I want good sound and animations. You can play MSN Gaming Zone backgammon to get an idea of what I am talking about.
On the bottom there would be a Chat section. Where even observers can chat. But the players can “Squelch” the observers while playing.
As you noticed, other players in the lobby will be able to watch the game, so you have to know how to make it work so there can be observers.
There also needs to be other usual backgammon features, like Resign, an “Auto-Roll” feature that if the player Checks it, the dices auto roll when it’s his turn to play.
Undo button, if player moves a checker he can undo it. When the last checker is moved, the moves are confirmed…

Number of wins/losses both players have made while playing.(score)
Flash will need to communicate with PHP, ie. send variables about the winner and the loser to php so php can output to mysql.

I have a PHP programmer that will do the php work, he just doesn’t know how to communicate with flash, so you will need to know how to, and closely communicate with him on AIM, or maybe MSN. You have to be available on the live chat a lot so we can all get this done together.
Of course you have to know how to play backgammon to program that game, I don’t want to explain you how to play if you don’t

I have a Joomla site and also a WordPress blog.
The Joomla site is working very well for the most part, BUT:
1) Community Builder is installed and I don’t know how to make full use of it.
2)Fireboard Forums are installed, but I don’t know how to customize and make changes
3) J Tags are installed, but they do not seem to actually be tags. I need them to be IN each article – not just part of the outside template, and I need the tag words to reflect each individual article. If JTags can’t do this, maybe I need something else??
4) I have the “Share It” tool installed–which allows people to share the site with Facebook, MySpace, igoogle, My Yahoo, etc. The problem is that it is showing in the menu template, rather than in each individual article. So… whenever I’m on a page and click “share this” — the “shared” link is always the home page. It needs to be the actual article I’m looking at.
5)I have Mamblog for community members installed–so members can all have their own blogs on our site. However, it isn’t showing up as an option for users to have. I don’t understand why, unfortunately….
6) I *might* need help setting up the news feed tool that is already in Joomla.
