Php / Ajax – Penny Auction – Adjustments

Hello there,

I have a website (Penny Auction) that is almost ready to go. Need some adjustments on it. What I basically need for now is:

1) Adjustments in php ajax in order to load open auctions correctly in front page. It is working almost 100%. Some minor adjustments have to be done. I can give you more details later.

2) There is a integration of 3 different platforms and I need them to work together. 2 are already working. There is one more.
This integration is basically a fusion of mysql databases. The user has to exist in all of them at the same time. I can give more details later as well.

3)Need someone to test the users database and have it working 100% with all the previous 3 and also to create a page for the user where he can manage his/her information. I will give more details later.

There will be for sure more work after this. I just want to select a programmer that I can rely and keep a long relation of trust. The website will need some more adjustments later and I can hire the same person many times if he/she gives me a good job.

Pre-launch Script – Mlm

I’m looking at starting up a parcel/mail forwarding website very similar to www.nybox.com/. Our company is located in Turkey and wish to assist local shoppers by allowing them to send items that are purchased in USA to our US address, then we forward to Turkish postal address.

I’m interested in having a PHP back end. Database should be programmed in MySQL.

The most important part of the project is Database. You can copy nybox design fully. including logo, flash videos, etc. I’ll change them myself later. You don’t need to work much about designing.

Countdown Timer With A Twist

I am making a sales page – I want to make it a limited time offer…I know there are scripts like this out there, but I haven’t been able to find exactly what I’m looking for:

1. Display the exact date and time (to the second) that the person lands on the sales page.
2. A count down timer, that will start counting down from that time, that cannot be reset by simply refreshing the page – if they leave and come back tomorrow I want the correct amount of time left for that individual. (it’s going to be a 5 day offer). If they are savvy enough to clear their browser history, good on them, I don’t need to make it ‘bullet proof’, but if there is a simple way that’s a bonus.
3. A count-up timer that randomly goes up by 1…so – as a customer lands on the page it starts at 62 (or some arbitrary number), then goes to 63 2minutes later, then to 64 4minutes and 20 seconds later, then to 65 7minutes and 17 seconds later…basically goes up by one at random times 2 – 5 minutes apart. This is to signify orders being sold, with a claim that we only have some ‘limited’ number left…ie 1000.
4. After the timer runs out make the page ‘refresh’ or go to another page where it goes back to the regular price.

The current page is php, and is a replicated site…meaning I have affiliates who will be able to promote this also – if that matters to you. The replicating part is already done though.

This, of course, doesn’t ‘have’ to be done in Java, I just assume that’s how it would be most easily accomplished…but I don’t know.

Once this project is complete, just show me the basics of changing variables, I may want a 2 day sale in the future ;)

Personal Dating Ads Script

I’m looking for a simple adult “personal ads” script that has the capability of registering “Couples” with both partners information on “one profile”, with full admin panel, whereas I am able to moderate profile & photo changes of members etc. Script must also have the ability to process credit cards “manually” thru the admin panel where as it would save a persons Credit Card etc info in the database for me to later manually process later. Lastly, Script coding must not be encrypted if I need to do alterations to it later.

Otherwise, does anyone have a demo of something like this preferbly pre-made that I could see? Thats reasonably priced? Please PM me with your demo sample if you have one.

Psd To Css Tabless / Php Later

I need to get a psd file converted to a valid tableless { or so } css layout. I think I made it pretty easy… but PS on win2k is running very slow. Later after converted, I will make php pages and all editable… such as Ihave done with all the sites I’ve built, but have no fast cpu to do the photoshop conversion with at the moment.

I have the psd…… and I can do the css. Just need it tableless… pronto !! anyone ?

