I have links to 10 google maps that I need recreated as vector images. I need the maps with 4 layers.

This is a repost as the original bidder did not complete the job. The work he did was good but incomplete and I have attached a sample map with the colors I want used as a guide for these maps.

I have some jpegs of google maps that I need recreated as vector images.

Summary:
Since this can require multiple clicks and renders on each layer, I am thinking the most efficient way would be through flash. Feel free to make other suggestions if suitable and please mention the word cartoon in your quote.

An image is built up through the user selecting various items (see attached layout) and uploading a photo of their face which shows through a blank area in the layers (they are transparent png files).

In the example attached, the user would first upload their image (this is a preset stage)… then the image on the left would display the first layer which is just the gown & board. Then the user would click on a wig… it would appear in the image… they can keep clicking on wigs until they are happy… then they click next.. then they select from “what are you holding?” etc….

The layers and available items within those layers are database driven (mysql) – details below.

Once the building process is complete – the positional parameters need to be passed to a script we already have for rendering the images.

Details:
Process is as follows (database details are below):
Default to project id 1 unless a parameter is passed to script
Display page as in attached JPG:
The image displayed initially is from project.p_image
The steps on the right… 1) is upload image… then 2) is the first “layer” record… 3) is the second… etc…

So… each image step as follows:
User can click on an thumb in the step
The preview image on the left will show the image up to this point
The user can then click a different icon from the same layer and the preview image will change
EXAMPLE: WIG stage, they can click the red wig… the image on the left shows the red wig, they then click the blue wig, the red wig is replaced in the image by the blue… and so on until they select NEXT or PREVIOUS

Once the user clicks the NEXT button they will proceed to the next step

When a user clicks on a THUMB or the current stage is skipable, the NEXT buttons will appear, otherwise they will disappear or be greyed.
When the user is past step 1, a Previous Step button will appear
If l_allow_skip is true, display the SKIP icon and allow NEXT without selecting/processing an image on that layer

At the last stage – generate the images

Now go to new screen… displaying the result image on the left (can make it a little bigger than the working image)
Display download link (for low res image)
Display email this to your friends box… with from email / from name / to emails / to names

CONVERT CODE TO USE IMAGE MAGIK or whatever it was called!

Your page will have CSS or include files so I can easily include header and footer HTML (sidebar will be in same include as footer).
Note… the step is only displayed where interaction is required.. so for example, if there is only 1 layer_image record and l_skip_allowed=false, just add the layer at the correct sequence without interaction (bear in mind that back will have to go back to the previous interactive step).
The current step is highlighted so it is clear which step the user is on.
Please add a configuration variable [render_at_each_stage]… if set… you should render down to a flat image after each NEXT button… I think we will probably need this for performance. Obviously BACK will be simpler if you retain the layers… but will be memory intensive so…
Add special admin option which allows user positioning of every layer and stores the X/Y co-ords in l_pos_x/y

I had an online employment application form created, but it has some errors in the fields and i need each field to be working correctly and the form installed into my new template. Form will be tested for accuracy, each form field and section will be working correctly.

Please understand that the form is a multi layer form with about 10 different sections built into it which includes the applicant being able to copy and paste their resume in addition to adding work history and residential histroty which all gets uploaded into the database.

Roll your mouse over the 2nd vertical rectangle “Avtron Industrial Automation”. You will see another layer that shows with 2 other image rollovers (Drives & Systems, Encoders). Move your mouse over both of these links and you will see our problem. There is a flicker back to the original state of the first image as the mouse moves on and off these 2 image rollovers.
We need to get rid of this flickering between layers. You can see the html by viewing the source of this page. You will also find a link to the css there too.

I think this is a syntax issue but I cannot solve it to work in IE6 and FFox.

I’ve got a simple css site.

for some reason, the background image in a container layer will not show through the layers on top.

top layers have no background settings at all.

URGENT…This is an Algorithm that needs to be implemented (Force Directed Algorithm) in C++ followed by implementing Lee’s routing Algorithm.
Part1 of the assignment involves creating a Dynamic grid with spacing one unit each and cells of dimensions 6 units width and 6 units height need to be placed in the grid based on the Force Directed Algorithm. The size of the grid used for placement will vary dynamically based on the number of cells to be placed. The minimum distance of separation between adjacent cells (The closest they can be placed) is 1 unit. Each cell has 4 terminals (two on top and two in the bottom that occupies 1 grid space each. each of the 4 terminals of a cell are connected to the other terminals of other cells that are placed (connections). The input file to the program will consist of
1. no.of cells to be placed in the grid
2. no.of connections between the cells (between the terminals of each cell)
3. followed by a list of individual connections specifying which terminal number of which cell is connected to the which other terminal of the other cell on the other end of the connection.
NOTE: it possible that some terminals may not be connected at all and may just be free, it also possible that some cells maybe free standing and may not be connected to any other cells.

