photography for use.

Vtiger/scrm -student Loans App

March 9th, 2010 Comments off

We are a not for profit organization which provides flexible loans for college or graduate studies (a student gets a loan and after graduation he repays it based on an previously agreed monthly fixed percentage of his salary)

We want to update our current selection and monitoring system to a new one (LAMP based) which comprises roughly the following processes:

1. Applications
We require a system to handle applications, similar to a recruitment process where we can filter and pre-select (discard) candidates.

2. Filter and selection
Pre-select candidates and notify them to update their profile with needed info/documents and schedule an interview.

3. Activities update
If a loan is awarded the status of the user changes. The contract is added to the user’s profile with several variables (ex: contact information, program data, loan repayment variables and conditions, etc.). During the academic program users update their profiles with relevant data (ex: transcripts)

4. Repayment cycle
After finishing its academic program the user status changes. He will start repaying its loan based on its contract conditions. Therefore the user should be able to access its balance and upload / update its payment records accordingly. A personalized payment calendar/table is displayed.

5. Report generation
Reports should be able to be generated based on different criteria according to the stage of the process.

We want this project to be based on top of vTiger, SugarCRM or other similar application as a module, so only bid if you have experience on these type of packages.

For these type of apps there are already some available modules that could be used (ex: eRecruiting, spiceHire, Customer Portal, loan/mortgage manager, and so on). Therefore it would be needed to determine the best package/module options, integrate if needed, and customize.

A complete overview, functionality requirements, data schema, UI mocks & summary of deliverables will be provided in the full brief. This project will be one of many vtiger/sugarCRM projects happening throughout the year.

Selection criteria:
- Must have demonstrated vtiger/sugarCRM module development experience
- Fluent in English (communication is key)
- Must be able to commit to deadlines

All interested developers please submit a summary of rates, vtiger/sugarCRM experience relative to the job & where possible an example of previous development work. As mentioned we are looking to form a long term relationship.

The project will commence as soon as the developer is selected.

1. The mortgage program to allow the user to input the amount of a mortgage and then select from a menu of mortgage loans: 7 year at 5.35%, 15 year at 5.5 %, and 30 year at 5.75%. Use an array for the different loan rates and terms. Display the mortgage payment amount. Then, list the loan balance and interest paid for each payment over the term of the loan. Insert comments in the program to document the program.
Please use a JComboBox for the selection of the above three values.
For output use the JTextArea with an attached JScrollPane as an ideal solution.
The results for the remaining loan amount and interest paid can be displayed on a line by line basis or in the output area.
You will be required to submit the source files with a short readme file with instructions for compiling and running the application by end of day on the last day of the week. Post the code and instructions into the Assignment Newsgroup.
Make sure the user can only input numeric values in the mortgage field.

2. Modify the mortgage program to read the interest rates to fill the array from a sequential file. Insert comments in the program to document the program.
The file should have the rates 7 year at 5.35%, 15 year at 5.5 %, and 30 year at 5.75% in a file, each rate/year pair on a separate line. You can format the file to have fixed length for the fields or be comma separated.
It is important you use them to fill and array and then use this array to populate you JComboBox. In other words, if I change the input file and then restart the application I should see the new value I entered. Do not hard code the values being added to the JComboBox.
Important will be doing the proper exception and error handling so that errors such as file not found, improper format and invalid data type (i.e. non numeric).
You will be required to submit the source files with a short readme file with instructions for compiling and running the application by end of day of the last day of the week.
Make sure only numeric characters can be accepted for input.

3. This is final addition/enhancement to the mortgage calculation application. You should have a user interface that internally uses arrays populated from an external file. The payment and balance schedule for the loan should be displayed on a line-by-line basis over the term of the loan either in year or month increments.
This week the program should be enhanced with a Save button. The display of the loan payment and balance should be stored in an external file when the user presses the Save button. The format of the file is not a specific requirement whether it is human readable or not.
Options would be:
1) Readable format, either fixed length fields or comma separated.
2) Binary format
3) From an object that is serialized to disk.

The submitted application must use at least one interface. This is important, I would like to see an interface developed by you and a class should implement this interface in the application.