1. Looking at the exact toolbar from wibiya.com that appears stuck at the bottom of portugalmistico.com. I want a solution just like this one created
2. I must be able to customize, later on both graphics and contents (I have some programming skills on editing ready scripts and html on webdesigning) and add it to as many websites as I want.
3. When I alter the original bar hosted on example.com, it will alter the bars appearing on every website I applied it to (on example1.com, example2.com, exampel3.com etc). Logically it should have a means of adding the bar to websites in form of a script or something like that.
4. Should be as similar as possible to wibiya’s in design in a way it keeps both animations and transparency possibilities (but i’ll later on perfect this part so it shouldn’t be a priority graphically)
5. Doesn’t need the search option, recent posts, random posts, subscribe rss
6. Should work as the wibiya one including the stuck at bottom of page and the shrink and unshrink option (preferably with an option to make it appear opened or closed by default so I can apply it to different kind of pages in either way by default
7. The sharing tool should be as similar as possible and so should the translate one
8. The twitter and 2 facebook buttons should be custom graphic buttons i’d alter later and open small windows (instead of those in wibiya’s) as the wibiya does with custom html i would later add and modify to my needs (obviously it would shrink or stretch to the size set in the html)

Psd To Html Website

Hello,
i need a layout converted from PSD to HTML.
The most important thing is that the html files should be opened and edited into a WYSIWYG-Editor like dreamweaver or netobjects.
NO CMS NEEDED!!! I just want to edit the layouts in WYSIWYG editors.
Thats why the graphics should be expandable dynamically. What i mean is, when you look at the screens, you will norice that the content is
this gray boxes. So when i add more text in one of the boxes, the whole box should expand automatically.
So i guess, it should not be tableless coding, because this editors show tablessless html somehow displaced.
I think plain table-html will do it.

Another important thing is, that the design needs to be 100% pixel peferct. So when i switch between the menus later in the html layout, all grapfics should be in the same place.

This will be the navigation structure. I have tried to explain in the brackets some important things you should know.
- HOME (This menu will include beside static content a rss feed under the name ‘NACHRICHTEN’)
- WHO WE ARE
- WHAT WE DO (Some boxes have a blue button underneath the text. This is a more button.)
- EVENTS
- ONLINE SERVICE (You will see in the screenshot 2 submenus: ‘Online Tools’ and ‘Formulare’.
Online Tools will contain several online calculators, mostly done in javascript. So you can just do one layout and i will add all others later with copy and paste – because they all will be similar. You don

Smart Email Marketing System

EMAIL MARKETING SYSTEM.

This is a system who’s primary purpose is 1)to keep customers using coupons. 2) keep client coupons in constant circulation.
There is to be two parts to this system,
1st part is simply similar to what is seen with amazon.com. Where when a customer who have added items to their cart, and now would like to view those items, Amazon.com also shows them other items in those or similar catgories that other customers have bought. The difference with couponvaluepages.com is the cart will show coupons that the customer has added, however when the customer views their cart before checking out, the customer will shown other coupons in that category that customers who printed them, also printed.

2nd half of the system is based on the coupon alerts.
I want it to be when a customer prints a coupon, the system will make note of it and later email that customer up to two residual coupons related to that previous prited coupon. For instance, when Tina the Tire customer print a coupon for tires, she will later in her email alert receive about two coupons that are related to automotive, chances are she printed a coupon for tires, because chances are she drives a car. Well the smart email system knows this and as a result searched out other coupons related to automotive that Tina the Tire customer may be interested in. So Tina the Tire customer received an email alert a few days later with a coupon for an oil change, and perhaps a Free car wash all from her local area.

We are looking for a good team to create this system, I would like to have system up and running in no less than 7 days. We will not tie funds up in escrow, yet will pay in full on delivery.

Install Oscommerce Template

My client needs an oscommerce template installed on a host and connected to google checkout and paypal express. The template is this one: http://www.websitetemplates.bz/oscommerce-templates/545.html

I’ve made some changes to the homepage design of the template. Really it was mostly color changes. The client likes the changes I made, but with every client they may later want some changes. So this project my require you to make some changes to the design. Hopefully not too many.

The client does want put flash in later. I will make the flash. I think I will just take out the main black center part and replace it with a flash rotator or something. Anyway I’ll create that and all you’ll have to do is place it in that location.

MOST IMPORTANT NOTE: The design has to look exactly like my changes. I’ve had many templates installed and sometimes people just cut the file I give them up whatever way they can. I know the issue is the CSS and getting it placed perfectly can be a pain, but it needs to look EXACTLY like the homepage design I give you. The main issue I normally get are balance, whitespace, and spaced between sections are changed when the design is put on the site. I need it to look exactly like the file I will give you. So please spend some extra time right away making it look identical to what I give you, so later you don’t have to make changes.

Modify WordPress Theme.