All cells are placed in one layer and connections are made as much possible in single layer. those wires that cannot be connected without overlapping(intersecting a previously laid connection) will be stopped before the point of intersection in that layer and continued towards its destination terminal in layer two. It is implicitly assumed that the terminals of the cells that were placed in layer 1 are also available in layer 2 directly above.So a wire that was continued in layer 2 (as it was intersecting a previously laid connection in layer 1) can stop right above the terminal of a particular cell in layer 1 to complete connection in layer 2.

Design rules:
The minimum spacing between adjacent wires/nets is 1 unit
the minimum spacing between a cell and a wire is 1 unit.

The output of the program must be of the type .mag file for viewing the placed and connected cells in Magic software. The output should give the total wire length used in overall connection process, no.of transitions of wires from layer 1 and layer 2, overall execution time and memory used in executing the program.

THE ALGORITHM WILL BE PROVIDED WITH DETAIL EXPLANATION AND SAMPLE WORKED OUT EXAMPLE TO BETTER AID THE PROGRAMMER UNDERSTAND THE OPERATION. PDFs WITH DIAGRAMATIC WORKING WILL ALSO BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PROGRAMMER. THIS PROJECT IS OF URGENT NATURE AND NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED BY 28TH fEBRUARY 2010.

Flash script to create mattresses cross sections

As you probably know, these days, most mattresses are made by aggregating several layers of different thicknesses and materials.

I need a flash script able to dinamically create mattresses cross sections to explain the composition of mattresses, by importing the cross section details from an XML file.

There are basically 3 kind of materials that can be used in a mattress layer:

Innersprings
Memory foam
Latex

1) Latex must be represented by having holes at the top, as the 15 cm layer in the image above
2) Memory foam must be represented as a continous surface, as any of the 2 cm layers in the image above

Now, let’s have a look at a different image for explaining how a innerspring layer must look like:

3) Innersprings is the central, bigger layer in the image above.

The XML file must allow me to specify the following for each layer:

1) Material (What material the layer is made of)
2) Layer thinkness
3) Colour for the layer (this can be ommited if having a single colour for each layer type improves the look of the cross section)
4) Label for the layer. Each layer will have a label that will be added to the image. This way, in the text that will be added below the image, we will be able to further explain the function of each layer

Of course, the layer thinkness must affect the thickness of that layer in the image.

Animating the mattress cross section would certainly be a plus.

in short, importing google maps satellite images to geoserver instead of posting the geocoded elements( layer) as a kml to google earth.

Important is that it does not just scroll, but stops moving and stays fixed position when it touches the top of browser window. So exact as on example page..

My layout is almost identical with the two columns, one with content and one right with menu. I want to put my menu in a layer as mentioned above.

I think jquery can do the job??

1. Full screen pop up
2. Flash has 4 layers (drag your browser window to see the layers) -
a) background image which rescales to fit screen proportionately
b) middle layer which is the content box (which includes logo + content + right menu)
c) bottom layer which is the footer

We have an artwork ready, in layered PDF and need someone to create a flash site for us, just 1 page, with same effect. Our artwork has 3 layers also. Background image in blue, content area in pink, and footer layer in red. It has to be in the same way as http://bit.ly/T8e96 whereby content is always in centre, footer always at bottom and background dynamic.

