Lightbox is built into our theme, however it like all shortcodes don’t work in custom fields. We tutorial that says it’s possible, but were unable to implement it ourselves.

I am helping a friend make a basic website and for one of the pages we want to make a jquery fancy/light box thing.

what the page will be is for a list of available tours. on the tours page it will have an image and the name of the place/tour.

when you click on the image/name we want the popup to show up with say upto 5 varius images of that place and a spot for a description etc.. about it.

i hope this is possible, but it can be done another way if you feel fancy/lightbox wont work.

We need a LAMP developer who can work on the following issue :

On one of our site we have a Reels section which displays videos embedded on a lightbox area (opacity: 0.95) . The lightbox div area falls over an image gallery.
The problem we are facing is on the Mac operating system on all browsers, when we play the videos they appear transparent, which intern enables us to view the portfolio image through the Videos. On Windows operating system videos display without any transparency on all browsers.

Currently no wmode param is added to the object.

This will be for 50+ images and I would like for the script to randomly select the images so that they’re different each time and in a different order. There will be two sizes, smaller and larger. When the smaller image is mousedover the larger image will appear in sort of a lightbox in a smooth, attractive way. Nothing the user needs to close, something that closes automatically. They need to be able to mouseover all of them in a row and have this open and be a cool effect. It also needs to be able to be linked to a page within the site so when they click the image it will take you there.

These will be small images, about 100×100 px. The main <div> area this is going to occupy will be approx 900x100px. This will scroll left in a marquee like fasion, but I want the whole area to automatically load the images in a fade-in smooth style and then start scrolling, not start off blank and then scroll in from the side. There will be images the entire time.

Let me know if this makes sense and if you have any questions.
This is basically just taking one of the hundreds of scripts out there and modifying it to fit these requirements. Shouldn’t be too hard.
We are looking for the smallest/fastest amount of JS/CSS possible to accomplish this. It must be 100% compatible with all browsers. Thank you!

SECOND TIME:
I posted this before and the previous programmer failed and did not make a working script. You can either create a new solution or fix the old solution to work 100% properly in all browsers. The main problem with his solution is that once the images start repeating the image zoom stops working. Another problem is that in some browsers when they start to repeat there is a long gap in between the images. They should be constant and the viewer should not be able to to tell that they are repeating.

I need a WP plugin expert.
The issue is this…I have a programmer that is about 98% complete with this fix on a plugin.

1) how it posts is coming from a image_template.php file
currently it’s making a image link to a separate attachment post with the image link (image opens in lightbox 2)

2) I wanted this to just post like a normal post, with thumbnail link to big image using lightbox 2

3) This plugin is apparently pulling in how it posts the image/text coming into WP from a few plugin files OTHEr than the easy to find one of image_template.php

So what I need. Some WP plugin guru coder to work with my guy to finish this off.

I need a script that will allow me to host a lightbox script from my website, but with the ability to use the link on 3rd party websites. For example, my lightbox is on my server (like any lightbox), but if you click the same link posted on a forum, it just shows the full size html or php page. I want the opposite… I need to be able to post the link anywhere (on any site forum, or twitter for example) and when a user clicks on it, the link calls the lightbox script from my site and pops up the lightbox window from the 3rd party website.

1) I need a new contact form, with fields and dropdowns, that is in addition to the sites main contact form. I have loaded WebForms, wasn’t able to figure it out.

2) I also need a lightbox effect to bring up a two simple HTML formatted boxes (with images and links). I have loaded lightbox2, made some progress, but maybe there’s a better faster way.

We are using the Shapeshifter Template (http://themeforest.net/item/shapeshifter-one-page-infinite-possibilities/75759) with the prettyPhoto Lightbox clone (http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/).

We find ourselves in need of a new lightbox – one that can open to display an HTML frame with sub-links that are opened in the same box. Users would click on a link on the main page to pop open the box. Inside that box would be text and pictures describing aspects of a sub-project. Somewhere within that box would be a way to show images and Quicktime movies related to that particular sub-project. When the user clicks outside the box, they are returned to the main page and can click on another link to open a new sub-project lightbox.

The hired programmer would take our current site, and deliver new and updated files and instructions on where to place them.

Please indicate any previous experience with prettyPhoto or Lightbox in your replies.

NOTE: Anyone who accepts this project must start right away. I can’t wait even a day for you all to start.

A small map should be enlarged when mouseover. Something like a lightbox area or one with the same style. No popups.

On the enlarged map the user should be able to click on a sertain area which will be highlighted. A link should also be provided with every area.

+ put the web.flv file to the new JW Player Commerical player (he’s using free, i bought the commerical one)

+ Put the skin on

+ have it auto play when it shows up at my site

I need to put my FLV movie on my website so it pops up if its your first time at the website (so a cookie needs to be installed), also when the video ends I want the thing to automatically close down, when they come back to the site the 2nd time i don’t want it show.. however, I want a link on my homepage that says “view new video” when they click on it, I want it to pop up, everything fades and it plays (just as if it was their first time coming to the site)…

I have the page layout complete, and have an image file that shows how I would like the scrolling images to appear in. The key is when people come to the page I want the scrolling script to automatically start scrolling to the left and once it is done, bounce back and scroll to the right. I addition, I want the arrows in my image file to work so when someone mouses over them it changes the direction the images are scrolling.

So insert a script that allows thumbnails
to scroll horizontally in header, when a thumbnail is clicked on
user gets a LIGHTBOX script to display 600×600 full size version
of thumbnail, with CLOSE and NEXT navigation options

I will edit the script to embed it into my website, but just need something to get me started. I found a few image scrolling scripts with lightbox online, but none of them scroll automatically, you need to click the right or left buttons.

I have attached a picture to show you better what I am talking about and where I will embed the script. I’ll need someone to provide me a demo of the script working so I can backtrack the code and apply it to my website. Thank you.