The site would need to be completed by Monday at the absolute latest. I’m willing to pay $150-200 for it.

I’m looking for someone who can modify a preexisting WordPress template by customizing the layout/appearance slightly and adding some functionality. My goal is to create a website for a residential group within a university that would at its core be a news blog but would also offer students other useful utilities and some very limited social networking functionality. The theme that I’m thinking about customizing can be found here: http://themeforest.net/item/imperial/47783 I think it does most of the news/blog functions well, so it wouldn’t require much manipulation in that department. Here are the changes/additions I would like to make to the theme.

1. I would like to alter the white version of the theme somewhat since I think it looks just a little bit crowded in places, and I would like to have a white site with green as an accent color.

2. Users would be able to create accounts which allow them to post comments, photos, videos, and add events to a calendar. They would also have profiles that would contain certain information about them. They would also have the ability to send messages. I think this could potentially be done using BuddyPress without too much difficulty.

3. I would like an events calendar that users can upload content to (and if it’s not too difficult, these events would have the ability to be linked to news stories and/or picture galleries)

4. Users would be able create/join groups and create events for that group that would go into the calendar.

5. Administrator accounts could add new stories and edit other site content.

Overall Design
The site design and layout should be based upon the white/light version of the Imperial WordPress theme found here: http://themeforest.net/item/imperial/47783. I would like the following changes made to it in terms of overall design:

Green accent color (lime green)
Additional space – The three column layout creates a cluttered feeling that I’m hoping could be fixed by spacing things out more
Web 2.0 makeover – Any of the design characteristics of Web 2.0 sites (Web 2.0 buttons, rounded edges, Web 2.0 icons) that can be added would be great.
Switch the nav bar to be bellow the page header. (I will give you materials for a new header later today)

Left Column
Here are the components I would like in the left column.

Top Stories Display – The current display that is in the top left is okay, but I would prefer if you could change it so that the story descriptions on the right of the picture moved underneath the picture so that it only takes up one column.
Blog/News Posts – These don’t necessarily need any design changes. However, if it is possible to make so that when people click “Read More,” the additional text is displayed on that same page without opening to a new page. I guess this would require Ajax or something like that. If that could be done for comments as well, that would be outstanding.
Center Column
Here are the components I would like in the center column. I would like to have areas in this column that display the following information in the following order from top to bottom:

Upcoming calendar events
Sports scores
Recently uploaded media (Photos, Videos, Music)
Right Column
Here are the components I would like in the right column. I would like to have areas in this column that display the following information in the following order from top to bottom:

Login box for users
Icons for RSS, Pictures, Video, Music, and Facebook

Recent comments

That’s pretty much it for the layout of the site. If you can think of a way to have all of that content in a two column site, that would be awesome, but it may not be feasible. I will send you more information later tonight about what exactly I would like in terms of functionality for user accounts, permissions, etc.

Okay, as far as the user accounts go, I don’t think they should be too difficult to set up, but I’m not completely sure since I’ve never done it before. One of my friends has done similar things, and his programing/web design skills aren’t much better than mine, so I’m sure it wouldn’t be too difficult for you.

Site Registration

In the login box on the home page, there would be a link to register for the site.
Only users with an e*mail address yale.edu or fenrirsden.com would be able to sign up. Like Facebook, a confirmation e*mail would be sent to that address containing a link to activate the account.
During the registration process, users would give provide certain information. Fields marked with an * would be required. Ideally, users would be able to edit this information at a later date if they wanted to.

View their profile page and the profile page of others (these pages would display the information entered during the registration process)
Send messages to other users and check their inbox for messages that they have received.
Add events to the calendar
Comment on blog/news posts
Moderators would have all the abilities of regular registered users and the following additional abilities:
Post/edit blog posts
Edit uploaded media
Edit calendar events
Delete comments
The master account would have the abilities of registered users and moderators as well as the following additional abilities:
Control whether users are simply regular users or moderators.
Make edits to the static areas of the site.

Here’s a description of some of the site components. In addition to the home page, there would be the following links on the nav bar.

Info
This should basically be a blank page which the master account can add text and pictures to.

Multimedia
This page should have separate sections for pictures, videos, and music. Pictures should be able to be organized into galleries. Also, users should be able to upload content to these pages and comment on them. The recent uploads to the multimedia section would appear in an area on the home page.

