It’s stock install, has no core configs or extensions.

I have heard that a direct upgrade could cause template problems. Is this true ? What is the advised way to do such an upgrade.

I have my blog site wirevalley.com and on the home page on the right side of the site I have “Latest Forum Topics” and “Latest Forum Posts” they are just stacked on top of each other and when you click them nothing happens. They should be set up like tabs (not stacked on top of each other).

An example would be like the widget you see on zeropaid.com. They too have a “latest forum topics” and “latest forum posts”

Also, I want the tabs to be side by side with each other (just like on ZeroPaid). Right now all 10 links are stacked on top of each other on my site. Only 5 should be showing under the “Latest Forum Topics” and the next 5 under the tab “Latest Forum Posts” They are being pulled in to the plugin via my VBulletin’s RSS feed.

*The tabs must be side by side* I pretty much want the widget to be identical to what you see on ZeroPaid. Maybe I’ll have you put a thin border line going around the widget to define its perimeter.

I’ve posted the code in a text file and uploaded to scriptlance so you can see beforehand. Not sure what’s wrong with it. Pulled it from my old site.

When you hover on the very edge of the site on the left side the arrow saying “Latest News” appears. Clicking it pops out a box with the latest news articles in it. I need to a make a few updates to this.

a) The arrow “Latest News” must be immediately available and not just when hovered on.
b) The arrow needs to “bounce” and move left and right pointing at the small section of the news sticking out.
c) When you hover over the edge of the the news section needs to pull out about 30px. This is to let the user know if they click something with slide out.
d) Need to add the yellow “Close News” at the bottom of the news box to close it. Also, remove that if you hover off the news it closes automatically.
e) Darken the whole site behind the news section when it is open.
f) Make the news section only visible on the very first slide. If you click to move down onto another slide it needs to no longer be visible.

I attached images that show how it looks closed and how it looks open. Right now when it is open the displaying and the shuffling of news is perfect and should not be changed.

We have a magento site that we need to add a latest tweet widget to show our latest tweet from twitter on a block on our home page. It’s a simple task.

I want to display the latest forum posts on my website and in the side bar of my blog for two separate sites. Having been let down by another programmer I am looking for someone who can do this fairly quickly and within budget.

If you go to http://www.thetravelbug.org you will see on the main page, towards the top a box showing the latest 5 blog posts. Next to this I want a similar type box but displaying the latest 5 forum posts from http://thetravelbug.proboards.com (no RSS feed and not sure if access to database as proboards).

On http://www.thetravelbug.org/blog I want to include the latest forum posts in the side bar – somewhere towards the top. There is currently a small bug to fix as add plugin page is blank.

Please note that I have found a plugin for the Gofarmer blog that seems to work with phpBB forums but need it configuring. However, not sure there is a plugin that works with proboards forums. I realize that they may be quite a few mods/addons for adding the latest threads on a page outside of the forum environment, and I have had a search around, but cannot seem to find the one I need!!

I’m more used to using vBulletin, but am only using phpbb on a latest project I am undertaking because of cost limitations, and with myself not even being familiar with the phpbb coding, I wonder if anyone would be able to assist me in my quest for a Latest Threads script for my html pages.

I’m ideally looking for something that resembles the latest post bit at the top of this webiste: http://www.flying-bits.org/ but on an external page. My external pages have a similar design to phpbb, so I would like to try and get the latest threads box to match the same phpbb table style (as on the website above)

The other thing which may be a problem, I need to be able to select which viewforum.php?f=xx I need this to choose from, as the HTML pages are going to work as ‘portals’ to each forum on my message boards.

Hello , i need someone familiar with html php and xzero to nodify the way my featured and latest ads are displayed on the homepage.

The default way is ontop of each other as with many classifieds but on the homepage only i want them to be displayed in a box or table with tabs. I also want the background of each ad to change colour when on hover with mouse.