Take note that the font sizes are always fixes and never changes in size despite different browser window. You can convert the text we provide into dynamic text in flash etc.

what we need will be the sample page (only 1 page) to be done in this way, and the htmls / swf / fla submitted upon completion.

this is for a call of duty 4 (soon to be modern warfare 2) clan, so it will need to be war themed; soldiers, jets, tanks, etc. because they are so small, they will not need HUGE detail (this is as detailed as im expecting really; http://demo.rockettheme.com/phpbb3/index.php?style=27&ntheme=style2 but if you can do more and still have it looking nice, then go for it).

the 4 images will consist of 2 “floating” objects (could be smoke in the air for example), and 2 seperate layers of “floor” (so for example, in the link above, the 2 ‘floors’ are: the one green hill in the front, and the 2 green brown at the back (the 2 brown hills are one image)). you must make sure that when layered right, the 4 images look good and work well together. for example, the perspectives must be correct – you can not make a side view picture of a soldier on one layer, then a birds eye view of a helicopter in the other! the front most layer (the white part) is not required but if you need to do it to work with your design, so be it!

some suggestions are:

2 floating objects: smoke etc.
the 2 floor layers: soldiers in the front, helicopter etc in the back

this may not look very good, because there is nothing out front. so you could make the soldier layer entirely white and put that on the front instead of making 2 floor layers.

but please do give me your suggestions.

1) be given a few hundred pictures from the first scene
2) choose the best 100 from the first scene according to visual appeal and scene representation (your discretion:PLEASE DO NOT USE MANY IMAGES THAT ARE SIMILAR TO EACH OTHER. IN THE PROGRESSION OF TAKING STILLS FOR THESE SCENES, SOME IMAGES WERE DOUBLE OR TRIPLE-TAKES OF OTHER IMAGES. PLEASE DO NOT SELECT AN IMAGE AND ITS DOUBLE-TAKE OR TRIPLE-TAKES, THERE ARE MORE THAN 100 UNIQUE ANGLES TO CHOOSE FROM)
3) put the 100 pictures from the first scene in a folder labelled ‘selected’.
4) the bidder will then save a copy of the selected folder, then color correct, enhance and crop/resize to 1200×1600 or 1600×1200 dimensions those 100 pictures for the first scene
5) put the output in another folder labeled ‘cropped’
6) do the same for the 2nd scene

The watermark for this has been provided as a psd file and should be no larger than the example provided. It should also fit into the lower right corner of each picture per the example.

The deliverables for this project are:

I would like someone to help me with Data Access and business logic layer coding using LINQ, C# 3.5 and ASP.NET

I will send the following to short-listed candidates.

1. SQL Server 2005 database as .bak file
2. c# 3.5 project (VS 2008)
3. a pdf document with detailed requirements

What I would like you to do:

1. Write LINQ, C# code for data access layer.
2. The code should be clean.
3. Good naming conventions, code comments should be followed.
4. The code will involve complex joins, subqueries etc. So strong experience in SQL Server database development and Linq is required.
5. The project is based on VS 2008, C# 3.5

I expect atleast 50-70 methods in this data access layer. Some of them easy and simple and some of them complex joins and queries.

In other words, when the page loads, there should be a lightbox layer that opens automatically, over the page. The lightbox layer will contain a single 640×480 jpg image, which I will provide, and must have the usual “close window” feature on it. When the window is closed, the lightbox layer should disappear.

I want to create a dynamic banner.

The first layer will be the background that is a real, premade, static image that has our company’s name on it.

The second layer is an image that we will grab from our server. The image location/name will be determined by the query string. If the query string is ?image=imagenumber123, then the image that will be pulled and displayed is imagenumber123.png.

The the next layer is dynamic text that will be written on the background/first layer. This text will be determined by the query string. So, if the query string is ?text=some random text, then “some random text” has to be written on the background.

All of this has to be saved as an image. I have done most of it already. I learned how to do it within minutes, but since I’m new to it, cannot get all three layers merged. Hopefully, someone with more experience and who knows how easy it is, will do this and not charge too much. Thanks, and I will select someone in a few hours. If you have a demo, please provide one. Application runs in the background in Windows.

A new data text file is created by CapePack (no experience with CapePack required). Once a new file is detected, application will perform an anaylsis of the data. Selected data is then converted to a format readable by KepServer and then transferred to KepServer (demo version of KepServer is available; example VB and C+ scripts included in demo). KepServer then loads data into a PLC for robot control. Robot/PLC experience would be a benefit, but not required.

The data describes a layer pattern of a pallet stack of cases or bags. Most of the programming time will be in the data analysis. Variables include: cases per layer, x/y coordinates of each case, orientation of each case, number of layers, pattern of each layer, etc.

Programmer will be provided with typical CapePack data files (attached interlocking.txt) and an instruction set of how the data is mapped for export to KepServer.

Confidentiality agreement required. Hourly rate with progressive estimates preferred. U.S. west coast preferred but not required. Rough estimate of programming time is 20-30 hours.