Events
This should contain a list of events having on specific days. The events should have a title, a category of the event, a time, a location, and a brief description. Users should be able to upload these events. A list of upcoming events would appear in an area on the home page. Hopefully, events would be able to link to pictures/video/music from the event and news article about the event.

Intramural Results
This section should list upcoming contests and the results of past contests. Hopefully, these contests would be able be able to appear in the events section as well. Users would be able to upload content here by adding it to the events section and then clicking an option that said “Intramural.” Only moderators would be able to add the results of the contests. A list of contest results would appear in an area on the home page.

1. I would like to alter the white version of the theme somewhat since I think it looks just a little bit crowded in places, and I would like to have a white site with green as an accent color.

2. Users would be able to create accounts which allow them to post comments, photos, videos, and add events to a calendar. They would also have profiles that would contain certain information about them. They would also have the ability to send messages. I think this could potentially be done using BuddyPress without too much difficulty.

3. I would like an events calendar that users can upload content to (and if it’s not too difficult, these events would have the ability to be linked to news stories and/or picture galleries)

4. Users would be able create/join groups and create events for that group that would go into the calendar.

5. Administrator accounts could add new stories and edit other site content.

Overall Design
The site design and layout should be based upon the white/light version of the Imperial WordPress theme found here: http://themeforest.net/item/imperial/47783. I would like the following changes made to it in terms of overall design:

Green accent color (lime green)
Additional space – The three column layout creates a cluttered feeling that I’m hoping could be fixed by spacing things out more
Web 2.0 makeover – Any of the design characteristics of Web 2.0 sites (Web 2.0 buttons, rounded edges, Web 2.0 icons) that can be added would be great.
Switch the nav bar to be bellow the page header. (I will give you materials for a new header later today)

Left Column
Here are the components I would like in the left column.

Top Stories Display – The current display that is in the top left is okay, but I would prefer if you could change it so that the story descriptions on the right of the picture moved underneath the picture so that it only takes up one column.
Blog/News Posts – These don’t necessarily need any design changes. However, if it is possible to make so that when people click “Read More,” the additional text is displayed on that same page without opening to a new page. I guess this would require Ajax or something like that. If that could be done for comments as well, that would be outstanding.
Center Column
Here are the components I would like in the center column. I would like to have areas in this column that display the following information in the following order from top to bottom:

That’s pretty much it for the layout of the site. If you can think of a way to have all of that content in a two column site, that would be awesome, but it may not be feasible. I will send you more information later tonight about what exactly I would like in terms of functionality for user accounts, permissions, etc.

Okay, as far as the user accounts go, I don’t think they should be too difficult to set up, but I’m not completely sure since I’ve never done it before. One of my friends has done similar things, and his programing/web design skills aren’t much better than mine, so I’m sure it wouldn’t be too difficult for you.

Site Registration

In the login box on the home page, there would be a link to register for the site.
Only users with an e*mail address yale.edu or fenrirsden.com would be able to sign up. Like Facebook, a confirmation e*mail would be sent to that address containing a link to activate the account.

This should basically be a blank page which the master account can add text and pictures to.

Multimedia
This page should have separate sections for pictures, videos, and music. Pictures should be able to be organized into galleries. Also, users should be able to upload content to these pages and comment on them. The recent uploads to the multimedia section would appear in an area on the home page.

Events
This should contain a list of events having on specific days. The events should have a title, a category of the event, a time, a location, and a brief description. Users should be able to upload these events. A list of upcoming events would appear in an area on the home page. Hopefully, events would be able to link to pictures/video/music from the event and news article about the event.

Intramural Results
This section should list upcoming contests and the results of past contests. Hopefully, these contests would be able be able to appear in the events section as well. Users would be able to upload content here by adding it to the events section and then clicking an option that said “Intramural.” Only moderators would be able to add the results of the contests. A list of contest results would appear in an area on the home page.

Existing Site To Word Press

I have an existing site that I want to make a word press template out out of. I have all the images and psd versions of the site that I have created. I wish to create a new template while were are making changes. Below is what I am looking to change.

1. Old site is 870 px, new site needs to be 960 px wide.

2. Old Design has banners at the top of page. Needing help to modify a design to remove banner space.. Have Photoshop versions of all images ect.

