This project needs to be competed by Sunday 9am PST. It needs to look good & professional but nothing too crazy or expensive.

Just need a quick poster created for a monthly 8ball tournament.
The poster needs to incorporate some pictures relating to playing pool… an 8 ball, pool table, cue… doesn’t really matter as long as it looks good and has some flow.

After it is designed, the text needs to be easily modified from microsoft word or a standard editor I can download for free, but the graphics can stay the same.

It is going to be printed on a standard size piece of paper 8 1/2 x 11.

I need some VB.NET code which will evaluate the strength of a single texas hold’em poker hand. It needs be able to identify the best hand available out of 7 cards dealt, but also to be able to evaluate the strength of a hand at each stage of the hand, so after the first two cards are dealt, after the flop, after the turn, and after the river. At each stage, it needs to be able to return:

1. The percentage likelihood of hitting:
a. A straight flush
b. Four of a kind
c. A fullhouse
d. A flush
e. A Straight
f. Three of a Kind
g. Two Pairs
h. One Pair

2. The overall percentage strength of the hand. For example. If the two player cards are King King, and the flop comes King King Ace, the player has an extremely strong hand, but could could still be beaten by a hand holding Ace Ace if one more Ace comes on the turn or the river, or it could be beaten by any hand holding an Ace, if the Turn and the River are both Aces. At each stage, the evaluator needs to return the percentage chance of there being a better hand than the one the player holds once all cards have been dealt.
This isn’t for a PokerBot or a multiple player hand evaluator, it’s just to return the strength of each given hand as a tool for teaching poker probability.
I’m aware there are some open source pieces of code out there but I don’t have the time to convert them to my exact needs, so I’m hoping someone has something similar already created. I need to be able to easily integrate the code with an existing VB.Net project.

I have an existing logo for my construction company(I attached it)… as you can see it doesn’t suit the name… “THE RENO KING”… The qualities I want in this logo are as follows:

2) powerful
3) dominating
4) integrity
5) established

The colors are good, but it needs to stand out beyond anyone else as the name is a great name. I am open to other logo ideas completely different from what I currently have. I think the main thing it is lacking is the font type… but like I said, I want something great, something that I will feel good about keeping for a long time, so if you feel you need to change more than the font, then please advise.

My friend wants a website built and I can build a basic one but am not far enough in school to do exactly what he wants. He would like some features from a few different sites. I need someone who can create illustrations of tarot cards to be used in an iPhone application.

Illustrations should be no less than 1000px tall by the appropriate size.

There will be one illustration for each of the minor arcana cards, Ace-through-Ten and four face cards for each suit: Pentagrams, Swords, Wands, Cups. Plus . The face cards are Page, Knight, Queen, and King. Each suit of the Minors corresponds to one of the four Alchemical Elements. Pentagrams corresponds with Earth, Swords with Air, Wands with Fire and Cups with water. The Face cards also correspond to the Elements. The Page is Earth, the Knight is Air, the Queen is Water, and the King is Fire. This makes the Page of Pentagrams, the Knight of Swords, the Queen of Cups and the King of wands very strong cards.

There will also need to be illustrations of the major arcana cards. The Major Arcana (greater secrets), or trump cards, consists of twenty two cards without suits; The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, The Empress, The Emperor, The Hierophant, The Lovers, The Chariot, Strength, The Hermit, Wheel of Fortune, Justice, The Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil, The Tower, The Star, The Moon, The Sun, Judgement, and The World.

A back design will also need to be designed, so a total of 79 illustrations.

All designs should have a positive spin, but I leave it up to the artist to use his talents.

All images will need to be original and all rights reliniquished upon completion of payment, however artist will be credited in the iPhone application.

Background

For this assignment, you complete a program to play the game of “Twenty-one” (also called “Blackjack”).

The general idea of Twenty-one is as follows. There are two players, the customer and the dealer. The dealer deals a card face down to the customer, then a card face up to herself (the up-card), then another card to the customer and another card to herself, both face down. In most cases, the customer may then ask for more cards, one at a time. The dealer does the same, and the hand is resolved. The object of the game is to be dealt a set of cards whose total value is as close to 21 as possible without going over.

Cards are dealt from a deck of 52. There are four cards in the deck with value 2, four with value 3, and so on up to value 9; there are sixteen cards with value 10 (four 10′s and twelve face cards: four jacks, four queens, and four kings); and there are four cards (“aces”) whose value may be either 1 or 11 depending on the value of a player’s remaining cards. For both players, an ace counts 11 unless the hand total is more than 21, in which case it counts 1.

For our purposes, the actual play of the game proceeds as follows. Each player receives two cards as described above. If the dealer’s cards total 21

Flyer Redesign:
Replace the Martin Luther King image with Barrack Obama, use the Martin Luther King image as a washed out image or a water mark in the background. Keep the wind turbines or use a image like it. Put the logo’s somewhere on the flyer, I think the bottom will work fine and change the color scheme to represent spring. Colors like brown, different shades of greens and blues and subsitute the heavy use of the yellow background.
