Very simple, we need to scrap few sites to extract lat, long info and insert them into our db.

I have a project going on…and am held up with one issue. The thing is.. we enter a address in a text box and gmaps suggest valid address, just in case if the address is valid, we are asking user to click on the map and get the lat & lng by moving on the moving.
Can someone take care of this ? I can show more details once we get in touch.

I need a script that will convert an address to be placed in my mysql database and b used by a google map on the website. I believe I need a converter to convert address to longitude and Latitude but not sure, bidders can advise.

I have a csv file with all the cities and countries in the world, I need to

*export that file to mysql
* I want to be able to add new tables using this script (ie: xxx)
* then after finishing with all that I want to import all the tables to WORDPRESS as posts

Title: Find xxx in city, country
body: Get XXX in city, country with latitude and longitude
tags: xxx, xxx city, xxx country
category: general (or whatever I choose)

* I should be able to update the tables, modify them, mix them…

I have a real estate site that displays each property location using Googlemaps (this is done by entering the Lat/Lon values into the relevant fields in the admin side of the website).

My problem is that in admin the Lat/Long coordinates have to be entered manually. I have created an .html page which displays a properties’ coordinates when you click on the map, which then have to be copy/pasted into the two fields in admin, but I want to be able to integrate this page into the admin’s .php page to save the copy/paste on every property listed on the site.

I have two solutions for programmers:

1) Convert the .html page into useable php and integrate it into my admin page (please note I have already tried this but the map doesn’t display).

2) Insert the .html page as a frame into admin, and then create some method (javascript?) of clicking a button next to each Lat/Lon field and have that be copied from the frame into the main admin page.

When making a bid please be sure to enter Option 1 or Option 2 with your bid – if you don’t do this I can’t consider you because it means you haven’t read and/or understood the project details properly.

I have a wordpress website in which the goal is to plot on a googlemap the lat and long of ip addresses from firewall logs. I am using geomashup to plot the pins and postie to receive the emails from the firewall.

What I need is a script – plugin,etc that will parse the ip address from the firewall logs, make a call via an api(maxmind’s, etc.) and return the lat- long values to the geomashup plugin for wordpress. using the (geo_mashup_save_location)shortcode.

I need someone to write a Drupal module/patch that will allow me to use latitude/longitude arguments in location views. Currently I’m using the lat/lon filter but I will be calling the view through the services module externally, and lat/lon have to be passed as arguments.

Like the distance/proximity filter this argument should also be able to display the distance in miles between provided lat/lon and nodes with locations.