3. Needing an expert’s graphic experience on the website to add that extra touch. This may include creating a new .psd template from scratch or modifying the ones that I supply.

4. I will be using WordPress so a word press template theme would be needed. After job is completed I want all source files so the template can be modified later. Please do not flatten the layers and please keep everything organized and named so someone can read it later on, see my example .psd files for examples of what I am looking for.

5. Old site has no menu drop down, new site needs menu drop down. Also the old site uses images for buttons, we need to do the same effect for text only.

6. I will be using some static pages that does not need any side bar or widgets, but I will still be using a blog so the blog will need to be modified so that sidebar widgets match the site.

7. I need the final theme, zipped so I can upload to my own site, I would like the progress reports to be on your server, this means that you need to upload changes ect on your server with the theme for review.

8. I have several .psd versions of past designs and I would like to use a bit of each in the design. And any ideas of your own would be a plus!

9. The basic idea of for the design is a “PHP” theme so if you can add in something dealing with php that would great.

10. I have a portfolio page and would like suggestion on how to populate this using word press.

11. I would like final theme to validate using css. No tables please.

12. You need to know how to create wordpress themes, I am not needing a wordpress kiddie on this one. Also you must know graphic design, I want a complex and neat looking design on this.

13. I want full credit for the design, I do not want to see any of this work in your portfolio. I have more work later on if you want portfolio work.

14. I will be using some static pages for some of the pages but the menu system needs to load like this.

The end client took a long time to decide on the project requirements so the previous posting got cancelled and some changes have been made to the specifications. I am ready to proceed with this project now. To everyone who posted a bid before, I am sorry for the delay and please feel free to post an updated bid here.

Overview:

I need to add certain functionality to a base Drupal installation. This can be done with module installation, configuration and customization. I do NOT need you to build an entire website – I need to configure the needed functionality in Drupal upon which a website can later be built.

I do NOT need any template/theme customization, and no real content will be required other than test content to verify functionality of modules.
Drupal 6.7 or later will already be installed for you with the default setup and the admin module installed:

as well as the TinyMCE editor which I have tested and works well.
I will provide FTP access, cPanel access, and the Drupal admin login.

I need you to determine which modules to use, install them, configure them and prove that the specified functionality has been acheived, and then explain to me exactly what was done in a step-by-step manner so I can replicate it later. I will need to be able re-create the installation later on a different server (same specs).

User Types:
There needs to be two types of users added. Content Managers and Content Editors. It should be possible to have multiple users of both types.

Demo Preparation:
To create a realistic testing environment, several levels of content pages (fake content) should be created. There sould be several main website sections, each having multiple sub-sections and pages. The content should be 3 levels deep.

Desired Functionality:
I need for the Content Managers to be able to assign content editing and adding priviledges to Content Editors. They should be able to assign content by specific pages, sections of the website, or types of pages based on taxonomy. There should be multiple ‘editors’ possible for any particular page. The exact method for assigning content is open for discussion, but I would like to be clear on the process prior to awarding this project. The managers should also be able to create a ‘placeholder’ page which is unpublished and assign it to an editor for editing.

The editors need to be able to edit their assigned content and submit it for approval. The existing version of the content should always remain published until a manager can review the new content and approve, edit, or reject with comments. If assigned a certain section or type of content, editors should be able to add new pages which are not published until approved by a manager. If a page is rejected, the editor should be notified and they should be able to log in and see the page with the manager’s comments. They should be able to continue editing and resumbit for approval again.

To keep everything organized, each manager and editor should have a place they can view their ‘to-do’ list. From what I understand, this can be accomplished with views, but I could be wrong. Any time an item is added to the user’s to-do list, they should also be notified by email if specified in their profile. It should be very easy for the editors and managers to understand what they can edit, any items waiting for them to edit or approve, and any rejected submissions.

The managers should be able to pull up a list of all content waiting to be approved, and view, approve or reject the changes with comments.
They should also be able to mark any page as needing editing and add comments. Once a page is marked as needing changes, all editors with permission to edit that page should be notified by email and in their ‘to do’ list.
The editors should be able to pull up a list of content they are responsible for editing, and see any edits which have been rejected by an admin.

It is important that once a revision is approved, any futher changes by the editor still require admin approval. The modules I found didn’t work this way. It is also important that new content pages can be created by the designated users of that section but not published until manager approval. This functionality is critical.

