Hi, I’ve been asked by a client to create a front page display similar to that used in the ‘Featured’ section on the Yahoo home page http://uk.yahoo.com/ Ideally a space for a photo (using fixed dimensions), a headline and some text but underneath this box to have 8 to 12 thumbnailed images and headlines. Hovering over the thumbnails would make that story fill the main box. Would it be possible for the images, headlines and text to be stored in a MySQL database and to have a facility for the client to amend/add new articles? I’m happy to supply a drawing of the perceived screen along with the standard / thumbnail image dimensions and equally am open to ideas as to how better to approach this. Thank you in advance for your very kind help.
