My partner is wanting his wordpress theme’s background to cycle through several high quality images. It would work like this:

User loads the page with the default background, 8 seconds later another background loads, 8 seconds after another one loads, and so on.

He said he has about 6 different backgrounds he wants to cycle through. We need the winner of this auction shows us where to change the code so we can change the backgrounds, and change the speed of the cycling between the images…

What I have:
-I have created a form using Javascript/Ajax and php that loads data from a database.
-The form has a triple drop down menu that is controlled by Ajax/Javascript. When you select the first drop-down, the second and third drop-down menus gets loaded based on the first drop-down selection.

My Problem:
-I use this form for users to input their data into my database and it works flawlessly.
-Now I am using it as an edit form for users to edit what they have previously inserted. I pre-load the data into the form when the page loads but the drop-down menus do not load correctly.

What I need:
-I need the triple drop down menus to load as they would normally but to also have the fields preselected based on what is coming from the database.
-This should be coded so it is seamless, (no page loading when drop-downs are selected)

-edit form: this is the form members use to edit their post from previously.
Edit form 01: should show the same options in Post Form 1 with the selected option from the database. As you can see, it has created a duplicate option.
Edit form 02: should show the same options in Post Form 2 with the selected option from the database. As you can see, no options have preloaded.
Edit form 03: should show the same options in Post Form 3 with the selected option from the database. As you can see, only one option is available.

I notice my website loads nicely on my browsers , but on internet explorer, I notice an image on my website is displaying on the wrong part of the page.

What is causing this issue? i am perplexed, my programmer says he can fix it easily, but he is curretnly on vacation.

I run many PHP Link Directory 2.1.2 based directories. A problem that I have never been able to solve is the extreme load these directories place on a server.

These directories seem to get added to auto submitters and the MYSQL get’s hammered to the point that it causes extremely high server loads.

I have made adjustments to my servers to handle this load but I’d like to find a programmer that can make changes to the actual script to prevent these high loads. With only 100-150 Unique Visitors per day there is no way that a properly written script should cause these high loads.

The winning bidder should download the free PHPLD 2.1.2 script and examine it completely to understand how it works with the database. I have 50 live directories that are placing a significant load on a server right now. I would like to implement your fixes onto these directories and see a significant load drop. Whatever fixes are done should not effect the ultimate performance of the site as far as accepting links are concerned. It seems to me the handling of the links when they are sent to the database is the issue but I may be wrong.

Everything is working ok feature wise however from category view list of products there is a short delay from clicking the product to the product page loading..this delay is about 7 seconds..package page loads with a further 3 seconds to load the config options and data.

The problem is it’s pre loading too much data from the database so the person clicking the link has to wait before all the data is preloaded then page loads.

Most of the data being preloaded is in an series of ajax pop ups which are on the package view page.

I need it so clicking the product from category view loads the next page at normal speed and dispays some kind of ajax style loading box while the database content is shown.

The gateway needs to be able to “lock” a website.

For example, when a user comes to the site, the site loads, and then within like 1 second, the gateway loads over top of the site, locking the content, and preventing the user from accessing the site.

It’s important that it’s not a pop-up, or anything that could be blocked with a pop-up blocker.

It must be compatible with all major web browsers.

The gateway needs to be black with a 50 percent transparency, so that the site, which shows through in the background, looks “darker” while the gateway is loaded/locked.

The gateway must also have a white box, that loads in the center of the page, near the top.

I need to be able to customize this box, in a basic HTML editor, so that I can add text and html code to it.

The box should be about 550 x 300 pixels. The box must contain a working login form, that contains only 1 field. The field should be for the “pass code”. This login form should be at the bottom of the box.

This login feature must actually work, so that the page unlocks (ie the gateway disappears), once the user enters the correct pass code, but stays locked until the correct pass code has been submitted by the user.

The pass code will have to be stored in a MySQL database, so I will need a MySQL database as well, where I can enter “pass codes” on the backend. The MySQL database must be able to verify the “pass code” entered into the form on the front end, by the user.

The gateway must disappear/the site must unlock, once the user enters the correct “pass code” into the form on the gateway.

It’s also necessary for a cookie to be set on the user, so that any user who enters the correct “pass code” one time, does NOT have to see the gateway or enter a pass code again, for another 45 days.

It’s important that users can’t easily bypass this gateway. It doesn’t have to be “iron clad” but if more than like 5 to 10% of users can easily bypass the gateway, then that’s a real problem and it will be unacceptable.

I need an image gallery which only loads 1 image at a time to reduce loading time, or only loads 5 images on the first page load, and then loads the 6th image when the user clicks on the first image, and the 7th image when the user clicks on the 2nd image, and the 8th image when the user clicks on the 3rd image.