Please only bid on this project if you have read the requirements thoroughly and have a clear plan to implement each requirement. For this project, I want to work with someone with a solid understanding of Drupal and good feedback. Please provide links to drupal sites you have created.

Timeframe: This needs to be completed, submitted and replication instructions sent within 2 weeks of being awarded the project. If you will require more time, please specify how long in your bid.

This will be considered a work for hire and all rights to the code created will be retained by the end client.

Communication: The selected programmer shall communicate with me only by email (preferably) or the PMB. No contact will be made with the end client.

Payment: I will escrow 2 payments, each for 50% of the bid amount. The first payment will be released after 7 days and after installing the specified modules (base installation minimum). The second payment will be released after 14 days and after delivery of all required parts to my satisfaction.

I have designed a website template for a company and have the following done.

The template is currently designed in corel.

I will need you to redesign it as necessary to enhance resolution and to aid you in cuttig it.

I need your design to be exactly like the template I have made.

1. the mock template design
2. the graphics that are in the mock template design
3. the pictures that I need to see on the template.

Ra Procurement Site

I would like to have built a website that will host my reverse auction software (that I will probably provide – one of three platforms).

This website will not be for mom and dad to save 15% on a digital camera to take on vacation. This site will service government and commercial end users for procurement of construction,, construction materials, heavy equipment, office supplies, capital expenditures, etc.

The site needs to require registration to really see anything of value, and some demos of the platform will have to be available for my clients’ viewing. Buyers will be able to see everything during an auction event, but sellers will only be able to see their current bid, their current rank, and what they are bidding to sell.

I could care less about SEO. I will be working in only one geographic area, and have little or no desire at this time to service anything outside that area. 99.9% of my clients will go to the website and sign up because I ask them to do so. Truth be told, I would rather not be able to be found under a Google search.

The website should be professional looking and polished, and include an area for visitors to register as a buyer, register as a seller, or register as both. I do not want a forum. I need setup for three email addresses right now, and perhaps more in the future.

I’m on a bit of a budget for the time being but if I can just get off the ground and find the right person to do little upgrades from time to time, we can polish off the site at a later time. http://www.bidbridge.net/ is a business that provides much the same service as I will provide, but their home page looks stupid. The rest of the site that I can see is pretty nice, although I don’t know what all of the rest of the site looks like because I can’t register as a buyer or seller.

I would like to have a section on the home page for articles that I find from time to time extolling the virtues of the reverse auction process, and I need to be able to update that all by my noob self without assistance from someone.

As I said before, if I can get something decent off the ground in the beginning, we’ll do a bigger spend later on polishing the site and making it look really top notch with neat graphics and such. For now, give me a price on setting up my software, putting together a home page and setting up my email accounts.

In the near future, I will want to add a database section inside the site so that if I am selling tires, for instance, I can enter the word, “Tires” into the subject field of my auction and have it pull a list of suppliers that I have entered into the database prior. That’s just an example of the functionality that I will require later on as we move forward. This is a long term project. I am a fiend for user-friendly platforms, and the more my site can do for me so that I don’t have to have someone work for me, the better.

Also, I really prefer someone with some personality. I also need a couple of references, and some examples of your work.

Question: Gmail Account Creator – automatically create yahoo accounts. Username and password and secret question and answer. Automatically enter image verification words without manually typing it in.

NOTE: Can you create each one as a seperate independent function script? So I can add any of these scripts to the main application. Otherwise these seperate function scripts are disabled and unhighlighted.

Question: Can you create an area where I can insert the title, body ad copy and even perhaps html code?

Question: For the above question: Can you create and insert a text layout toolbar? Features like paragraph indention (left, middle, right), bold, font types, font size, underline, italic, etc?

Question: Can you create these functions as tabbed functions? Meaning: If I want to insert the ads, I click on the ad creation tab, if I want to use proxies, I click on the proxy use tabs, etc.

Question: Can you allow the customized application to save all information (postings, settings, etc) to mySQL, excel, access or txt? Can you customize the application so that it can save all the settings for an ad campaign?

Question: Can you create the capability for the customized application to insert invisible texts in the ad and ad title (optional if turned on feature)? I can tell you why later.
