WordPress Design. Layout. Code

June 29th, 2009 Comments off

Hi

I’m looking for a quick WordPress Theme design.
The design, layout and coding needs to be done.
I’m using WPMU.

Theme is for a quilting website. Needs to be obviously Quilting and professional looking.
Something eye catching and brandable.

Quilters are creative people and I need the site to reflect this.

I have come up with a rough logo and this can be used as a guide… allthingsquilting.com.au

Although if you can come up with something better, please feel free to go ahead!

The most important thing at the moment is the layout and coding for WPMU.

The areas I need are…
1. A strong call to action for the email newsletter optin – above the fold.
2. A largish box for “Featured Quilt Shop” – a preview of the Featured Quilt Shop blog post and a “read more” link
3. A largish box for “Interviews” – a preview of the interviews blog post and a “read more” link
4. A button for each of the following:
a) Shop-Til-You-Drop Trip Planner
b) Groups
c) Shops
d) Workshops
e) Retreats
f) Specials
5. RSS icon/text link
6. XHTML compliant

All areas must be easily editable, as well as writing on images.

Css Layout Code Needed

I have a social network site where the default profile layouts looks like this: http://www.rateometer.com/social_mem_profile.php?scm_mem_id=8411

Members can find myspace layout codes from the internet and paste it in to change their profile design, example: http://www.rateometer.com/social_mem_profile.php?scm_mem_id=358

I’d like a custom layout code created to look more like this: http://www.rateometer.com/social_mem_profile.php?scm_mem_id=8411 (to have round corners and a cleaner look wit a few color themes)

IMPORTANT
If you have no feedback, you won’t be considered. Plus, you must be able to complete the project simply by registering and applying your code in the “edit profile” settings.
